I appreciate your “station alerts”, but I am often left wondering if the video pertained to yesterday’s weather or tomorrow’s weather. I wish you would timestamp the videos so I could tell the difference.

Looked at app for video weather news update. Latest video was from three days ago. With todays technology one would think the new weather could be downloaded simultaneously as it’s being broadcast on television

Bad usage of ad’s
Let’s just be completely honest here when you put a severe weather alert out and somebody clicks the banner instead of telling us or showing us where the severe weather is occurring in our neighborhood we instead have to wait for a 30 second to one minute long ad to scroll across before you can do anything when severe weather counts seconds matter I believe that is y’all slogan if that’s the case then why would you put an ad in that place for 30 seconds? Why not after we look at the alert? That’s just a really bad way to do things. There could be a tornado warning and instead of getting the warning all we’re getting is some stupid ad for a mattress. Yeah we’re probably gonna need a couple of those after the storm if we survive no thanks to WPXI.
Used to work great
After the latest iPhone update, when I try to scroll sideways on the home page to see the daily temps it automatically switches to the videos. Very annoying.

Radar screen has to be swiped away after every viewing, not just my device my wife’s is acting the same , it’s basically annoying, im not using it as much anymore

I like to check this app for weather for my husbands company so we know what we can and can’t do but it seems like for the area we live in it’s not really very accurate and I get that I’m not in Pittsburgh but I do wish it was more accurate in my area Markleysburg or Farmington Pa

I liked this app because it gave me all the information I wanted without too many bells and whistles. Now with the new “update” one of the big changes it now allows ads on 99% of my weather feed. Very annoying. More ad revenue for them, dumb and annoying for me.
My Favorite Weather App Deserves a Widget
I have tried all the biggest weather apps on the iOS store and this local one takes the cake. I love hearing the local weatherman alerting me about what specifically is heading my way— it helps me know exactly what I need to do without forcing me to dig through ads for more information. The only thing that this app needs is a widget so I can have faster access to it. Add a widget and I’ll never dabble with another weather app again. Well done, Pittsburgh!

Well WPXI Weather app I’ve been using it for years sometimes it works right and sometimes it don’t work right at all. Sometimes it says it’s gonna rain then it don’t rain but then when it says it’s gonna rain then turn the snow that don’t happen like today where I’m at down Claren PA it says it’s cloudy outside only, well I couldn’t go outside but I was trying to how she ran it so WPXI the person who asked she fixes or out basis weather app needs to do a better job of making sure everything is done right and ask you works right

WPXI use to be one of the best until they were sold in 2020. Now they are the worst!
Tapping between Radar, 10-day, hourly takes way too long
my iPhone 14 keeps taking 3-5 seconds to recognize that Ive tapped "radar" or "hourly" making your app, very clunky and borderline unusable.

I grew up in South Park. Have lived in Ohio for 45 yrs. It’s great to have channel 11 news at my fingertips to be able to stay informed about what is happening in and around the communities my family is affected by. Thanks for all you do to!
No clue
I just WISH the weather people in PGH/ western PA would be honest and say on air “ Look people, we have no idea what the weather is going to be, and quite frankly NO ONE does.” And that would be the truth. Just list the days and put on there Monday not sure … Tuesday don’t know …Wednesday might be anything could rain, could be sunny, possibly cloudy… Thursday check the almanac because your guess is as good as mine and Friday Saturday Sunday just play it by ear because there’s no telling. That’d be great.

Latest version poorly designed
The latest version of the iOS app puts interface elements in the space reserved for iOS so when you attempt to interact with them you’re obstructed by the iOS interface instead of the app itself.

Waste of time
Why do I have to watch a video for a storm warning? Just list the counties/ areas affected. Quick access to that info could be valuable in an emergency situation.

Listing to repeated information for over an hour is excessive. People are not stupid, we get it

As the title states, very user friendly. Daily, hourly, and monthly icons across the bottom makes Channel Eleven’s tops!

The video on this app doesn’t work well at all. One wonders if the creators have ever actually tried to use it on an iPhone.
