What people like
- Really helps kids get better pencil control.
- Calm design keeps distractions away from learning.
- Great for daily practice before starting school.
What they complain about
- Ads pop up after every single letter.
- Accidental ad clicks send you to other apps.
- Letter formation rules don't match what schools teach.
- App crashes repeatedly and won't fix itself.
Wonderful for Homeschool Families
Supports handwriting, sight words, and phonics in one easy learning app.
Keeps crashing
Worked great for a week or so, but now it crashes every time we open it and there’s no update to fix it. We tried deleting it and redownloading but it didn’t work.
im 13 and play this
im 13 and im still learning my letters names and sounds
Not responsive
Not responsive
Too many ads!
So annoying! Every letter!
Perfect for Preschool Practice Time
The guided tracing helps with fine motor skills, and the simple design keeps learning focused.
1 STAR TERRIBLE DONT BUY
' This is terrible there's an add 24/7. And you can't even write one word without an add, DO NOT BUY THIS APP ITS TERRIBLE AND BAD 1 STAR JUST STOP
Stupid to have ads
This would be a good app for CHILDREN BUT YOUR STUPID ADS RUIN IT TOP JOB ON THE COUNTLESS STUPID ADS OPEN IN MY SAFARI APP I HAD TO CLOSE NEAR 50 of the stuffing things who ever thought yer let’s make a educational app for kids wait lets put ads in it need to uppercut yourself 😤 morons !!!
Good for learning letters BUT...
Unfortunately although it shows how to write the letters the formation isn’t right. It makes sense to me but now my child is in school it’s different. A b is not just a line and then a backwards c they have to go down, up and around. Whilst this app is good it’s not how the schools do it.
Balanced Learning for Busy Families
As a working parent, I need a learning app that delivers meaningful practice in short sessions. This one provides focused tracing for letters and reinforces phonics naturally. My preschooler enjoys reviewing sight words without feeling pressured. It supports literacy and kindergarten readiness in a manageable way.
Infuriating
Constant barrage of ads makes the app unusable.
Too many ads
Would be a Great learning tool except for the ads. Can’t do more than one letter without more ads. Deleted :(
Great Fine Motor Practice
Tracing activities noticeably improve pencil control.
Difficult to trace
My toddler son had a difficult time tracing the letters because if you go out of the line, it won’t get traced.
A lot of ads
App concept is good but if your kid accidentally press the ads button (which appears on every single letter of alphabet) it will navigate away from screen to an advertisement. I would rather go for a paid app that has no advertisements. There are better app for kids learning, definitely not this one,
Practical Tool for Early Childhood Teachers
In my classroom, students use this learning app during literacy stations. The tracing exercises reinforce handwriting while phonics connections deepen understanding.
Wrong letter formation being taught!
Sorry but you do not lift your pencil forming the majority of lowercase letters! Very disappointing! (I am a teacher! )
Engaging Without Being Distracting
Many preschool apps are full of noise, but this one focuses on learning. My child practices tracing letters daily, and I’ve noticed better pencil control during offline handwriting work. The sight words and early reading features feel age-appropriate and manageable. It’s a balanced learning app that supports fine motor skills in a calm environment.
Not a good learning tool
This app is difficult to use. It is hard to draw with and it has in app purchases on the screen while you are drawing that are easily tapped by accident. Definitely not worth the cost
Building Kindergarten Readiness at Home
Regular ABC tracing and handwriting work here have prepared my child well for school expectations.
Great but only when it works!
We have managed to play this once, all other times we cannot get past the ubiquitous games title.. so frustrating as the game is great!
Teacher Approved
Helpful for reinforcing tracing and literacy centers.
Frustrating
Too many ads. Practically 1 ad after every "letter" activity. Doesn't understand how many people write perfectly fine in 1 stroke (eg "a, b, d, e .....etc) rather than 2 or more! My 4yo can't clearly understand which star to aim for. Maybe each separate stroke should be different colours & aim for a different shape i.e. Yellow line to yellow star, Red line to red heart, Blue line to blue circle.
Helpful for ABC Mastery
Consistent letter practice supports preschool readiness.
Simple and Effective
Great for preschool tracing and early literacy practice.
