Arithmetic your terms…
…really nice calculator for macOS.
Full of annoying popups now
After recent update there are CONSTANT popups reminding you to give the devs money for a calculator even AFTER you bought it. They made the widget super laggy too, it just gets worse and worse with every update.
One time purchase now requires a subscription
I purchased this calculator and have enjoyed it for years. It was advertised as one-time purchase. Now with the latest version it is popping up a subscription authorization screen every time I press the equals button asking for a subscription. It has also disabled a lot of the unit conversion functionality. You can’t offer a product as a one time purchase and then years later after the sale come back requiring me to pay you more money. If this is not resolved soon I will delete the app and never purchase anything else from this developer. UPDATE: this has been fixed and is no longer requesting a subscription. Thanks for fixing this. I will update my review.
Pop ups are getting aggressive
And annoying. You do realize the Apple calc is free? Stop with the pop ups and asking for money all the time! I’m deleting this app. Using my Apple calc is free and no ads
Gets in its own way
A calculator should just be a calculator. That is what this was for about 10 years. Unfortunately now every few times I use the app and just want to do a quick calculation I get a prompt about why I should upgrade to the new premium plan or something. I don’t agree with the new monetisation strategy for this app (I will pay a one off premium price, but I will not subscribe to a calculator), but I appreciate the developer is not forcing long-time customers to upgrade. However, everything is geared towards encouraging you to do that. For that reason, and because I’ve never really liked the interface, I will be moving on.
One of the finest
One of the finest (if not the finest) calculators in the App Store. Too many amazing and useful functions to list here. Just download it, and see for yourself.
Subscription
Used it for a long time until they required a subscription from me today. Pass.
Math friend
A mathematical companion that goes every where with me and is accurate at doing simple or complicated math
Widget
Didn’t find the widget for iPad nether for iPhone
Best Calc
Best one I’ve found yet, but no hex dec bin conversions. Seems to only have hex, and no way to enter hex, only converts dec to hex, one way.
Wonderful app
Love the app, love the devs. Seriously underrated app and you should buy it! You won’t regret it. In addition, its nice that siri can use the app for calculations via dictation, and then you can pull up the app with one click. Love the widgets too. If I had one suggestion, I wish that it was more similar to a TI-84 calculator, only in the sense where I could see that last 3-5 calculations. I would find it much more useful than only being able to see one present calculation.
Subscription
I bought this app years ago when there was no Apple calculator app on the iPad. Now all of a sudden CALC Smart Calculator wants to charge me a subscription fee. For what? It doesn’t do anything better since I bought it. And it doesn’t do anything that the Apple Calculator does already. Total Ripp-Off! I’ll just delete it from my iPad.
Great App But Looks Meh!
Best calculator app I’ve found, but unfortunately marred by it’s appearance. Can we get a few themes that weren’t designed by someone with terminal depression? And maybe show thumbnails against each theme so you can choose the least bland? Yes I know there’s a Custom setting, but it’s very limited.
升到ios10后，软件运行很慢。反应跟不上节奏.。太慢了。是5S机型望改进。
反应太慢了反应太迟钝了。很无力
Order of operations
6 ÷ 2(2 + 1) = 1 not 9 Remember PEMDAS?
Use it daily
It has the features I need. I use it daily.
In what world does a calculator need Location permission Garage man!!
Uck, yuck, definitely gross a simple app overstepping its need to data mine vs it’s need to be customer friendly and act appropriately to be ethical and honest SaDlY this isn’t the case here 🥲🤮😨🤥
I just downloaded the app and……
Does it compute mortgage payments with term of the loan, interest, rate, and loan amount?
What do I have to say?
It's a calculator...that's it...that's all it is.
运行不流畅
在切换多任务界面时会有明显的卡顿，运行不流畅。其他情况下一切正常。
Best App!
Calc is a great, easy to use app. I use it every day: investment performance, interest calculations, and simple add, subtract etc. much better that separate calculator..
Why did you change the design.
I loved this app and have used it for many years. It was perfect. However, with todays update the design has changed. The numbers for the calculation and answer section are huge! The number keyboard was made smaller and I am typing numbers and functions incorrectly because of the change. Who asked for this? Please change it back to the original version.
Superbe
Superbe
Cool but poorly executed
Reverse button is too small. Reset button is too small. Also if your going to do this then make the buttons bloody responsive?! Because they are not atm. I recommend and other calculator app to this one
Es ist nicht schlecht
Rechner funktioniert gut, aber Design ist nicht so gut, etwas umständlich die Bedienung
Excellent App
I use this calculator all the time with excellent results!
Issue with calculations
Up until recently this was the best calculator by far. Something happened recently and now the app can’t do proper calculations. Sometimes, randomly the calculator will add needless decimal places. And example recently was 12.5 x 8.6 returned a result of 107.49999999. Please fix this!
Très bonne application

Annoying
Keeps telling me to write a review!
Calc
Ganz gut habe mir jedoch mehr erhofft...
Calk. Hip-hip!
!
Ugh I just want to do math
I have used this calculator for a number of years. However the most recent update throws up a dialogue that I’m supposed to swipe down to close but it doesn’t close and now I can’t do any kind of math to save my life! ~~~~ I received a dev response email today. I can’t tell who is being lame here. iIs it Apple because I only received the email about the developer response today, Oct. 2018? Or is it the developer because they somehow backdated their response, which is dated the day after I posted this review. I suspect it’s both! And restarting the app I didn’t help! You had a bad update own it!
Great feature
the function which it provide are easy and help in calcutaion soon.
Ganz okay
Einer von vielen Rechner - und da auch einer der besten. Allerdings ist die "deutsche" Übersetzung eine absolute Frechheit und nicht zu lesen.
Nice soft
Fine
The best casual calculator hands down…
I use this app every day. I’m the chief physicist for one of the biggest hospital systems in my country.
Downloaded
It doesn't download since two days !
Almost great
Underlines under all the numbers has to go (iOS 7.1 thing).
A step back
The previous version was brilliant. But, this new version has an ugly icon and an unnecessary and poorly executed timer function. This is definitely a step backwards.
Nervt
Ständige Bewertungsaufforderung nervt !!
Love it!
As someone who is bad at math, I rely on a calculator for the simplest equations. I love this app because I can see what I’ve typed in written out as I go, so in case I make a mistake I can go back and fix it.. I always use it instead of the calculator that comes with my iPhone.. it’s perfect for my iPad too!
Bug filled
Many bugs, including calculation bugs that can give you wrong answers! Copy/share is a joke, adding a bunch of useless junk into your paste buffer.
Really good, actually
I can confirm that I've seen a few mistakes in the converter/app like the other reviews say but, not gonna lie, I still prefer this over the standard apple iPhone calculator. Changing rating from 5 stars to 4.
Calculates Trigonometry wrongly
Still this app cannot do trigonometry in DEG mode correctly. What a shame. Try asin(0.5) You do not get 30 degree. But some nonsense due to faulty programming. I already reported the bug but no reaction. Who is programming this? Please correct. Its not seriously usable this way.
Widget needs sorting
As a calculator, this is awesome. Although the widget on my iPhone 6 is totally broken
Nice but could use improvement
I use this APP as a basic calculator but it could be much more if: 1) you could easily clear the accumulator and any operating stack at once. 2) swap the contents of the accumulator and a memory location. 3) clear everything at once for a clean start. Thanks for the nice looking and good UI APP! S. Johnson
bug in iPad version
every time I open app, prompts me to rate it.
Not bad!
Not bad!
Bad
Scientific notation doesn't wory
Alright, a bit buggy though
Good for quick, simple calculations, though arctan(x) spits out the results for tan(x)... Need to watch out for errors in the calculation algorithms.
