Good enough
Get a Lao SIM card, recommend one from Lao Telecom booth from the airport. Download app and use KOKKOK it’s one of the best way to move around in Vientiane. It’s also probably the cheapest way. You’ll know the price you’ll pay for each ride beforehand. The fare is set by the app. We used it everyday while in Vientiane and highly recommend it vs taxi or tuktuk. No more being scammed and haggling with drivers and having them being mad when you refused to accept their fare/ride. Cons: I noticed drivers tends to ignore rides fare that are less than 20,000kip.

Driver’s didn’t give me back changes
As other reviews have mentioned, several drivers did not return change when I paid with larger bills. The amount was small and I would have tipped it anyway, but not even attempting to give the correct change felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Interestingly, when I was with my European friend, we received the correct change every time. This makes me question whether some drivers treat customers differently. Even KOKKOK is cheaper, I liked LOCA more because I could pay by card and things like this never happened.
Really fast matching and kind drivers!
Used KOKKOK Move while traveling in Laos. Matching was really fast, and all the drivers I met were super kind and helpful. It was also nice to suggest my own price and agree easily. The app is simple to use and logging in with just a phone number was very convenient. Would definitely use it again next time!
Garbage app
This app is garbage even with a Laos phone number it’s impossible to register for a new account

Unreliable
One of the most useless app around. No point in downloading it if the drivers do not accept the rides. Had to use another app to get back to my hotel, otherwise I would be stranded. Do yourself a favor and just download LOCA. It’s more expensive but at least the drivers will pick you up and get you to where you need to go. Very disappointing.
Waste of time
Though the idea it’s great, it does not work. No matter what time of day or night, which pick-up or arrival destination or distance, I never found a Tuk Tuk. It’s a complete waste of time. It’s good for checking on fares in general, but don’t wait for a driver to acknowledge you request.

In the capital there are about 200 cars, but if you click on the service and they don't choose us, go to the new app Indriver. It's 20% more expensive to use, but the service will definitely come to your home.

Simple and convenient application
Everything works conveniently and quickly, I suggest to add auto-fill from SMS. As for the whole experience of use: tuk-tuks are quite cheap and in good condition.
Too hard to set up
I really wanted to use this app as a traveler, so I got a Lao SIM card, but it still will not send a verification code to either my Lao number or my US number. Meanwhile, it took two seconds to sign up with Loca. I’m sure I could solve the problem with Kokkok if I wanted to spend still more time on it, but I’ve given up.
Great service
Get across Vientiane easily, Tuktuk 15min trip for roughly 20,000kip… short trip around 5,000kip.
No US verification
App will not allow new account because it will not send verification code to US number. Waste of time

Can’t use
Im visiting Laos and desperately needed an app to get around. The app will not let me create an account because it will never send me a confirmation code. I have tried over and over and even deleted and redownloaded the app. There is no email option for confirmation so the app is basically useless because I can’t get in.
