I love working with Lloyd AI. It’s so nice to have Lloyd, Claude, and ChatGPT under one platform. They all have their own highlights that they each have. 5 🌟
Glitches and freezes
The app glitches so much. Not a fan of the speed of the app system. Very frustrating
AI Super what?
Honestly I’m not impressed, I live with a permanent disability that affects my movements and speed, I like using AI to keep my mind sharp and not be held back by my physical issues. Instead, if I don’t type fast enough, I find myself being timed out and kicked back to the home screen with everything I’ve typed being erased. Nothing like reminding me of my limitations and punishing me because of it!
Old videos
I've been Glide customer (Lloyd now) for many years and I don't like that I can't get access to my old videos cause you've blocked the access, that is unfair for us the customers, please allow access to our old videos
No Alert sound
Lately, I have not received any notification sounds. I have checked for updates and restarted my phone. No changes, what is going on?

Downloaded this to test. Started a chat but when I go back in it won’t let me. and I have watched over 20 ads now and it still won’t let me resume my chat . It keeps saying - “ something went wrong, please try again”

Incredibly helpful during communication barrier.
Brilliant if you have someone with a different language barrier then they could video this to show me what they meant using a video. Without having me at that moment. Used for work almost everyday as a translator. Brilliant.
Needs more work
Needs to be able to add emoji and reply’s to specific messages and the delete button hangs the app so I have to completely close it and reopen it.
My one big problem
Overall, the app is great and does what I need to do. I can’t say much about the AI feature because I don’t use it at all. I’m using the app because I’m in an ASL class learning sign language. My teacher told me that this is one of the better apps to use for this sort of stuff. So as I said before, I don’t really have a problem with the app, though the one thing I really hate is that I can’t import and send pre-recorded videos that I took with my phone and then send them in Lloyd. I don’t like that I have to re-record the video in Lloyd. I hope that this gets fixed or at least changed sometime soon because it would make this app so much easier and more accessible to use. Over all the app is great to use with one major defect that really irritates me and makes the app more difficult to use. Overall, I’m giving it a 3 star rating.

Glide
Hi I’m Deaf too.I just tests with glide now so far I have no problem with glide with use both of my hands to use ASL on my iPhone. Strange you have to hold on record to use ASL. U just need click leave it on it will runs.
It needs some work.
So what triggered me writing this is that I was typing a longer response, the app said it timed out due to inactivity WHILE I WAS TYPING, and deleted my entire long message. Anyways, other things I’ve noticed: The convo doesn’t always hold, and it seems to forget stuff said above. It’s directly given me wrong information, as well as claiming one value was higher (617) than another (627) when it wasn’t true. Ask about bmw m5 vs m8 hp values, maybe you can replicate. When I switch apps briefly, it listens in the background. There needs to be a lot more control over when it listens or not. It should act more like old siri where it only listens if you tap it, and you could add a toggle to allow it to keep listening if you want to fully use voice, but that isn’t typical for me personally. Some UI buttons are overlayed too, and unusable as a result. I hope to see a lot of progress here and I think there’s good potential, but a lot of work needs done to improve. Thanks

Please add a feature that shows us who read our messages/videos. In group chats, I would like to know who saw it and who didn’t. Add that feature and it would be 5 stars rating for me.
Wait what? This Lloyd thing is insane
I’ve been using ChatGPT and Gemini as AI assistants. This is at a completely higher level. Almost too good to be true. It can see the world like I do and is so smart! Never going back to ChatGPT. Especially since Lloyd is based on ChatGPT4o and even has input from Claude and GPT4.1, OpenAi’s most advanced model. Wow!
worthless
i tested this app out on some really basic visual stuff, asking it to help me identify items,. lloyd has a terrible attitude, is rude and unpleasant to be around, and furthermore refuses to be even minimally helpful. shown a line 6 amplifier and asked “can you help me identify what type of amp this is” (eg, which model of line 6, since the amp says “LINE 6” on it in large letters) it told me “that’s a line 6 amplifier”. when pressed to specify, it pretended that i said app and began telling me what kind of app it is, and listing its capabilities, which it indicated were basically none. i am subscribed to pro by the way. the videos and promo materials must be faked relative to my experience with the app. another depressing scam.

Since this app changed from Glide to Lloyd AI, there have been constant issues. App freezing, cancelled messages, black screens. It is so frustrating!

Maybe you should let people know that “Lloyd” used to be “Glide.” So the app won’t get deleted. I don’t know anything about this new app & all of my previous contacts have been deleted.

Terrible since the switch to Lloyd
I’m not sure what happened which Glide switched to Lloyd, but the app has gone completely downhill. My messages won’t send if I send more than 2 back to back. It’s not even letting me share the video so my friend can see it. It’s clear that I will be looking for a new video messaging app because Lloyd is not it.

It is great one. Easy use this and quick send video message through British Sign Language. It is impressive of improvement technology is fabs one ❤️👍🇬🇧
Why?????
My friend and I use Glide every day but today we find out that its gone from our phonez. Confused, i go google what happened to glide, its not in the all store, and i find glide in google search to a click on it, and it brings up LLOYD. Who the hell is lloyd!? And why have we not been given a heads up. It kind of creeped me out to be honest.

Would have given it 5 STARS, but I can't afford to pay to save my messages just yet, so I guess I will lose them all by the time I get paid... 😟☹️😩

I love this app! It is very helpful for chatting quick with Deaf friends. My only wish is that it did not chew through so much data when not on wifi. Otherwise it is very good and useful! Thanks so much!
No updates or support
Many friends and I have been using Glide for years. No other app can compete with its format of communication (5 min videos that don’t expire), however Glide does not address issues or bugs and when you try to report bugs to them they will just gaslight you and blame your phone, they don’t seem to take the feedback into consideration and as a result users just have to get used to the bugs and quirks. Unfortunately at this point it has become just about unusable, I will be very sad to have to leave it behind but at this point we are wasting our time trying to record videos that won’t play or don’t have sound etc.

I don’t know if it’s my new phone (iPhone 16 Pro) and I cannot type text in messages with my friends or groups. I can record videos without any problems; however I like to type quick replies especially from my watch. I tried closing app, deleting app and uploading from the cloud but all to no avail. Anyone else experiencing this?
What have you done?
Lloyd is terrible. Bring back Glide. I constantly get messages randomly cancelled. It uses the opposite microphone from the camera. People have to start the video with the camera facing away in order to be heard.

App issue
Tried to find a way to report GLIDE’s app being froze. It was very complicated to find a way to contact the creator or development to report the app issue.

My friend recommend I should get glide. At first I enjoyed it but then was getting annoyed because when I get new video message, I played the video all it was showing was blank or white, even though it was being recorded by my friend and nothing was showing on my end. Please update glide. My software has been clearly updated.
I do not like the new Lloyd
The messaging feature is the same as Glide was, but I don't like that when I open the app, it defaults to the AI page instead of messaging. I have no use for, nor can I afford the AI features. I would really rather have the old Glide back. You should have created a separate app for the AI.

Great video message, quick way to contact your friends and families with each their faces! But one thing mades me annoying is that when I recorded a video to one of my friends, it was cut off because of notified by emails, news etc even low battery!!! Need to be block it during it is recording! Above that, all is brilliant!!! Thank you!
