Excellent
Can’t connectf and can’t cancel
I have to return the tracker since it won’t connect and customer service won’t get back to me. I can’t find anywhere to cancel in the app. They make it hard to do.
Excellent
I’ve been using this for two years now all over the UK. Definitely the best tracker for knowing where my spaniel is at all times on a walk. And his recall to the buzzer is really good.
Unbelievable
It’s like this tracker is trying to kill my cat. In all the time I’ve had this tracker it has never worked, and you have to PAY for the best tracker mode, which I just found utterly ridiculous. It lets you down when your cat is lost or on a road and none of the functions work properly. They at least have to add some kind of electric shock option in case your cat’s caught something. This tracker is so bad and you can’t even trust it.
Stuck on the Connect Tracker screen for Weenect Kids
I purchase Weenect kids tracker and cannot finish its set up in the mobile app. It just cannot get past the “Connect your tracker” screen, although my Weenect is showing a successful network connection. The instructions and troubleshooting guide are not detailed enough to resolve.
New update looks messy
Update review: The new UI design from the new update (July 2026) looks really messy. The new font in the UI is too blocky - the words are clipping out of the margins on the “History” tab. The core functionality remain unaffected, thank goodness. However I do not like the pop up ads to upgrade features though. Previous review: Disconnection/network issues are the reason I won’t give 5 stars. Works well enough to keep an eye on where my cat likes to hang out outside. Love the “history” feature where you see their path they traveled. Can also call up history from previous days at specific times. Pretty cool. Wish the tracker was a bit smaller but I do like the ringer and vibration function for recall training (and for finding the tracker if it falls off and gets lost in underbrush).
Brilliant
Gives me so much peace of mind knowing where my cat is and her exact location, it’s such a good app and highly recommended if your worried about letting your little one out
App disfunctional
Literally had the app 24 hours and already it has stopped working, just get message that it’s encountered issues and goes black. When it was working, the tracker was disconnected multiple times. Not good if your kitty is lost in a new neighbourhood. The entire purpose of spending £55 buying the product and £79 activating it was to keep my cat safe. Extremely let down and not happy….should have paid attention to the other bad reviews. Now have to go out and trawl the streets looking, defeats the purpose. Update: Developer replied after several months that this was a technical issue resolved the same day. I beg to differ! I kept the tracker to see if there were any improvements but no, absolutely useless, always disconnecting and the only way to connect is manually by turning it off, how, if your kitty has wandered off and you have no idea where they are? Doh.
Collier GPS
Works 50% of the time
Not sure if it’s where I live but it disconnects a lot. The device constantly trying to reconnect drains the battery and makes the device hot on my pets neck. Debating trying something new after my 3 month free subscription goes out. When it works, it’s nice but like I said that’s half the time. Wish the battery lasted longer and I do have a battery saving zone set up.
My wondering cat
We first decided to get a tracker when Billy our cat didn’t come home for a week. We did a lot of research into the different types or tracker and weenect came out the best choice. Billy is quite small, and we worried that the other trackers were quite big, bulky and heavier than the weenect. That was 5 years ago. We now have the peace of mind that when he decides to disappear, we know exactly where he is. We live in a semi rural area and it works perfectly. I wouldn’t be without it now.
Black screen again!
Sick of this app failing. Happens every couple of weeks. Not good when you need to find your pet. Having to keep her in incase she goes missing in her new location. Need this to work 24/7!
Super
It’s not perfect
The app frequently has glitches as does the gps tracker which even when in full 5g still has trouble accurately pin pointing its position. Now recently the app hasn’t been able to show historical distance covered nor max speeds etc, it’s been like this over 2 weeks now, it’s a known issue but Weenect doesn’t keep its users informed and should have sent out a message to all its users it’s benign looked into. However taking 2 weeks or more to sort an issue may be to do with the app being French based as nothing in France is ever corrected or sorted quickly!
Weenect
Very pleased with our Weenect. It’s given peace of mind when out on walks and when my dog goes to daycare. Very easy to set-up and use and smaller than other devices that I’ve seen.
Bad Service and Support
When the systems are up are running it’s a great app, but the service fails so many times and in good French fashion the time it takes to solves the issues is far too long. It the service fails during the weekend, forget about it, they won’t do anything until Monday. There is no 24/7 support. Stay away from this company
Good but expensive.
Very good tracker but subscription is expensive compared to other providers.
Battery drain with latest update
The latest update means i can’t get through a whole day 8hrs whilst using the 30s mode. Before the update i would still have 40% after 8 hrs.
Better than nothing
Bought this tracker as my young cat goes on adventures in woodland near our house. A few points about the app/tracker I've discovered after owning it for a month.. the translation to English in the app isn't great. The accuracy of the tracker is quite poor, doesn't update well and when the cat is within the energy saving zone it can be difficult to locate them. The app is slow, crashes frequently and the features for using the bell tone often doesn't work. The bell tone is very quiet and I always hear the cats actual bell before I hear the tracker tone. Overall unimpressed with the product and wouldn't recommend this to another cat owner until the app/tracker is improved.
Good for cat monitoring
Works really well I had no idea how far the cat roamed until this came along
Great - when it works
Accurate when it’s actually tracking my cat, but it drops off the GSM network several times a day. Superlive only works occasionally and even when it does it usually doesn’t report any update in position for the two minutes it is running. Time to try a different tracker because this one leaves me wondering too many times a day.

Good one for know where your kids are. Working nicely but sometimes it stuck a little bit and couldn’t find the proper position of the product. But all over its working well. Recommend for those parents who really care for their love one. Thanks
Not 100% accurate but does the job
App is okay. Buzzer stopped working and don't have a way of “training” my cat to link it to treats/food so he comes back. Also, the satellite tracking isn’t very accurate, but it does give me a rough idea of his whereabouts so it’ll do. The app completely messed up the addition of a second tracker, wouldn’t let me subscribe and rejected after I thought payment had gone through which means my cat is wearing a tracker but no idea if its working or what. Overall, okay. Keeps my mind at rest to some extent.
Weenect XS - tracker and caller for my deaf cat
I have a cat that loves the outdoors but is deaf so he can’t hear when I call him in, which I do every night. The tracker and app (and website) enable me to see where he is and I have trained him (as much as you can train a domestic cat) to return when I use the vibrate feature (Dreamies are his reward). The vibrate feature can be set to buzz for up to 30 seconds each time you use it. The ring feature also helps me to locate him when he is not in the mood for returning and I have to physically search for him. It rings about as loud as a typical mobile so if he is say 20 feet away, I can hear it. The accuracy of the GPS tracker is affected by weather, so sometimes it is very accurate and other times it gives you a general sense of the location. I find this sufficient especially once you get used to knowing the places your cat typically goes. The tracker also has a flashing light feature to help locate your pet, but I have not found that as useful as the ringer and buzzer. The tracker does need charging every 3 days. The duration will be affected by how frequently you use its features, including the super-live feature, which gives you a second by second track for a minute or two. I do use that occasionally when I really need to locate him but it does use up the battery more quickly. Without this tracker I wouldn’t be happy letting my cat out of the house because of his deafness. I have found the customer service to be excellent and very responsive.
Not working reliably
Our tracker didn’t work at all, despite several attempts to get it linked with the app. The refresh function stopped working and in the end I lost patience and deleted it. This might work in some areas but I live in a rural location and had to request a refund.
Works as it should
Only downfall is gift certificates you have to call them to activate other than that it work with iPhones and galaxy’s
Brilliant - when it works
Have been using these to track our two cats. When it works it’s the best tracker on the market, in my opinion. I’ve also tried Tractive and Pet Tracer but Weenect trumps them both. However: - I have to keep my iPhone on 24hr time setting otherwise the tracker will disconnect every day from 1pm. - Since Weds 4th March 2026 my two trackers - and their replacements - have developed an issue where the charging light is on all the time, even if no charging cable is connected or if the tracker is even turned off. Also, when you connect the charging cables the charging light is now always green, not red when charging and green when fully charged. - my original trackers wouldn’t even charge from weds 4th onwards… They used to work beautifully until 4th March - must have been some new piece of firmware deployed that wasn’t properly tested that has messed with the trackers power management. Too much of a coincidence that both trackers developed the same fault on the same day, and their replacements also have the same faults.
Need to up grade the network
Good when 4g or 5g but poor on 3G and connection can be unreliable but in places where would expect ie woods hills etc but great little device just needs better connection for peace of mind
It’s really good
Works well - we’ve been using for almost 2 years now, customer service is excellent too. Highly recommend this app!
Terrible for accessibility and inaccurate
I’m one of the 2million + people in the UK with a moderate to severe sight impairment and find the app inaccessible. I raised this with customer services and they ignored my points. Text size: the text is tiny and the app doesn’t work with Apple’s dynamic text, ie the Accessibility option within Settings for apps to adjust text size according to a user’s preferences. Colour: pale grey text on a white background might look pretty, but it makes the text completely unreadable for the millions of people living without perfect vision. How about catering for older users who don’t want to take their reading glasses on a walk? Why would a business ignore the needs of a huge demographic of potential customers? Oh, and it’s wildly inaccurate… Wishing I hadn’t paid for a 3-year subscription
Cat tracking
(Still) works well. Gives you a good idea of where the pesky cat is hiding! Would be nice to be able to “calibrate” GPS drift. ie the cat is with me/my phone now, not 23m off to the left somewhere. He’s created some great GPS art as well which was an unexpected bonus!
Unreliable
The system is sadly quite unreliable. The tracker routinely fails to “turn on” when leaving a power saving zone so if your pet goes missing on that occasion, you won’t be able to track them. I’m surprised you can’t simply press the button once to wake it up. The app is also unreliable. I would prefer fewer features and more reliability. I say this despite living in an urban area with excellent mobile coverage so I dread to think what it is like somewhere rural. I would caution about buying a 3 year plan up front and suggest paying monthly in case you conclude it isn’t reliable enough.
Ok
Sometimes works fine but other times location is poor. Waiting for my dog from the front of me and she appears at the back. The quick tracker (every 10 sec for 5’ ) will only stop after 5’. No option to cancel it earlier.
The best tracker out there
We using the tracker for over a year and half, had it abroad and works perfect. Definitely must have device out there, it gives peace of mind when kids are out for both parents and kids.
Rubbish
Absolute rubbish. Inaccurate and very rarely has a signal. Waste of money.
Great app with new features
Weenect tracker give us peace of mind with our indoor/outdoor cat Zorrito. Great app with new features and refinements in the last six month including a WiFi safe zone.
Can’t sign up
I can’t get passed the contact details page. On the address page it just doesn’t give me an option to continue after I’ve put my address in. Very frustrating. Going to have to go on my walk without it.
Ok in first weeks, not perfect.
Location tracking is not precise, but in reasonable vicinity. After battery decreased to 60%, the device started shutting off randomly.
What a reassurance
We have a property of 10 hectares, half of which is woodland in hilly terrain.. Both our dogs carry a Weenect GPS tracker at all times. The Weenect system is very reassuring as both my wife and I can instantly see where the dogs are. We have also food trained them, so that when we make the GPS collar ring or vibrate, the dogs return to the house. I would recommend this system to anyone..it works well.👍👍
So far not working well
Charge only lasts two days , inaccurate tracking and the plastic cover that it’s sits in has already broken after being used for less than two weeks. Waste of money . :(
Dog tracker
The Weenect tracker is very good and has saved me hours of searching and worry .it’s easy to use but other trackers are available now that are subscription free and cheaper
Meh
Good-ish customer service, but the gps doesn’t work well, it’s better than nothing, but also it’s heavy for a collar and barely works
Was much better
I am one of the first users when it was called "petit balise". The idea is to track someone to know if they got to a place (geofencing) and to get to them if necessary. The list of functions is very complete. The problem is that the tracker used to "connect" is not reliable..and therefore the signal goes out. A shame, because it really had potential.
