Nothing under the hood.
My trades don’t show until two days afterwards at times. Holdings are frequently missing. You also can’t download your cost basis in the app.

Log in Difficult
App is not too bad after you get logged in. Problem with this app is you’re required to provide a multi character password for security which is great but you cannot use a password autofill device to enter it at log in because Advice Works tells you you’ve entered it wrong. However, when you type in the exact same password, you can log in. App needs to allow user to use a password program to enter your info
Not updating balances
Today is May 31 and my account balances have not updated since May 23. Come on, there are transactions every day and I just had a major sale I need the details of. Unacceptable.

The app works like it should.
Not secure
The app did an update that requires you to turn off privacy settings in safari to be able to log in. Their rep told me that if your account is locked, you can just use the reset password option which will automatically unlock the account (which seems like a major security concern). And when I pointed this out I was told I could send my complaint to my financial advisor. So they couldn’t take that valid complaint.
Update
Says update the app in order to log in. I updated the app and it still says it requires an update. Have closed and gone back in several times. Not a good look for clients.

This app asked to update but when you press update, it just goes to open and says must update so can’t get it to update? Can’t open it to see my account do to it Not updating
⭐⭐⭐ but there is potential.
The AdviceWorks app is functional but falls short of its potential. While it allows clients to link accounts and upload documents, it lacks key features available in the web browser version. Being unable to organize accounts, review cash flows, and other important financial tools in the app is a significant pain point for my clients. Most of them end up bypassing the app altogether and using their mobile browsers, which is not ideal and detracts from the overall experience. If these features were integrated, the app would be far more useful, and my clients wouldn't be tempted to switch to better budgeting apps.
Great App for Viewing Account Balances and Documents
Cetera's Adviceworks has really upgraded my financial tracking experience with Cetera! With a seamless interface, I can effortlessly check my account balances and conveniently view/upload documents directly from my phone. It's a game-changer for staying on top of my finances and communicating with my Financial Advisor. I look forward to additional features in the future!
STOP LOGGING ME OUT
good lord this app is HORRIBLE! my financial advisor switched to cetera from LPL and every time i close the app, it logs me out and even with biometrics says my password is never correct upon re-entry. i have reset my password at least five times today alone. get this fixed! I'm about to pull my investments and put them somewhere else because of this, it is RIDICULOUS.

Since the most recent update the App crashes on me every 2nd time I open it & I have to delete & te- install, painful
Good however…..
If you could get this in landscape mode this would be a big help. A lot of us probably use a tablet of some sort and having to turn it upright is not very practical. Otherwise, it is a very good app.
Needs improvement
No historical charts of balance or asset performance. Does not automatically pick up SMS with code. Does not link to eMoney like the website version does. Provides no value over WealthScape app. No stock lookup. No way to change password.
Not User Friendly
This financial app is the worst I have ever used. Fidelitys app is far superior. I can’t open this AW app and immediately see my total account amount and the days loss or gain. I hate the tiny fine print and faded pastel colors. Total thumbs down.
App is blank
I am unable to attach screen dumps. I have my AdviceWorks account finally set up. Remember, I deleted, restarted my phone, reloaded the app, still nothing but a blank screen wants it loads. The only place I can log into my account is if I’m on a computer. There’s no one I can contact no App Support nothing.
AdviceWorks was completely offline, but now it does not reflect correct data!
07 MAR 2025: AdviceWorks does not reflect current account status. My account status on a Financial Company is $X, but on AdviceWorks it is shown as $Y. And $Y is <<< $X! How difficult can this be? I sincerely hope that you did not outsource your software development effort to EM and his Clowns! On 28 FEB 2025 the app and website are completely offline! I did not receive an email letting me know that you were going offline. How long will you be offline? Did you experience a data breach? Were you hacked and being held ransom? You definitely need to get a better DevOps Team. This is not the way to update an app (and the corresponding website)!
