The Best of the Best
Starting my 35th year of coaching I have tried many products like this and I can tell you that as a 4 year user this is the best of the best. Easy to use and learn. This bad boy does a great job with play design, playbook creation and video animations. I highly recommend it and I am not sponsored by the developer.
For personal use only
Can’t share it with anybody without paying which is just not in my pocket as a student
SUBSCRIPTION
It’s great, but you can only save 5 plays before you have to buy a subscription
Good app, outrageous, shameful price
I’m a volunteer coach of a youth team, looking for a tool to help teach basketball concepts. This one seems to have everything I could ask for. Wonderful. I’m ready to buy. $200 PER YEAR. That’s almost double what I pay for the entire Microsoft Office professional suite. Seriously, GFY.
App Won’t log in
You have glitches in your app that won’t let me log in to the phone app. But i have no problem logging into the computer website. Overall, i like the app but need it on my phone for practices.
Fantastic
An amazing tool for basketball coaches looking to demonstrate plays and create game plans. 10/10
The Hoops Geek
The Hoops Geek has been great up until the past week where the sub manager has not been loading.
Getting Better
Im trying to figure out how to use it properly. But so far it’s growing on me
Great Diagram App
Great app to quickly diagram a play and share. Easy to use!
GOOD
It’s a bummer that you have to pay to get certain upgrades
Great on the surface
Immediately your asked to create an account after you download. That’s where I turned around and uninstalled. No mention of if an account will cost you money or not so wasn’t going to waste my time filling it all out just to find out I need a monthly fee or something.
Exactly what I was looking for
Easy to use
Solid features easy to use
This app is great for creating videos and visuals for coaches and teams to store and use. The only reason it didn’t get 5 starts is because although there is an “optional” button I wish you could do more with plays that have different options.
Wish it was free
I would have given it 5 stars if I could have created more than 5 plays without paying. Also, the monthly fee should be more like a one-time fee instead.
Geek hoops
This is an awsome app it alllows you to maybe make the next pick and roll
Good but you have to pay
The app is very good to show and make plays but the worst thing about this app is that after you make 5 plays you have to pay monthly or annually for $8 and it really annoys me that I would have to pay after I made 5 plays
Keeps Glitching
The screen keeps reloading and you have to be quick logging out. You’ll be lucky if it doesn’t reload on you when you sign back in. Outside of that the app is ok. Curious what I would’ve gotten elsewhere instead of this purchase
Such a fun app
Great app to play around with, able to show different phases of a play. Love this app! Would recommend to any bball coach
Good app
I like how user friendly it is to use
Great app!
From a kid that loved basketball but never learned from a playbook, to a man that volunteered to coach. This app really helped tremendously with generating some basic plays. Also get to add catchy names that the kids like, which adds a motivational boost to executing them.
Best coaching plays app!!
I have tried a lot of different apps for drawing/designing plays. This is the best by far!
Amazing program
Amazing application. Very well done Hoops Geek!
