I actually enjoy using this app. I did not think I was gonna use it, but it was actually really helpful when I purchased a new vehicle.

No matter how carefully I drive, the Scotiabank insurance app always shows my smoothness score at zero. In my opinion, this app is a total fraud. It feels like they've set it up this way so they can keep our insurance rates high. It isn't perfect —even with careful driving, the app should reflect at least some smoothness in acceleration and braking, but it constantly stays at zero.😡😡😡
The Apps are great
The apps are great but attitude without consideration will lose customers.
Constant login requirement
The app terminates login session after couple hours. Remember me does not work. So almost every time you want to open the app you need to enter your credentials. This drives me crazy
Very convenient app
I would say the overall experience and design of the app makes it very easy to use. Issues Background location services kills the phone battery. A dedicated device should be a future solution instead of an app that consumes the device battery even when not using your vehicle.

Good insurance but…
The insurance coverage and price is amazing. However you have to call every time unless you’re French because the chat is always. And I mean always French even if you state you are English or don’t speak French or any other way you can word it. You only get French.
Stop logging me out of my account
Literally every time i go on this damn app it’s like “oh we realized you left so we logged you out” when for the first week of having it i was always logged in when i opened it. Why is this an issue now? and can y’all please for the love of god knock it off!
Won’t allow me to change drivers
I carpool to work quite often so I need to be able to change when I am the passenger. It has allowed me to do that many times in the past, but since the last update, it is no longer allowing me to do that. Unfortunately, one of my carpooling people is not the best driver, so now this is going on my record. Please fix the glitch that is causing me not to be able to change this.

Glitchy sign offs
the app logs me out every time I use it which results in issues using smarter ride. These issues will likely resort in my insurance cost increasing if it continues. Otherwise, the app is fine.

Despite being a loyal customer for two years with a clean driving record—free of any points or citations—my rates remain unjustifiably high. A lot of other companies have best deals .. give it a try! 2. Furthermore, my recent experience with customer service was highly frustrating; rather than assisting me in correcting a minor error, the interaction only added to my dissatisfaction."
Login only works once
The app looks clean and works fine. But if you don’t use it for some time, it auto logs out, and login does not work anymore. It opens the web app in the “One time Login” browser pop up, does not return to the app, so login information is not saved. Next time I open the app it will asks me to login again, and the cycle repeats until uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
It's a great program
If only it were modified, because the traffic congestion always causes brake pressure issues. And he deducts a star from my score, of course, because I have to stop a lot during rush hour.
Misleading
Not user friendly. Supposedly able to view digital insurance card but unable to do so.

Cette application est peu fiable, plusieurs fois par année on ne peut ajuster les trajets. Il faut perdre un temps précieux à appeler pour faire corriger les erreurs de trajets.

Mon assurance est passée de 395$ à 627$ sous prétexte que j’ai fait un accident, pourtant c était un choc chez moi et en plus j’ai fait la réparation moi même et j’ai déclaré, alors pourquoi doubler pratiquement mon assurance? Je ne peut plus référer votre compagnie d’assurance à mes amis.
