No Bi-Monthly Payment.
Does not offer a bi-monthly option to pay down your mortgage instead of pay in full every month. Very disappointing.

Decent App but no faceID for login
Does the basics.
I literally just need to pay my bill, which it does - but I DO NOT NEED the absurd pop up “do you like the Provident Funding app?” This isn’t freaking Candy Crush. Are you trying to boost your star rating by ramming it down people’s throats? Don’t do that.
I don’t want paperless!!
This is a really well designed and built app in general. But every time I open it it asks me to go paperless. I don’t want to go paperless. The only options are Now or Later. There isn’t a never option.
Provident app
Great app. Very helpful.
Not flexible
First loan company I’ve ever dealt with that won’t allow you to change auto draft date for payments. Such a dumb way to do business. Creates headaches when people get paid on certain days.
Where’s the calculator?
I liked the calculator on the old app. Very easy to figure out savings with additional payments to principal.
Lack of payment options
It is absolutely absurd that you cannot make bi-monthly payments with autopay. It’s even weirder that you cannot do it without autopay. So disappointed my mortgage is now through provident.
Works but needs to be updated
Works ok - but the app looks like it was created in 2010 and never updated since
God app. Easy to use
We've had our mortgage with Provident for years. I can get complete, prompt detail on the app any time.
App is so boring!
App is too old. Ten years ago technology. It is so boring. Need to change. I’m very serious about the comment if you want customer to use it.

Needs to work in landscape mode
Good app except it won’t work in landscape mode. Necessary for iPad users. Please UPDATE! July 24, 2020. Updated but still no landscape mode

No Face ID, doesn’t work with 1Password’s autofill, not updated for new iPhone screens. It does its job well enough though.
Amazing app
Such a huge improvement over time. It was good before but it was kind of slow. Now it is very fast and also information got a huge improvement on providing all pertinent information and making easier to get what you need to find out!

Worried about the security of this app. It is obviously very old and needs an update.

I think this app is truly amazing. My husband did everything that had anything to do with the paperwork of life. When he unexpectedly died and I was clueless it was horrible to not understand things that were very simple to a lot of other people! This app is so easy to navigate and makes me feel accomplished to be able to apply extra principle payments! Love it!
Doesn’t support modern phones
App Store rules require supporting all screen sizes. This app does not, which makes it in violation. Were it to update without addressing this or be introduced as a new app today, it would be rejected. Further, performance and functionality is poor. I do not trust this app to be secure with it being so outdated and clearly no active development team behind it. UI design that looks like it hasn’t been updated since the app was first created 7yrs ago. Seems reasonable when looking at the update history. If you have no intentions to keep this app running well, you might as well delete it and stick with mobile website support only. The website is already more useful than this app...
Could use a refresh
The app is simple and nice to use but could use a refresh to newer standards and to actually fit the bigger screens

We’ve been using this app for years and it’s been easy to use and had everything at my fingertips. Easy to navigate, make payments and locate documents. Highly recommend this app.
Definitely needs Touch ID!
App is ok but with complex passwords on a phone, Touch ID is must have.

Needs to use Face ID though. Can’t believe it’s 2019 and I still have to remember a password!!

Banking Apps can be confusing and have lots of bugs this one is detailed but easily navigated. Payments, Taxes and information easily accessible .
User Experience is Important
While the app is functional, it’s got the UI from the iPhone 3 era. Makes me also wonder if they’re using antiquated security.
All I need on demand
I have been using the app for several years. Whether applying for a refinance or checking my balance it’s simple and easy to navigate. My favorite feature is the amortization schedule. You can try out different scenarios on your current mortgage payment to see how it will affect the future savings. Powerful tool at your disposal. I have recommended Provident to all my friends. They always have great rates and simplify the process.
App need an overhaul
Need to revamp the app as it looked very suspicious and no one would know it for sure.
