Really enjoyed this app until recently when they made it so you have to pay for goals. My child loved savings goals that branched off from her main account and it was her main inspo for doing chores. However this was included in the free app but now you need to subscribe to get this feature. It’s really affected our use of the app.

App seems broken
The app doesn’t seem to perform like it used to. I can no longer get a picture for each kids profile. Also when one kid adds money, it won’t let us go back to the screen that chooses each kids profile. The app seems broken.
Easy
I love this app. It makes things easy to track with paying our kids and tracking what they’ve spent. I like how it handles multiple accounts within each kid, and how it seamlessly syncs. The customer service is fantastic - our little one recently accidentally deleted an account on it, and customer service had it back up within hours of me emailing them.
NOT FREE
It’s such a scam. They advertise it as free but after you set everything up and use 5 transactions, you are DONE unless you pay. There are better options out there.

Bomad is amazing for me I have “real” money kinda it like so cool

It will only allow a limited amount of transactions- at all- before you have to pay. I could tolerate limit per day or something. Frustrating to be cut off right after getting it all set up for my kids.
Best system for kid money
This has been life changing for actually keeping track of our kids' money! I cannot overstate this enough. I have tried keeping track on paper for years, and another allowance app and nothing had worked until now. We have a lot of kids and now we and they always know how much money they have. My husband and I use it for our personal money as well, and it has been great for that too. The only thing I wish is I could use it when I have no internet.
Loved but hated in the end
I loved the app at the beginning but at a certain point i had to pay like a whole bunch of money to be able to add to my balance like why???
Simple for tracking allowance
This app is easy to use and doesn’t have extra bells and whistles, which I appreciate. My family needed a cashless way to track how much the kids have in their “wallets” without having to attach to any banks or whatever.

Not Free
Only allows about 5 entries before it completely locks you out. Very annoying considering the FAQs on the website say that the core functionality is free and they only charge for some features.

Best Financial Organizational Tool…
This app and software is the best financial organizational tool for kids I have found. The ability to have both parents linked and also the child to monitor balances has been convenient. We are able to keep the money in our bank or investments and basically be the bank for our daughter all while tracking her income and expenses. She monitors it frequently to know how much she can spend. I am happy with this download and recommend it to anyone with kids.

Works and can be better
Kids should be able to see first what their repeat transactions are so they know what they’re making money on immediately. Kids side should not allow view of the shorts or any videos and kids side should NOT be able to delete repeat transactions or accounts. It’s good they can add a goal but really - having parents go through the hassle of re-adding repeat transactions because a child was exploring the app non-maliciously is such a headache!! Otherwise - I love that it works across iPhone / android / and iPads as we use all in our family. BTW — BOMAD is a cool name - but I’m an aunty —- and we aunts and uncles — we love to help our littles with this app too— just saying

Sure,it’s great for saving money,but when my dad bought it for me l thought it was easier to save money but as always I was wrong.first of all,you can suggest what you did but it would not work unless your parents submit it.they are also able to delete your suggestion.it doesn’t actually delete though.it just stays where it was created except it is crossed out.I really don’t like it.I wish I could delete it.but my dad will get me in trouble.DON’T GET BOMAD!!!!!!!!!!
I love this app but.
There are so many cool features but there are some tricky things to figure out but most of it is awesome and a pretty cool app.I think you should app some features so the parents can enter the child’s account and can see if they have done there chores and can give them the money. Overall it’s a great app I really recommend this app!
Simple to use and effective
Our precious allowance app went away and this was the perfect solution. Easy interface for maintaining our ‘virtual, accounts.
Wiped All My Data and Free Version No Longer Available
Been using this app for months. All of a sudden tonight I opened the app and all of my data was gone, and I had only 5 free transactions left. No way to retrieve the data that I lost, and no warning this was coming. Will be going to another app from now on. So disappointing for an app with such great fee features
Great pocket money control and kid’s financial learning tool
This App has revolutionized the way our family deals with pocket money allowing for flexibility for both parents and children. Children get to practice financial control through moving money to ‘savings’ accounts or for payments etc. We as parents are able to instantly add money to reward good deeds and or subtract money as a consequence for misdeeds. It is great for shopping. The child can instantly see what their balance is and if purchase is agreed the parent can instantly remove money from the pocket money account to recover costs for the child’s purchase on their card. Would highly recommend for all families using a pocket money system.
Easy to set up & just what we needed
We have two kids (8&5) who get an allowance (subdivided in 4 types) and periodic gifts from grandparents. We tried piggy banks, fake coins, etc but we would always forget and then guess how much they had when there was something they wanted. Bomad solves those problems and more!
Can’t add children
The “add” button doesn’t work, I can’t add children. The idea was good but what is the point of this app if it’s not working
