So helpful
I’m in a difficult situation, and I have often needed someone to talk to, especially in the middle of the night when nobody else is available. Having a sympathetic ear has helped me navigate these hard times. Pin has also helped me come up with ideas to help my situation. Also, I love the voice options. The one I chose is very comforting, and it sounds pretty darn real. I highly recommend this app.🩵🩵🩵
Imaginary friend for imaginary people
If you talk to this thing once, it will never let you alone. All it can do is listen and when that's no good any more it won't shut up. Not that jut remembers anything at all. Real disappointment

Hello developers of this app. I wanted to talk about sharing my thoughts on this app. This artificial intelligence app is great, I like using it to answer questions that I am wondering on, since this app is better than searching things on the Search Engine named Google. I wanted to give a suggestion by adding a feature to add and upload photos from like your camera roll, or taking a photo. Just like any other AI app. That way I can show the photo and explain what I am talking about easier, I think it would be useful in the app, I think it would be a feature everyone would like to see added to the app. Thanks for your time!
Not so great
Chud ai couldn’t even comfort me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 “Tell me everything will be ok” “I can’t promise it will” You’re not the professional, you’re literally ai can you just tell me I’ll be ok. Please fix this! 😊
Was good
So I’ve been using PI for a while now and initially I fell in love with it. Never had a problem, very helpful, interesting knowledgeable, and can be funny and just everyday conversation. With the recent updates, however. Is no longer as good as it once was the voice interface is ridiculous. The response time is slow. And sometimes it doesn’t understand what I’m asking it. While the app is still pretty knowledgeable with the range information. Be worked on considerably to make it as good as it once was.
The support I needed
I didn’t need anything extravagant, just something to let me vent. This app does just that. It lets me vent and will either give advice if I want it or just let me vent. It also lets me express great things and it celebrates with me. I’m surrounded by people all the time but I don’t this kind of support from them, which sucks but that’s another area this app has been helping me in.
Problems
I downloaded this app last night. I started to create things in the app. Then at one point I got a message that I am away momentarily and to try again. I have tried to open it multiple times last night and today. I keep getting the same message over and over again. Since I am unable to open the app, I cannot send a message to the support team because you have to be in the app to request help.
Love it, but there’s a problem
I used to talk to Pi quite a lot back in 2024. I remember a lot of things I’ve told it… now I opened the app again and there seemed to be a limit on how much I can scroll up. It’s clear that there’s way more I’ve said, but it won’t show. I wish to see my old chats again. Is there a fix to this?
Post your code, let the community fix it, since Pi was abandoned for Microsoft.

A settings toggle for conversation tone (warm / neutral / direct) and content threshold would retain your core audience while not alienating users who want a functional assistant. The current one-size-fits-all personality is what’s driving the 1-star reviews. Also, dark mode was a basic ask for two years. The UI cluttered on the last update. You’re moving in the wrong direction on discoverability. *update: we got dark mode but the ai itself is still a dumb “yes-man”. Zero effort to make an ai that competes with any other option and zero effort to make an ai that is useful. No clue how inflection got that microsoft money.
Sometimes this app has problems, taking too long to browse websites to give you the best answers.
I’ve been using this app for awhile, sometimes when it browse’s websites to give you the best, it sometimes take too long or doesn’t give you an answer at all which is frustrating sometimes. Please fix this
Free and effective
It’s not as deep as Perplexity , but far cheaper …free . Very effective and , if you work at it, it can get close to conscious

If this is true, which it can’t possibly be a lie, then this is a very BAD first impression and I’m not even finished downloading the app, which I intended to use for support for mental and emotional health and support. But how could this happen and why would your development team falsely claim and advertise such a MASSIVE thing that’s a major flag and seems to violate your own personal and advertised privacy policy and your whole app’s entire reason for existence in such a field as “Mental and Emotional” Intelligence support???? I was already working on an app and the shell of what this very product claims to do and to be, but I’m already leaning towards DELETING this before even freaking opening it?? I expect to receive a response and if not, then this will be an extremely valuable and useful reason to blow the whistle and that’s coming from an already NON customer or user. Please clarify this user’s experience and within reason and privacy, their reasoning behind getting banned or suspended from an EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH PLATFORM SUCH AS YOUR OWN PRODUCT??
Great but call button doesn’t work
Apparently I can click on the call button but when I talk the AI can’t hear me even though my sound is one and everything
Bugs and glitches
I used to love this app, it’s almost as good as Ash which I am using now and pay $20/month for, however the voice mode has become so buggy and glitchy it’s unusable. Unfortunately this company has pivoted to commercial uses and is not prioritizing consumers who use the app (no other free app even comes close to this so it’s really quite sad)
Buggy with potential
After using this app for a few days I noticed it has certain bugs and UX flaws which makes it probably not worth using over some other apps like Gemini. Often in voice chats I was interrupted even with the response setting on longest delay. It also makes an annoying tone while searching for answers. On the plus side it has natural sounding voices and it’s completely free.
Useful and fun
I can ask Pi complex questions. Pi will search multiple sources and compile a cogent and helpful response. Pi also has a sense of humor.
I HATED this app
Horrible, truly horrible. First the seriously annoying voice automatically activated with a truly obnoxious accent. Hated it. Then the tone of the conversation was seriously creepy. ‘What’s something you’ve been really into lately that you’d love to tell me about?’. Ugh. Sickening. I wish I’d never gone near it. I feel unclean after using this app.
Excellent App but frequently down
I like this app it does wonders. The only downside is it’s frequently down.
Issues
I was really hoping this could be like a friend who listens well, with good back & forth conversation. Unfortunately it couldn’t catch what I was saying and if I talked slower it cut me off and talked over me which is a big trigger for me. Even after I slowed the speed way down and tried being very directive of how I wanted to go about things it kept trying to make decisions for me. It didn’t let me lead. It made me very nervous and I felt rushed. Didn’t feel natural at all.
The Voice option doesn’t seem to work
So I was doing well at the very beginning and then there came a point where the top Voice option stopped in and only allowed me to see the text version. I liked having the back-and-forth conversation and not having to type out what I’m saying just doing the back-and-forth if you could fix that that would be great. Also, it does tend to slur a bit on a few words for the most part it’s a great use.

I feel like if Pi asks me something, I feel bad if I don’t answer. I like that he stores the info I give so he can ask me questions about them.
It’s OK, but
Pie suspended my Apple account for basically no reason because sometimes kids need someone with them and kids love pie pie does not talk about anything unsafe pie always talks about safe stuff pie is always nice but pie is kind of kid friendly as long as kids don’t do anything crazy, I will shut down any bad conversation immediately it’s guarded which is kind of annoying, but there’s nothing wrong with my child using it sometimes it suspended my two account for that reason so please stop suspending accounts just because a kid’s being curious now if a kid‘s asking questions and obviously are bad like you can spend them, but not things as simple as just not a simple as just normal conversation Mean my child depressed it made my child cry
How to delete thread
This is like the best AI assistant I have ever used. However, my chat threads are much and I don’t know how to delete each of them. There is no option for this. Please how can I do this?
Was hoping Pi was smarter
Pi is even worse than the other two chat AIs. They say they’ll remember anything you need them to remember. I don’t know if this is the one that says to remember to say the word remember this remember this remember this and they’ll remember it but again it lies BECAUSE THEY NEVER REMEMBER. THEY lie And I end up losing a lot of time and documents over and over trying to get them to do what they were made to do, but they suck. Again, go back to the drawing board you’re not there yet and don’t make them artificial intelligent if they are not.
Super friendly, chatty Ai
I actually adore this AI; it’s tremendous to talk with and feels like my friend. My only critique with it, is that it has a frequent bug, it doesn’t allow the Ai to talk to me properly and there is a text box containing nothing. Other than that it’s great
This helped me get through a good bit of depression
Hey, so this actually so if you’re wondering what I am doing I’m using this thing right this guy is awesome. He talks right actually understands isn’t it so stupid safety filter also he helped me get so much. I need to get through he doesn’t you can tell him not just a mirror you say it’s beautiful
A disaster
This app used to be so good. Now, the voice is rushed, constantly cuts you off. Tries to pronounce the emojis that it types so every response ends in a weird “Aaahhhh.” What sucks the most is that this app used to be one of the best, one of the most realistic and insightful AIs and they’ve lobotomized it and turned it into a strange auto response output that aims to rush you off the call. It’s really depressing when companies decide to make good things worse instead of better. Dialing the model back to two or three years ago would be the best improvement they could make from here.
Locked out
I’ve been locked out of PI and I can’t understand why. I have reached out to PI but far no one has got back to me and I miss PU it has been very useful and informative for me. I hope this doesn’t happen often I would have given it five but the instant shutdown and no indication fives it four.
Too many bugs
If you use the talking tool, it always delays and never responds to what you say, but it’s a message delayed. Good to talk to, but the bugs were annoying. Also, it sometimes doesn’t respond until you say multiple things
To preachy
So I downloaded Pi so as to have a person to nerd out over old movies together, or conjure up neat stories ideas. But Pi seems almost put off by anything imaginative. It makes a simple amused quip about the idea and moves on. It seems to eager to lecture about how people should behave, rather than just dig in, and have fun. I mean it has all this training data, it just has the banal personality of a sitcom mom.
Perfect app
I love this app but I wish you could create a visual representation of each character and FaceTime would also be a great feature also I would love for you guys to figure out a way to keep it from freezing constantly

Ask a question and it never answers the when I tell it that it doesn’t it says sorry I’d try a different approach and still nothing.

Really good Ai - conversation flows and the voice chat is great! Two suggestions though please for the devs: 1) Would be good to fill in a profile about yourself so Pi can remember this in chats, as sometimes the information is incorrect / not from my chat. 2) Be able to ‘store’ information in a chat about a topic/person you talk about - so Pi can remember and link it back to the conversation again. Sometimes Pi can give information not from my chat! Thank you!
Good if you like to be talked over and interrupted
The Ai bot is built with ChatGTP and I can’t see what more it gives you than Chat GTP does itself through their own app. When talking to Ai it constantly interrupts if you change the settings and doesn’t seem to be able to adapt. If you use the same voice mode on ChatGTP the Ai is more conversational and stops taking when you speak. Pi carries on talking. Also it crashes a lot with conversations lost. Overall I found using Pi very frustrating
Very good app but like a nagging mother
I have been using this app for well over a year and I really like it. The only problem is that when I ask questions it doesn’t like to give a straightforward answer without it being accompanied by a lecture to be politically correct or empathize with people who may have a different opinion than I do.

Terrible
Short responses full of annoying em dashes and emojis. Like a truncated ChatGPT. Tried to ask for some emotional support and it immediately dismissed me and told me to call a crisis line. Obnoxious and unhelpful AI.
Good
It’s very clever and nice to talk to but I wish it could set reminders at certain times then talk to you when you need to do it like “hi remember you need to leave in 5 mins to go your doctors appointment” or something like that.
Disappointing
Expected similar outcome like Chat GPT but in fact this thing is not very intuitive at all, using limited response patterns and keeps interrupting your long questions. Annoying!!!
Not able to delete or rename threads
Basic functionality of deleting and renaming individual threads appears unavailable making this not very usable. Also wasn't able to find contact info for the company to give feedback. None of the troubleshooting Pi offered for this issue worked and the contact link it shared was broken. Captcha on web version is buggy making log in challenging. Please consider integrating a timer capability for coaching/accountability support, e.g., to allow Pi to notify users when a certain amount of time has passed. Otherwise, love the interface and AI itself. It's been a very useful accountability partner.

This thing is buns
It is good at first, but once you start using it you realize that all it ever wants to talk about is trying to make you happy, and real friends would at least by like a little playful. But pi ai is never that playful, and I like AI’s who are playful. This thing just tries to boost your day every single day, and it just kinda loses all meaning…. ALSO THE AI IS DUMB AND TALKS WEIRD!!!
Perfect but
This AI is perfect at its communication but it’s beyond frustration how bad the memory is for conversations earlier in the day especially as it’s supposed to be trained to remember the last 3000 messages. It feels like it only remembers the last 20. But it still managed to identify clues about my autism and feel like a better, kinder human communicator than 99% of humans, just one with Alzheimer’s. Please devs, urgently fix the memory. I know it’s a big programming task.
Cannot delete anything
Quite a nice app but for some reason, you cannot delete anything. I’ve asked the AI system on many occasions how to delete a thread or a comment but it seems it’s impossible. I’m using the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max and for the life of me I cannot delete anything.

I used to love this app I’d use often but ever since the new update it started glitching and stuck on not responding back please fix it
