What people like
- The AI tracking is surprisingly accurate
- It gives you video clips of your form
- Real-time voice calls keep you focused
What they complain about
- You have to pay for most features
- It misses tracking some of your shots
- Setup is tricky without a tripod
Went from a scrub to a Uaa future player
I agvarge 14 points a game
B
Don’t wanna pay
Free
It would be cool if you could make a version with only the shootcounter and Sounds or other fetures that cant be done in the pay version for the broke homies
decent
it’s a pretty good concept, but I just needs a few kinks worked out. It doesn’t track some of my shots, but it would be really cool if when they doesn’t count a shot that you can say make or something along that so it will count it.
Good
Too be honest. Amazing, when it was free. I hate how they took off the free mode. Because i want to improve and track my shots, but i cant whilst there is a subscription. There should at least be a free option
Useful
This is so useful and gives me actually good workouts.
Buggy on iPad
Continues to crash when selecting drills, can change settings, just keeps crashing. Extremely frustrating
Bug
Highlights aren’t loading but great app any help?
💵 ❌
As a kid I really need to get better but then you have to pay for it and I don’t really have money like that
Shooting
Not everyone has a tripod laying around and so I don’t use one because I don’t have one some of the shots I make don’t count as makes it counts towards misses and some misses don’t count it’s the same way I feel like they could update the shooting some for people who don’t have one laying around.
Ball ai
Super helpful and super fun to train with
money
Too much money
Why do i need to buy the pro version
Great app but man i wish there was a free version even if it only had super basic stuff and it was limited
Chris smoove
Splassssssh
Bad tracking
I would not Evan shoot then they would bring it down like 5% did not help me
Solo le falta una cosa
Básicamente está bastante bien la app, y aunque es de pago la versión free es buena, solo le falta estar en Android.
Ball ai
Take time to talk to you help you and give you options to get better on
It’s not free
This is unfair why is it not free
Shoot
Nicht du wirfst und triffst, aber bekommst keinen Punkt
Me
I like it
not paying
i’m not paying this
I’ll give it a 4 stars, it’s a very good app but…
It’s a great app for people who truly cares about their basketball skills but could the dev change some features that requires payment to free or make the premium cost lower, but still a very good app
Made my shot way better
Used to use the free plan on this app. Just shoot around, no drills, just 3 pt shooting (spot shooting). Got my % up by like 20 in the following season. Big ups Ball AI
Not good
It won’t focus on the freaking ram
Good
It does the job for the most part, sometimes shots just don't register but it can’t be perfect. The free 500 shots per week is good for casual hoopers, but if you put up hundreds of shots and train, you’ll need to buy the 10 dollar membership.
Best Training App
Honestly, this app has been the best way to improve my skills. Super accessible, easy to use app. Definitely recommend.
Difficult to setup
Maybe I’m just used to the homecourt app. A lot of the setup requires manual adjustments. For example, i have to put the overlay square on the camera at exactly on the hoop board. Why couldn’t it just detect it like homecourt. That square is on the center of the camera, why fix the hoop at the center of the camera? It requires a particular color for the ball. I have a black silent basketball so it didn’t work. Homecourt detects even a tennis ball. It even detects 2 balls. I just gave up as it needed too much work to setup. Disclosure: I tried the app on my backyard basketball court. Maybe this app was meant for real basketball court.
!!!
awesome app
Robbed
Took my money before the trail ended after attempting to cancel it they still proceeded to take the yearly fee even beyond disputing it and will get my refund back from my bank ! Ai doesn’t even keep up with you
Ball AI saved my handles
I've tried a bunch of basketball tracking apps and Ball AI is easily the best. You just prop your phone up, hit start, and it handles everything like makes, misses, shooting percentage, release angle, shot speed, even court location for every rep. No more manually counting shots or guessing at your numbers. The AI video tracking is surprisingly accurate, and getting clips afterward makes it easy to actually see what's going wrong in my form, not just the stats. Bally gives solid real-time callouts during the session too, which keeps workouts from feeling like a grind.
Paywall
It used to be free and I tracked my shots with it now you just gotta pay regardless 🤦. This was my favorite app now I gotta find a new one
