What’s going on
I’ve used this app since 2017 and it was the main app i used for editing, but for MONTHS it’s been glitching out?? It won’t let me upload videos because it will be stuck on the loading screen and when i close out of the app, it won’t even let me open the project. I always have to turn my phone completely off and turn it back on, which is rediculous. I looked at recent reviews and it seems like i’m not alone in this. I really thought it’s something wrong with my phone, but it’s actually the app. Is this a way to force users to buy the pro app??
Could be better
Sometimes buggy
now unusable
I've used this app since 2018 and have had pro for that entire time. It's a very basic and bare-bones video editor that i only use for it's simplicity. But for months now, the app has been completely unusable. It can't import videos or audios at ALL, and if anything IS already imported into the project, trying to exit will get you stuck in a loading loop for all of eternity until you force-close the app. And then after you do that, you can't even open the project again, because loading the videos will once again get you stuck loading, making the project inaccessible. It's not an issue with my connection, my phone, my storage, and it's not a one-off or rare glitch. It's been like this for months, and it makes the app competely useless. Sad that I have to give it up after 8 years of being dedicated 🤷

I have been using this app for years!
I started as a munchkin learning on the free version for over a month and the bought pro. That is when I dedicate so much to my journey as an editor. It helped me vent and show off my skills. My anime account on YouTube is Zamarathebunnygirl. So look up my work to see the magic in real time.
Ur ap fucling sucks
4 typos my gf hating on e but ur app sucks ur fault im drunk
Good app but I have a question
I love this app and used it for years but I have a big problem/question that I haven’t been able to get the answer to. When I go to move the images I picked there seems to an auto snapping feature that stops me from getting the position I need and overall is slightly ruining the app experience for me. Is turning off this snapping feature possible? If so how? I mean this in a purely positive way I very much enjoy and recommend this app to other people all the time ^^
Buggy as hell
Been using this app since 2016 and it’s always been a bit buggy, but as of recent it’s been so visceral I can’t edit anything anymore. I’m crashing out rn I’m so fed up.
Glitching
Its GLITCHING AS HELL.
Love app
Love the app, but the glitch issues had to be fixed. Can’t upload videos to edit anymore. I’ve used the app for years. Please fix it.
Does not let me insert any videos
Whenever i export one video and later on i try to make a new one i cant insert any clips even when i restart my phone
Like it but..
Can you guys add physical effects??
Love the app, but please update it
This app is amazing. I use it very often to edit all of my videos, but it needs to be updated so lagging and glitches out on me all the time, I have a brand new iPhone, and I still don’t know why it’s tripping out, please update it or fix it. Other than that the app is great.
Just a tiny problem
This app is amazing!! I think I already made a review before but I just think this is important (At least for me) I create videos, like animations. A problem I’ve been having is that sometimes when I use the cut/split feature, there’s a gap between the two that were just cut? Difficult to explain. But this is giving me problems because I think my video is looking amazing but suddenly for like a second everything disappears then comes back. It’s worst when I use more than 1 layer and suddenly something in the background just turns into the void then comes back after a second. I hope there’s a way to fix this!! This app is amazing for editing but this problem is honestly getting annoying.
Great for simple editing
I’ve been using this app for years. I got the pro version years ago and I love that I still have access to pro to this day.
Big bug
Not sure what’s been going on but when I’m trying to upload videos from my camera roll to edit, the app loads and won’t stop loading. Then I try to open my camera roll and my videos won’t load either. I’ve read that it could be my iCloud but I pay to have a TB of iCloud and my iPhone is up to date. The internet says it can’t be a virus iPhones traditionally don’t get viruses. So it has to be the app. Not sure if anyone else is getting this issue. I’ve tried restarting my phone and it rarely does anything. This has happened way too many times where I need to reach out to the developers to help me identify this issue. Maybe my phone is old but it’s an iPhone 14, it’s not that far behind is it? Everything else works fine on my phone..I doubt it’s that.
Great but…..
I love cute cut soooo much it’s an amazing app! Thank you for the wonderful app! One thing they need is a green screen, but if they have it PLEASE someone tell me how to use it!? Also if you want to make it longer than 30 seconds you HAVE to pay
Xesedrffghhmjmkhyfddf
It’s ok it couldn’t put sound I might be wrong check
Great Editor but…
I have been using your app for awhile, it is simple and easy to use. Tho I keep running into an exporting error where the video would be stuck exporting forever and the app freeze. Closing the app makes the video project then load forever and I have to redownload then redo everything. I hope this can be resolved soon, and then I can bump my review up to five stars
Such a good way
Such a good way for kids to be themselves and a movie star
It’s ran its course
The app no longer works. Can’t upload any videos and resetting the app does nothing.
Lovely app but need for a feature
This app is fully functional and great for editing. I think that making the app auto remove gaps on the editing timeline will be useful for mobile users with limited space.
laggy
dose not allow to me add video. it works for photos but not video clips
Most recent update broke export features
Great editing app, but the most recent update has caused it to give an “error code -18” every time I attempt to export a video, rendering it pretty much unusable. I hope this issue is fixed soon.
The best of the best
Absolutely the best video editor I have used on my iPhone.
Unusable
Too bad
Like it
Difficult to get the hang of but overall really good.
Fix your app
For some reason the update you did has completely broken down how the app works, I can’t even export stuff correctly anymore. Nevemind the fact it crashes every time I open it. Please fix your app
Missing features
I’ve lost the ability to use only the audio from a video when selecting it and can’t find it anywhere in the options.
Rust
Best for stretch res saved my life
Please fix this app.
I’ve been using Cute CUT since 2015 without any major issues, lately I can’t select videos from my gallery and import them into the app due to lag. Refreshing the app doesn’t work either. It’s currently not functional on iOS. The app started working for about a month, then the recent bug fix broke it again. Please fix this app, it used to be very reliable. :(
Ehh..
Well, it’s great for videos but I can only have my edits for 30 seconds..
Used to Work Well
There’s always been a little jank to cute cut pro but it’s gotten to the point to where what I’m watching in the app compared to what I download afterward, rendering the whole thing pointless
Why would you change it?
I wanted to re download this app. i’ve already payed for my subscription when the app was before and now i have to pay for the new one? it’s so rubbish honestly. why would you even change the app when everyone loved the old one so much more. Won’t be using this again 😐 you claim to “update it” but all you’ve done is made it worse.
Broke
Can’t even import a video
Won’t Load More than one video
This use to be my go to app now i can not even load more than once video without it stop working. why is this not getting fixed?
Needs fixing
Been using for a few years and have pro but recent update made it harder to use. The editing is harder and the bottom of the screen no longer moves while video is playing which makes it difficult to do precise editing. Please fix
Recent update issues
Have used this app for over 5 years and not had too many issues however this current update has made the audio and videos in my edits completely out of sync which makes them useless at the moment. It is pretty frustrating given the time and effort put into them, I hope this can be resolved.
Some progress
It’s hard to work with at the beginning especially for me because I’m a gachatuber and I needed apps like tjis for tweening. But once you get the hang of it it’s great-!
love this app but…
i’ve been using this app for years now and i bought the pro version over six years ago. my biggest issue is icloud storage. no other editing app struggles with my icloud library like this app. it takes forever to load my videos and my projects . i do appreciate that it does this to save storage *i think* but it takes way too long to load and it makes the app unusable for me. the speeding up of videos isn’t the smoothest either, and i wish the pitch would go higher so i could match it to the speed of the video.
Functionless Since The Update (Looking for Alternatives)
It’s a shame, really. This and CCPro used to be the best video editing apps I knew (even being far better than Capcut, at least on mobile), but ever since that damn update it’s just been. Completely broken. I kept going though, hoping that someday it might receive an update that would fix everything and make it work like it used to, but somehow it kept getting worse. Nowadays I can’t import more than one item without the app just completely bricking itself — and not only does the app break, it somehow manages to break ALL of iCloud, meaning I can’t access ANY of my saved videos until I fully reset my phone (which. gets really tedious and really frustrating really REALLY fast). At this point I’ve given up hope entirely, and I advise the rest of you to do the same. If ANYONE has any alternative video editing apps that function similarly to how Cute Cut used to (before becoming a broken mess), PLEASE let me know.
Having Problems
I bought the premium version, which is great, but I didn’t expect it to be so crash-y. When it updated though, I thought it wouldn’t happen again. But it still is. It seems whenever you upload a certain amount of footage and editing onto a project, it gets a low memory warning and then crashes and goes back to the home screen. I can’t even open it anymore without it crashing. It’s so frustrating because I need this project and I’ve paid money for this app. I’ve spent hours working on it and now I can’t even export it. Please helpppp. :(
This app is sweaty ballsacks
You literally cannot do anything without it crashing it won’t let me export or add new photos Or duplicate items,, without it crashing 😭😭😭
Great app but..
I have used this app on and of a lot over the past 2 years but I for the past year or so every time I use it and try to animate it will glitch and exit u out of the app and delete ur progress is this just me or anyone else- and I get have a good device so i know it ain’t my iPad so

Doesn’t work!
It lags so much!I also doesn’t let me upload my own music! This is so bad!
my opinion
ok so first! This is a very good app for making vids and tweening this made me really good but the reason why I gave 4 stars because of the price of cute cut pro it’s like £5-£6 and you can make the price smaller. Honestly it’s a good app anyways I got confused of the lines of the tweening and know I know how to tween am so so happy thank you for making this app it really helped me alot!
Too expensive.
Basically, i was about to export when i saw it said something like “you need to purchase pro to export videos longer than 30 seconds” which first off, thats just half a minute, and the price of pro is like £4-5? in my opinion, way too expensive just to export something longer than half a minute, could you please add a feature so people can export things to at least 5-8 minutes? It would help everyone out and help me make my videos! Many thanks if you add it.
yas
been using this app to edit on for like 5 years and it’s been decent. there is obviously less features than other editing apps but it is still good as a for simple stuff. only major issue is that the app for some reason does not take up my whole screen? i have an iphone xr and there are too wide black bars at the top and bottom of the screen when i open cute cut- it’s as if the app is squished and the interface is the size of a smaller phone? hard to explain but yeah PLEASE FIX THAT BC IT MAKES EVERYTHING SMALLER AND HARDER TO WORK WITH. also a redo button would be cool.
