Amazing
Yall are SLEEEPPINGG on Freefy 😭 The only issue I have is like having to close and open the app to get it to play without being in the app (I’m pretty sure that’s my WiFi) but so far? Genuinely no complains. Just wish there was a shuffle playlist option.
disappointment.
I recently downloaded the app, thought it was gonna be at least decent. Start trying to login, app was a bit slow and laggy at first so I had to refresh over 3 times, finally manage to login and i go to the search to find some songs to add to a playlist, then there’s connectivity issues and when I search up a song nothing pops up even if the song is very well known and popular (I’ve tried it with multiple songs on there and still nothing showed) and at first I thought it was just my internet but I’ve went on other apps and it was perfectly fine. I managed to add only 3 songs to a playlist. Overall I personally wouldn’t recommend the app as it’s difficult to even run properly.
Just two things
Please fix when you press “view track” or “view album” or “view artist” it cuts the music out, and if you can add the ability to arrange tracks in the queue.
The search feature is terrible
Its finicky and doesnt usually work right and often times tell me theres no search results for songs that they do have even if spelled correctly
Constant unreliability
Every single time I want to listen to music there’s always a DDoS attack on you guys or some random bs and I get you guys have to do things in order to keep things up but man, do you guys never NOT have an attack on your app? Would not recommend for very long periods.

I loved it at first
It was fun at first but then the background play messed up and the search bar doesn’t work I typed something in and waited 10 minutes all for it to just say song not found when I have the song in my playlist

A few months ago, this app ran fine and I had to delete it due to storage issues. Downloaded it the other day and I can't seem play any songs. Sorry for the negative feedback, I really do respect all the hard work of the folks who made & maintain this app. I really want to rate it higher but alas. I'm aware tech issues take longer to fix and address than people usually think, wishing the best to the app's future.
Constantly asking for login
App is now constantly asking for me to login, even when I’m already logged in. Then I have to directed close the app just to use it. Very frustrating
Best music app
For years I used SoundCloud,but then after every song that you listened to you'd have to listen to a 30 second commercial,and I super appreciate Freefy just having their ads on the screen and not disturbing audio commercials that disrupt the flow of music🎸🥁🎤
It’s ok
Can’t exit the app and hear music which is annoying. Also I recently updated it and now I can’t skip or pause the songs

I can not play songs there graded out for me but I tryed it on my pc it works so good I recommend this app just maybe the website version

So I’ve had Freefy for about 2 1/2 years and now, whenever I click on a song, it doesn’t play and doesn’t even try to load. I hope Freefy works by next month.
Almost the perfect app (please respond freedy team)
Almost the perfect music app absolutely great it has little issues but one very large one that I don’t see why it isn’t implemented. The app has every song and no ads and can transfer playlists from Spotify but the only large main issue is that when I close the app or go to the home screen my music stops which for a music app makes absolutely no sense and I wish it didn’t do that every other music app has that feature why can’t freefy have it and it would be perfect
Great Service
Summary at bottom Freefy is a life saver. I’m personally way too broke for Spotify and I can’t stand constant interruptions, so I went digging a little and found this a few years ago. It’s got all the songs you would want, all with very little ads. I’ll go through some pros and cons. Pros: Completely free with no subscription options. Infinite skips, no ads (other than easily closable banners), plays even while phone is in sleep mode. Plays music videos on some songs, since it streams off YouTube. They’ll port your Spotify playlist over for free if you email them. Great support: when the app updated to Freefy 2.0, the UI changed and all playlists were erased until you entered the archived 1.0 version. People complained, and it was rolled back within days. Cons: Tends to crash when Wi-Fi isn’t great. It sometimes won’t put the video into MiniPlayer, so it can take a few tries for the song to play while your phone is in sleep mode. Only major bugs include: Occasionally requiring you to manually turn the music back on, because it doesn’t always go to the next song (only happens if video is in MiniPlayer or only playing audio), and sometimes (very rarely, I believe they patched it) it will loop the same 2 or 3 songs instead of shuffling your full playlist. Summary: While it has issues, Freefy is totally worth your time.
Never even got to try
I wanted to give this a chance but it kept refusing to even start, saying I had no internet reception despite having full bars and on WiFi. Extremely disappointed
Ok sometimes
The app is amazing since ion gotta worry about having ads in between my music and playlists but it’s like sometimes very buggy and sometimes when I find the right song it plays something else that’s on YouTube with the same title which isn’t good
Could be great
The only issue I have and it's the biggest one is I cannot search songs, albums, or artists, it'll take a minute to try and load before telling me over and over to "Search Freefy"
Sigh.
I really thought it was gonna be a good app. I researched looked at everything, it looked good. I downloaded it and what do ya know. It was Eh? No hate on the creators. But the creation just likely needed to be looked at more. It just needed to be cared for, it could’ve been magnificent. But the creators didn’t put much thought into it. Still a W tho. Great stuff.

This was a efficient app, but I noticed that when I leave the app it doesn’t play the music still, so if u fixed that I think the app would be more useable
Can’t listen while phone is off
I’ve been using Spotify and always got ads. I use Spotify still but only for videos. Freefy has no ads and can repeat sounds for free. My only problem is you can’t turn off your phone and still listen like you can with Spotify. Please fix that.

0 BackGround App Refesh
There is no option for background app refresh, every time that I go to my background on Ios, the app stops working completely with the tab not closed. Please Fix Background App Refresh.
Love it, but some issues
Overall the app is great yet there’s a few issues. The app overall feels as if it loads slowly at times and sometimes freezes, I also wish there was a back button to just go back once to the last page I was at rather than having to reset or switch pages. The second thing is that some songs play the clean version no matter what, meaning if there’s a song you enjoy with cursing but it plays the clean version it ruins the song. The third thing is the inability to turn your phone off, often when I listen to music I put my phone down and listen with it off, but with this app it means it stays on and sometimes even plays a music video which drains your battery MUCH faster. The last and final thing is that some songs play the music video, I want to at times just hear the song but some force you to keep it up and it also means if someone were to grab your phone when you’re listening to music your phone is already open and they can do whatever due to that. Overall I love the app but changing or fixing these issues would make me love it a lot more.

Great until it's not
I needed an app that can give me music because I noticed when I play music on YouTube after a while it gives me the "are you still watching" and it stops my music randomly because I have it minimized so I found this app and thought it would be different. Just to find out it pulls music from YouTube as it's source and it plays the videos and audio but you will get a lot of those video that will have breaks in the middle for speaking to another member in the band. So for that reason alone it's getting a 3 star review. If it had soley music that was audio only like Lyric videos and didn't show the video in the player this easily could have been a 5 star app.
It needs work
I like the app. I think it’s good to use for ad free. But there’s some things that could be fixed that are kind of annoying. For example I would have the pause and unpause my music. Which this was fixed a little but and I don’t mind it as much but it is still a little annoying. Or if I want to be on Instagram and listen to music I can’t really do that like how I want to because it’s going to pause my music or play instagrams music over it. Another thing is sometimes if I wanna play music it was pause it when I leave the app then I will have the swipe up on my phone and hurry and play the music. If I don’t hurry and do it then it will disappear from the top of my screen. It also disappears when you don’t play it and leave the app for more than 10 seconds. Another thing is you guys don’t have all the audios for music. It’s a little annoying to want to play a song and hear the whole music video or a different song. And there aren’t many options for that so it’s either you have the song normally or you have to listen to the music video which is kind of annoying because for example “remember the time” by Michael Jackson, the music video is 9 minutes long and I do not want to hear the music video. Or I don’t want interruptions in the middle of my song from the video. But other than those things I like this app. I think there’s things to be worked on but it’s really good for what it is. Most people make you pay subscriptions just to listen to the music with your phone off (YOUTUBE MUSIC) or just to listen ad free so I appreciate that. I love my music and I think all music should be free lol @U_U.II And the app does go really slow which is very annoying(I wanted to add that)
Sad
Could takeover the industry with a competent developer team quality of life doesn’t exist, forget about playing music outside the app, navigating interfaces, or any basic function you would expect. So sad to see visions ruined with lazy incompetence. Doubtless invested for selfish and underhanded reasons, why else would they be building a structural foundation on stilts while collecting as much data and information from artists and users.
Rough round the edges
I support the vision, but honestly, I couldn’t get a single song to play. It’s immediately skipping tracks.

why cant i lock my ohone or use another app?? and why is it playing video in full screen and if i turn on pip it minimizes the video into a smalled screen but still if i lock the phone the song stops. dont recommend downlond audiomack wayy better

since it was a free app, i had very low expectations, but it is very functional and most importantly- free! i hope it stays that way the only problems are that the search bar glitches out sometimes and doesn’t let me type but otherwise its great 👍

It’s good, but…
I love this app, really I do, but you need to make it to where you can play it when you turn off your phone and add a shuffle button. With all of that, it can be the best music app ever!
Won’t let me log in
I go to log in using google, it lets me up until the point it says go back to app. I select that, nothing happens. It stays on the same screen, I refresh, it asks me to log in again, I do, then I’m stuck on the same page. I close the app and reopen it, do it again, stuck again.
Errors and flaws
It doesn’t have a skip button but it’s free and it’s a little glitchy but for the most park it’s good
No ads this app is amazing
The app is great the only app out that you can listen to is Music Ad free for free I don’t how this does not have more reviews this app is amazing! I have a suggestion could you make a feature where can you adjust the order in that you play the songs in the playlist.
Tired
App was alright for a while but last few months very glitchy, never plays or loads. After trying for so long I'm just tired.
The mobile app is alright, however…
I enjoy listening to my favorite playlist without interruptions, but I’d enjoy if the songs continued playing while my phone stays off. Other then that, the website version is pretty useful for that when I’m on my MacBook or computer.

Okay now what..?
I can admit the version 1.0 of this app was good, it had some errors from here and there. But it surely worked well then this app right now. I’m trying to register and I try and the app messes up all over, and starts redirecting me. And telling me the email has already been used so I’m like. “Okay cool, let me try to login” and it had other plan so guess. Because I tried to login, “login failed” what is going on?!

Disappointing
Doesn’t load half the time and if it does it freezes. I really wanted to like this app and I was super excited to try it but was disappointed.
It’s good
The Things you can do on this app are great, as it creates a premium-like listening experience, although the app is hard to navigate and quite slow at times, I would say it’s a great mobile alternative to spotify. My only recommendations for improvement are optimising UI and making the songs/playlists downloadable.

I would’ve gave this app five stars, but it’s a lot of things holding it back from achieving that like logging you out every month which is very pointless to me and I wish for that monthly disconnecting to be removed completely because im now unable to log in.
