It’s random, but not how you think
Take a deck of cards, deal out nine hands and then deal out a flop, turn and river. Take a screen shot and add it to the algorithm. Do this as many times as possible and you create a “random” pattern. The only thing random is whether or not the real players will call, fold or raise! Meaning the devs can say it’s random until they’re blue in the face and they’re not wrong. If a site offers the ability to spend real money on fake money, it’s not legitimate. If you wanna play and learn poker, find some buddies or go to a casino. Don’t do it online, it’s NEVER legit!
Almost Great
Game play is as realistic as real life. Cards and hands that get dealt are completely random which provides fair play across the entire platform! However, I have no way to contact the host to ask a question about a specific problem which occurred while entering a 1M buy-in tournament. I used a tournament ticket for the buy-in but the game pulled the funds from my chip count instead; then my ticket expired useless. I would have never played a tournament of such caliber if it wouldn't have been for the ticket that was given to me. Make this right, please help.
Stripping this app down to nothing
How many more times are players going to see Pokerstars taking elements of this app away? I’ve been playing for many years and since Flutter Entertainment bought Pokerstars they have been ruining it. First they took away the Pokerstars Play app and tried to get players to transition to Vegas Infinite which most players on mobile hated. I also played on the Pokerstars Lite app so I migrated over there and continued to enjoy that. Over this last year elements of the Pokerstars Lite app have been slowly disappearing. Rewards, free chips, challenges that never load, games that don’t load, etc. They have been giving players “nothing” in return for their loyalty and now as of June 30th they take away the casino! I notice the real money players get the casino but now play chip players don’t? Not all of us can sit at a table for 30 minutes or play a tournament for 2 hours. The casino was an easy part of the app that players could play for 10 minutes when they didn’t have the time and maybe even win a little since all promotions are gone. What will they do next? Shut down the app? Such a disappointment this app has become. I used to love it here.

Disappearing hold cards
While there are several things I enjoy about PS, the updates with the disappearing hands are terrible. How can I press the cards to hold it down and see them. They should just always show after fold. It’s annoying when updates aren’t tested.
Rigged
After playing for a while on the free tournaments, you will be dealt a losing hand every time. This is to get you to buy chips to continue playing. Remember, you’re playing against a computer program. The optics are great and it’s easy to navigate but good luck winning with winning hands.
Too many forced updates
Ok, it’s a good game but updates come often and you cannot play until doing so.

Unable to set my own preset bet slider options on my iPad there is no option available in the settings tab nor is there a gameplay tab in the settings tab

This site is ridiculous. The algorithm is pathetic. Never seen so many awful hands get rewarded or the absolutely impossible run outs. Also, don’t fall for buying chips to get throwable….every few updates they vanish. Lost 5 or 6 over the years. Great site but the math is delusional…lol
Good but a bug
Good app to play poker on, there are a decent amount of people online often, so the tables arent ever all empty. Though I have a problem, the challenges tab appears as an all white screen for me. I can click on the throwables tab and it appears all fine and good, but not the challenges tab.
Bad Beats Galore
Some of the worst beats I’ve ever seen. Overall a decent app but the hands that are dealt and beats are absolutely horrible 75% of the time.
New layout ??
So I just did an update after about a year of not playing, what happened to the look and feel. Can you have both table looks? This just feels as if I’m playing on an old computer.

It is so completely rigged its unreal. AA loses. King hi flush loses. 2 pairs lose. Draw outs and inside straights galore. Built for drama and to steal chips. C’mon Pokerstars deal legit already!!!!

21 game
The 21 game on my app has been broken for almost 2 months. It keeps stealing the same cards over and over again. I really enjoyed playing 21 here but now I can’t please fix this.
Pop- Up
I see it in the title if the app that this is a “play money” app. When I am in a tournament I constantly get a pop up asking for me to change my settings to allow my location to be known IF I choose to play for real money. This pop up appears regularly. I know it is a data grab and I refuse to give in! It is annoying, otherwise I like this app a lot!

Literally took money out of my account
All of a sudden it gives me that pop-up notification that I have spent $20 on chips. Their customer service tells me I need a screenshot. How am I supposed to get a screenshot without leaving chat, and anyway, the notification doesn’t stay on the screen. So basically they won’t help and I have to take it up with the company that takes my money.

It changed
Always thought it was a great app. I have had it a long time and played regularly. They have changed or added an algorithm to delete your chips it they were not purchased. I have played enough to see it clearly. It makes you wonder what they can do when real money games come to my area. Very sad
Split View (still) being removed is a bummer
Review update. Still no return of Split View for iPad. It’s an expected standard for high quality apps and PokerStars used to have it. Is there a reason the developers can’t work out how to put back in this basic feature? With all the updates I would have hoped that Split View would be enabled again. I enjoy playing PokerStars play money and often do so in split screen while browsing or watching a video. I don’t know if removing split screen capability was deliberate or an oversight however I’d love to see it back if possible.

I like PokerStars but it glitches too much. It always says that the tournaments start in 1 minute even when they’ve been running for a while. This is my only issue with the app

It is difficult to believe that cards are dealt randomly. Too many draw downs that beat genuinely good hands. I haven’t witnessed that in “live” poker games. There will always be bad beats but this is ridiculous!

FRAUD
This game is fun, but it is TOTALLY RIGGED!! Just watched a guy go all in with TRASH (3/5, and 8/6) twice in a row against high cards (which came up on the flip both times), Naturally the guy catches straights two hands in a row (won the previous two hands as well (going all in), but I don’t remember the hands, but he had low cards) - just know they were not good, and he went all in. It’s a joke and it’s completely rigged, I have no doubt. There is a better chance I am the king of the world than some of these hands come ip over and over like that. If you are willing to pay a few bucks to eventually get screwed, this is your game. I get bad beats, but not complete fraud. It’s fun for the hands that BS doesn’t happen, but he prepared to get jobbed!!!
Throwing objects at players is not Poker!
I love playing the game and Poker Stars have designed a great game. But I find the addition of throwing horse shoes, sending rockets etc has ruined the game. I feel it has encouraged violence because not only do players throw things they also get vocally violent. Women are playing this game and I as one of those women find the throwing of objects very offensive! Come on programmers you are better than that! Please can we at least have something nice we can hit our opponents with?

I have benn playing poker for years on various sites and PokerStars imho offers the best format and tabling likeness. I play real games and use PokerStars to practice. Good job guys, can’t wait for you to come back to Oz.

Your algorithms suck! I realize that there is a lot of variance in poker but there are way too many 3% and 1% suck outs. Doesn’t follow true draw odds. I think it a sucker’s game to keep players buying in.
Not legit
I have been looking for a play money poker app that is for real poker players and this one seemed to be it. Just poker without all the bells and whistles and pop ups. However, it is play money but there’s no way to acquire chips without paying for them and to top it off, I’ve had 2 impossible bad luck streaks. I recorded my “all in” hands and calculated the odds of being 2.5 million to one that I’d be that unlucky. Possible but I recorded the next bad luck streaks to be the same. I was losing about 80% of the hands that I had 50-90% advantage on. Becoming obvious the algorithm is pinned against you to force you to buy more chips regardless of how well you play.
Failure to fix account
After continued messages my account remains unfixed and buggy. I can only purchase lowest chip packages which cost a lot more.

Fixed
The games are definitely fixed. I know you can’t control that 90% of the players don’t know how to play. But, these idiots who go all in with 7/2 and equally bad hands win every time. Your pocket A’s are worthless. Plus, casino always has 503 error and is never available. Secondly, the help center is blank and there is no chance to contact customer service.
