Hard to put down once you start.
This word puzzle is hard to put down once you start , with different levels it is suitable for the vast majority of of players.

Terrible app - doesn’t actually give you the number that goes with the letter, and is all ads

Apart from the American spelling this is a brain teaser where you really do need to think!!!!!
Very poor.
This game regularly excludes letters like Q and J etc which is simply lazy. Also the words included are very limited so after a few levels it becomes far too easy to guess them.

I like this puzzle; It helps centre concentration and stimulate creativity; It is interesting that to try a tangible codeword puzzle in a paper feels harder and more challenging. I’d like to have some more challenges ~~ Keep them coming 🥰 PM 4teo hrs❣️❣️❣️💊❣️❣️❣️

One HUGE problem
I really like this game, but having an advert when you press New Game is just stupid. It’s quicker to close the app than it is to wait for the advert.
Personal choice
Love the categories of level, brilliant but I really dislike the adverts every two games played and it takes forever to get out of them! If the App is free, why the Ads?
Used to be great, but sure isn’t now.
Pity. I don’t know what you stupid makers have done, but it seems you’ve spoiled what used to be an excellant word game. I can’t play it anymore as a result.
Love this game
My only complaint is that the timer starts immediately, simultaneous with the advert. Remember to deduct 40 seconds from your final time and that’s your ‘real time’.

I would like to play the game but the ads take up most of the time
Not all is English!
I am now on level five and have found a number of words from other languages, such as zwieback(German). My language is English so I would expect the answers to be of the English language, not African or German. I am giving three stars because of this. Otherwise it is very good on the lower levels.

Continual cookies preferences spoils app
Why do you feel you need to ask my cookie preferences each time I open app? This used to be a great app but it has been spoiled by having to pick out cookies I don’t want each time I load it. If they are not remembered next time I shall be forced to delete app which will be a shame.
Great game but dubious adverts
I have enjoyed this game - functions well with helpful options of extra letter or which ones are wrong. But the banner adverts for a friendship app at the bottom of the screen were creepy and seemed to be aimed at children. I have now deleted the app. Be warned.
Great game, few ads
This is a nice simple app, no bells and whistles, just good sensible gameplay. There are very few ads which is a huge bonus.

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU😡 I have been playing this game for years with zero ad interruptions, and what on earth is this CRAP ABOUT showing letter is wrong, and being able to try another WITHOUT AN IDIOTIC PENALTY!! I am extremely upset, because this was the best app ever for Codewords! Not anymore ‼️🤬
Good way to while away some time
Been playing for about a week. Good app.
Disappointing
Whoever puts this Codeword together is not a native speaker of English. Non-existent forms of verbs, false plurals, made up words to fill a space. The only way to get through it is to work with letter frequencies and disregard words that apparently don’t make sense until you have real words in place, either English or from other languages. Spellings are inconsistent, eg both djinn and jinn are used.

I have played this for a few weeks. Now the puzzles are unsolvable. Seems this is just a way to get advertising dollars. Avoid.

This is an excellent app. Gives you the opportunity to choose grid size, text size and level of ability. Keeps your history and explains definitions.. Brilliant. 👍✅👏

Lousy update
Big, blocky screen when you win, looks like a four year old designed it. Ads pop up now when you start a game and take over the app. You have to play the game to get it to disappear, and the time counts against Codeword play.

Great game - poor vocabulary and dictionary
The gameplay is simple but challenging, efficient and enjoyable. But the words themselves are not sourced from English alone, as you can see when you look some of them up in the horrid dictionary. Look up sarcomata - you get a panel saying English, Noun, sarcomata, plural of sarcoma. Select sarcoma for another panel - this lists Etymology, Pronounciation, Noun, and finally a definition. Fascinating stuff, all of it, but largely irrelevant, and annoying when you know you will never find the word in any other context. Please get a better, English dictionary which caters fro plurals and provides the meaning up front.

Never to late to learn
In my sixties, enjoying the challenges of code word. Able to build skills whilst targeting time improvements. A great way to reuse vocabulary skills that remain untapped once no longer needed for work life challenges.

Can’t play more than 2 games without at least one ad. Sometimes 2 which have 30 second timers so you can’t get rid of them right away. Would be nice to have a paid version to get rid of the ads.
