What people like
- Great balance of guidance and independence.
- Calm design without loud chaotic noises.
- Actually teaches correct letter formation steps.
- Excellent customer service when issues arise.
What they complain about
- Hidden charges and confusing subscription traps.
- Custom words disappear or repeat endlessly.
- Paywalls block basic lowercase letters.
- Recent updates made it too hard for kids.
From Anna
We’ve only been using it a few weeks, but the structure is really solid. The tracing guides are accurate and easy for kids to follow.
Keeps locking content
I had a weekly subscription set up and it kept locking the content. I decided to try and buy the lifetime subscription to see if it would help and everything is still locked. I’m honestly irritated bc they don’t really even give you a way to reach out to resolve this issue.
It’s ok
I like the app. The child gets a gold silver or bronze star depending on how well formed the letter is. It’s not overly dramatic either, just right. It doesn’t let you form the letter incorrectly, instead prompting you to start again and the location to start and direction to make the strike. The ‘game’ mode only has capital letters though. I’d love this to have lower case font as well :)
The new update is terrible!
I liked this app so much and it’s been so helpful for my kids on the spectrum to work on tracing and learning their letters, numbers, and writing words but this new update is too hard for them, the letters are too small and it is not progressing them the way it did before these changes. I’m very disappointed because I use it for data collection as an OT and it was very motivating for them but now I’ll need to find something else. Please restore it back to how it was!!

this app is so cute and my kids are actually proud of what they do in it. not many apps hold their attention like this one
I would rate zero if I could.
I downloaded this because I was bored but you can literally only practice ABC and 123 for the alphabet and number. I find that absolutely insane and money hungry, you won’t even let us write the full alphabet if we don’t pay 4.99/1mo or 19.99 for a lifetime???.. Deleted it right after I found that out and will not be downloading again. They also use AI a LOT, if I knew I would have not even interacted with it in the first place. You’re so lazy you can’t find actual images of common things like mugs? Boooo tomato tomato 🍅🍅🍅👎
Good app, cursive letters do not join up and only the 3 first letters of the alphabet.
Hello, I tried the Cursive letters and the letters do not connect.
Handwriting
I bet it is going to be HARD 😡
Good
This one actually teaches, not just entertains. My daughter keeps trying to make her shapes and letters better every time she uses it.
:/
it said to pay 3.99 for extra letters but i was charged $6.20? i just got ripped off man 😭
Potential to be good but has bugs
- Lowercase 'e' can be completed with 1st stroke in my words - my custom words don't save after doing the first lot of words. They also repeat. Please put custom words in a different place, this aids spelling tests. - using phonic sounds for sounding of the letters would be a huge help.
A
Most kids apps are way too loud and chaotic. This one is much calmer. My daughter really gets into it and it’s become one of our regular car ride apps.
It looks like grown-ups have bad printing
That printing is so bad that doesn’t even look like that letter
NOT CHILD FRIENDLY
My son was using this app and he was buying everything i got charged over $10. This app is not child friendly so it gets a 2.dear people who made this app make your app children friendly my son will not be using this app anymore!
G
My son usually hates anything that feels like studying, but he likes this one. no loud sounds, not too busy, just easy practice
Why do u have to
Some reason u have to buy premium but I did and I don’t get more numbers? Please fix the bug
Жадность сгубила программу
Когда-то была одна из лучших бесплатных программ для изучения алфавита. Но платить за неё смысла нет. Есть другие более качественные
App 👍🏽
Overall, a solid handwriting app that feels focused on learning rather than just entertainment.

Difficulty with the update resolved
Recently I updated my phone and was forced to update this app with it. It was difficult and instead of contacting the company to figure out the problem, I complained on my review. Immediately someone from the company responded and suggested I email them to get it fixed. I emailed the company and received an answer right away. What great customer service! They were able to make it right and I once again can used this amazing app. This is one of the best handwriting apps out there. It was a great tool for my now 14 year old and I can still use it for my 3 year old. It is such a great way for little ones (and big ones) to work on handwriting. Thank you for all you have done and are doing!
Not correct formation
As a teacher looking for a home learning opportunity this sounded good but you have to upgrade to even get lowercase letters! Only able to do my child’s name without upgrading and the first letter R was formed wrong - you don’t take the pen off, you go back up to the top before going round the curved section of the R. Also able to use the words section for free but theses were in capital letters not compatible with school learning will do young children more harm than good, only gave one star because zero wasn’t an option 😞
Good
Good mix of independence and correction.
Doesn’t work well on iPad
I bought the app but it won’t let me restore the game to get all the letters as a lock screen comes up and you can’t see the question and the keyboard pops up in front of it. Same goes with the parent access, you can’t see the question to get out of the lock screen. Don’t waste your money.
Fewer mistakes
I’ve noticed fewer mistakes after regular practice with this app.
good balance
It feels like a good balance between guidance and independence.
