Birthday 🎂 Countdown
Love this app. You can also reset the time for the same event for next year.
Very provocative temu ads.
I’ve never been on temu in my life. Nor do I plan to. Won’t be using the app anymore. There’s plenty out there. Don’t need you guys.
Works fine, but The ads are intrusive
Works fine, but The ads are intrusive. They obscure the lower third of the screen
Lost everything; wallpaper not working
I used this app for years. Loved it. But I recently started getting a ‘Sync error’ message, whatever that means. I sent an email asking what it means; no response. Now all my events have disappeared. I was able to restore them from ‘Recover my events’ in the app settings, but I can’t get my custom wallpaper to work. They appear in the library, but don’t carry through to my event. And now I’m getting the ‘Sync error’ message again! Even though the latest update, which seems to be all about iCloud, suggests that’s been fixed. Very frustrating! I’m thinking things should have been left alone. I’m now looking for a different countdown app.
Something I noticed
The app is almost perfect except there is times now when you are in the app, it struggles to load when making a new date. Not sure why but that wasn’t the case since more than a year ago.
Hi Ho West FLYING W WRIGLEY
Counting the days til I leave for LQ
Ads
Too many ads and a sync error that I don’t understand
Mostly love it!
I love that this app helps me stay focused on all the exciting things I have to look forward to! It does have some glitchy-ness at times and right now I can’t figure out how to resolve the sync error that just started recently. I also just paid to remove the ads because they were getting annoying but $1.99 seemed worth it for how often I use this app! Overall, I am happy with this app and I’m grateful that it reminds me that life is good and full of things to celebrate and be excited about!
Sync error
Perm showing sync error even after this update 🤷♂️
App has went downhill
All I get on my countdown is sync errors
Simple and Clear
Simple and straightforward countdown
Suddenly All Dates Were Erased
I have had no complaints whatsoever about this app until a few weeks ago when every one of my countdowns was deleted. Not terribly helpful, to be honest.
Fun app
This is a fun app I use to count down to trips or events. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t delete all the events…there always needs to be one thing you’re counting down to…unless I’m missing something, which may well be! I enjoy checking the countdown…especially to our cruise vacations!
Reset to factory
Opened my app today and all of my timers are gone. :( I’ve used this app for 10+ years with no issue. Can they be restored?
Works but gives sync error
Meh
The best
Why is Countdown Star the best? It goes five days hours minutes seconds and even months and counts down every single second. So crazy. Countdown Star is the best app. I totally recommend.
Terrible since last update
Countdown freezes after on screen with individual countdown event. You have change between months and years in order to restart it then it stops
Recent Issue
I love the app! However recently have “sync error message “ pop up on the app. Why is this happening?
Had to delete
Had the app for years but in the last two months it has complete deleted all of my dates twice.
New update August 20/26
Just updated the app and now when you open the app it says sync error. I rebooted the phone and it says the same thing each time. iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Great timer
Banner commercials are fine to use this app for free. Our family loves to use this app to countdown exciting events.
Randomly cleared all my countdowns
Been using this app for almost 10 years and out of the blue 3 weeks ago the app crashed and all my previous and ongoing countdowns disappeared. I contacted app support but never heard back. Upset cause I had important dates in the app and now I’ve lost them.
Personal opinion
I like the app which I have been using for the past many years. You changed the font to be extra large. It would be nice for us to choose our own font. Other than that it’s a great app for a countdown
Keeps deleting my countdowns
Nice app, looks good. Simple. But every countdown i make gets deleted. I’ve made a “countdown to Halloween” like four times, a countdown to the fall equinox twice, and when I go back a few days later to check them, they’re gone. I used to use this app previously, and did not have this problem,
Countdown 3 Stars
A COUPLE OF FLAWS: I can’t get rid of the “sync error” prompt that keeps showing up at the bottom of my countdown. Also, I like there to be a way to adjust how a custom wallpaper shows up as a background image.
Love this app
I love keeping track of when my next vacation is, always good to have something to look forward too.
Glitches
Keeps saying sync error every time I open the app !
Good
I like this app but when you add new items it doesn’t automatically put them in order and I’d like soonest event to be seen when opening, easy to use app.
Erased data
I don’t know why but all my data is gone. I had 3 different count downs and a count up. It was there a week ago. Now it’s all gone. Had this app for almost 4 years…. I deleted the app.
Used to work…
I’ve used this app for years. Recently it began to show a message that it wasn’t syncing. I contacted support but no reply. Today, the app opened and showed no countdowns! I lost all of them! Very unhappy about it - especially that there is no support! I’m not going to pay again for it so will have to delete it.
Love it
Been using this app for years to countdown to events and love it
Suddenly changed
Used this app for a couple of years. Recommended it to many friends. Had 25 entries. Some very important. Two weeks ago all but 3 entries disappeared. No answer from support. Don’t recommend it.
J’adore l’utiliser!
Ça me Motive à garder le cap face à des dates importantes!
Constant sync error
I constantly get a sync error and my Apple Watch should be able to connect but can’t do that either
Recent update 👎
I liked the countdown display and I liked that it counted up after the event passed. But the last update wiped out everything I had saved. Really disappointed that happened :(
🙏🏽
thank you! for listening and fixing the issue! 🫡
Long time user disappointed with changes
I’ve recently (in 2026) lost my data twice. The more recent loss wasn’t bad but the first was some very important and meaningful stats and dates related to personal achievements and medical changes. Truly disappointed that the money I just paid was taken by a company that doesn’t care enough about their product and the users who support them to make it more stable. Have to stop using and stop recommending like I used to.
Widget disappeared
After the latest iOS update, the widget displays. Could you fix it? Thanks
No notifications..
It has the option to turn notifications on but it doesn't actually notify you. I set up test alters and nothing happened. It has a great layout and it’s easy to use but the fact that it doesn't notify you.. i don’t see the point.
What did you do?? App data is gone!
I have been a big fan of this app and recommended it to many friends. But today.. all of my data is gone!! Your app has completely erased my information. I am so upset. I had all kinds of important dates saved, and customized my events... and now it is all gone??! Why would you do this?! I am really unhappy. Can you restore my information??
Our Wedding
I set the countdown to our wedding and never shut it off. When someone asks how long we have been married I can tell them to the second. It’s hilarious.
Downhill
I’ve had this app for a while but lately I get a sync error and now when I try to add a new event the app freezes up. It’s the app I know because my phone is normal otherwise. What happened?! Can we fix it? Is the dev even listening anymore??
Nice simple app
Only issue is that it has a month and year value that never displays. Days goes into the thousands instead.
Good app but changes date by one day all the time.
Like the app but it just randomly adds 1 day to each event I setup. Going to look for a different app, as this is just annoying.
Don’t like the new update
I’ve been using this app since 2018 and the new update is slower and rearranged all of my countdowns
Love the app!
This app is a great tool to count up and count to events and specific Treasured dates. One issue is a sync error. I don’t know how to remove it.
Deleted all my countdowns
I had a series of sentimental counters that I had been saving for years. I used to love this app but they recently deleted all my countdowns without consulting me or notifying me or informing me there would be a disruptive update. It was actually deeply upsetting and I’m pretty upset about it.
Hate The Ads
I purchased the paid app ($1.) for no ads. It’s a nice app, although 2024 countdown is off by one day (short). Developer hasn’t allowed for February 29, 2024–it’s a leap year! 🤓
Widget doesn't work
The app is really great, but I want the widget, and it's there, but doesn't work. It's been more than a year that it for work. Will try another app
Widget
Bro where’s the widget
