Not happy
I initially was very pleased with the simplicity of this app. However, it has too many lags. It kicks me out of the system all the time. On top of that, after using it for less than a month, it completely erased all my travel miles. So, now I’m shopping for a separate mileage tracker app. I’m unable to change anything in tax status portion, it just doesn’t work🤷🏻♀️ it doesn’t calculate any taxes, even approximately. I attempted to contact the support at least 5 times, and never got any response.

I give this app 0 stars and feel like this is a misrepresentation as they have no affiliation with QuickBooks, but make it seem like they are apart of QuickBooks. They force you to sign up for a payed monthly subscription before you find out they are their own entity. The logo, and interface looks very similar to QuickBooks but when you try to sign in give you the error code. If there not QuickBooks, they shouldn’t try to advertise that they are!!!

I thought this app was great, but now it will not let me go past a page where it asks if I want to pay for the premium version . If I don’t wanna pay for the premium version, it won’t allow me to use it at all now.
Great for contractors
Ultimately, it was almost perfect but the glaring problem with this app is that it does not accurately calculate profit or loss. The numbers are off. There are also a few other things that they could do to make this app outstanding but for the most part, it does what I needed to do. It also solved a huge problem that I had keeping track of my contractors expenses and income. One thing that I wish they could fix is the ability to delete an expense category after it’s created. Also the ability to change the date format to the region you live in would be nice.

It has been over a month since I have received a response for help with accessing my QB Self-Employed. I can not access the account to get the information that has been uploaded to complete my tax filing.
So Far - Okay
Just started using the accounting app - I’ve had it for a while but never used it. Currently, the app if getting stuck on the “analyzing” my uploaded receipts and not processing. However, once that gets figured out, I think it’ll be a game changer.

Update misfortune
Even after paying for the monthly subscription it still has that beginning screen that you can not close trying to sell you on the subscription. Before update I didn’t notice this being an issue but now it freezes a lot and most times will not process past that first screen and crash.
I’ve been using this software for years!
Phenomenal product!
Terrible app
App tris to refresh every time you come back to it. Too many pop ups asking for reviews. Several unintuitive UX issues. Drop-down options are missing the some of the most logical options. The opening page with a “get started” button is horrendous. Terrible app

Heckling your customers until they rage review your app is not an effective strategy.
The app is fine. I would have given it 3 or 4 stars if it weren’t for that infuriating pop up request for an App Store review every single time you log a trip. So here you go, Self Employed, here is the review you have badgered me for relentlessly. 1 star for a cumbersome, aggravating, irritating pop up that slows me down and is overall just a pain in my *** every time I categorize a trip. In the spirit of actually providing useful feedback, the auto tracking of trips isn’t that great and usually misses about 1/3 of my drive. For the most part though, this app is decently okay. Does what I need it to. 3.5 of 5 stars.

Constant pops in your face to pay or leave review even before you can really see what’s app capable of. Failed to use my existing intuit account. Lack of automation for expenses.

So I am unable to open up and view stored receipts I scanned in from last year (Nov and Dec 2025). When I click on them an empty jpg file opens with nothing on it. Also no agents are responding to any of my questions in the app for 3 weeks! This is unacceptable!
