Poor Performance Day (8/30 second race)
Today’s app performance is way below what I’m used to. Standings are wrong, pit status very slow. (Indicated PIT two laps after complete) Yellow flag indication a lap late. Tried changing from WiFi to cellular. Still off.
Can only view portrait size now.
I guess there is a new version out. Wouldn’t open so I had to delete and reinstall then it worked but I can only view portrait size now and the previous versions of this app I was able to view landscape. Rotating my iPad does nothing.
Good app
I just downloaded this because I watch indycar but it’s actually a really good app, although it is sorta laggy like you can get live onboards from the cars and their radios, like leaderboard and timing, and full race replays all for free, plus a whole bunch of other stuff like news, videos, and pictures

Need better live race coverage
Good, in-depth app overall. However, it lacks the ability to track live races in app.
Completely useless
In car video completely useless for Milwaukee Race 2. It’s gotten worse over the course of the season, but this is just a waste of time. Disappointing.
Mediocre app
This app is mediocre, at best. Up To Speed is absolutely useless. When there’s a yellow, they post it but don’t explain why.
Great supplement to TV coverage
Great to be able to pull up details on your favorite drivers at any time. Wish they would add a delay feature for the audio/video so I can match the feed from the app to my TV feed. Seems like the app is 20-40 seconds ahead of the TV
In car cameras
I absolutely love streaming race in-car cameras and view options. I do this seamlessley on the cw app for oreilly and the motogp app with a subscription. Indycar is my favorite series and that is why i so absolutely frustrated and fed up with the in-car viewing experience on this app. For YEARS now the indycar in-car stream constantly freezes. We are FINALLY getting an indycar game - maybe it is time to fix the in car camera experience
Videos
When I try to watch the videos on the app, most of the time, it kicks me out of it. But Over all it’s a solid app.
Not suitable for using at a race.
The delay is terrible, rendering this app useless for those at a race. The audio, video, and leaderboard are delayed by 2+ laps at any given time. Even worse, during a red flag rain delay in Milwaukee, there’s more information being posted on X than there is in the app. This app truly isn’t designed to support those at a race.

Has gotten worse
In car cameras have been constantly locking up for the whole 2026 season. Has worked great for years but all my tech reports have been ignored.

Could be better It’s very frustrating having to Log-In every time I open the app, and often times when viewing a race, practice, or qualifying - the app shuts down and I have to Log-In all over again - often missing a key moment on track. FIX THIS INDYCAR!!!

Find the app is really informative and timely. I find it really easy to maneuver and a very solid source of information.

It freezes as the home screen opens 100% of the time! That sucks because I’m going to the race in DC tomorrow!

App is very good all it needs is a subscription for 10 dollars a month you can watch onboards of your favorite driver or whoever you want during the race similar to f1 tv
Doesn’t really want me to use it
I want to sign up for notifications. It glitches when I submit my email. I can see I guess live race timing in the Home Screen, but if I try click into results or any of the news articles the app glitches or just full on crashes. When I try to use most buttons, the app just doesn’t really respond or react. Really the only thing that works is the home page live timing.

Worse than NASCAR's app…
This is one of the worst motorsport apps in the Store. On a race weekend the info provided about the current event is usually outdated or inaccurate. Notifications I ask for never appear on time, meanwhile it pukes out a plethora of notifications about issues I couldn’t care less about.
Still Can Be Glitchy
Even through multiple updates, it still is hit or miss. You receive a notification of an article, click on it and get a ‘page not available at this time’ then 10-15 secs later it populates.

A phenomenal app
INDYCAR has nailed it with this app. It’s so well laid out and easy to navigate! Everything looks clean and works really well! These people know what they’re doing and deserve a pay raise! Well done!
Info good / live telemetry no good
The live telemetry for all parameters - speed, gear, rpm, steering, braking, throttle lags far behind the video feed.
No time zones
Unlike the F1 app you can’t change the time zones if you live in a different country which would be nice if you could do
Fantastic App
Absolutely amazing! This is probably the only app in all of motorsports that allows you to watch live races from the cars’ on board cameras for the entire race without interruption. Heavily underrated app- would definitely recommend to anyone following INDYCAR or even just getting into it.
Terrible
Every race the video doesn’t work. Doesn’t matter which car you choose, you get about three seconds of video then frozen screen. I’ve written support and gotten no response. All the app is good for is the schedule, which I can get anywhere.

This app is really bad. Doesn’t work at all when any practice or events are going on. It used to track historical results from tracks. No more. Clearly an afterthought.
Makes the podium
A very good app. It loads fast and consistently. It’s easy to navigate. Easy to find the standings and information on drivers and teams. And their Indy 101 section will get new fans up to speed on racing’s fastest growing and most exciting circuit. The Live race info is great, although I haven’t tried the audio feed so I can’t comment on that. So all of that gets the app on the podium. Well done. Generally they seem to finally be getting everything right at Indycar. It’s a great time to be a fan. But if they want to drink the milk, I’d like an option to purchase a live race streaming subscription. Like MLB. Include historical races. I’d love to see some of the classic races from the 60’s if it’s possible. However, forvwgat it is, this is a great app. Well worth the price! :)
The fans deserve better
This app consistently disappoints. It always glitches during a race, making watching driver onboards impossible. The format is difficult to use and there is no way to learn more about the drivers. If INDYCAR wants to grow it’s fan base, this needs to be fixed!

As a racing fan, was thinking the Verizon Indy app was going to be much like the NASCAR app, and was very disappointed that I have to be on the Verizon network to see any live feeds I am Canadian and don't have access to Verizon

Loving the app and ability to watch live driver views. Would like to see actual broadcast live too, even if it’s hosted by Fox or other networks.
Audio is beyond low
App won’t play through BT connected external speakers or headphones. It’s impossible to hear any driver and team communications.

The app does not connect to headphones. They is no radio play by play. Make it more like the nascar app
