Super cool
This app is so cool, and I think it should have five stars. It is super easy to access, and it is one of my favorite apps
Animal
My whale shark name is not showing up on the app, my whale sharks name is Caspian. Can you figure out why it’s not showing up??
Good but.
This app is good but when ever I try to go on the thing where you can chose to show different animals it won’t let me so please fix this bug
Was Better the old way
Was better before nickel & dime you to death for everything on the app
It won’t let me sign in
I can’t sign in it keeps saying this password is to similar to others
So encouraging
Ever since I have again found my passion for ocean life and sharks, I have found a deep passion in ocearch and its mission statement of protecting great white sharks and other marine life from extinction. Today we must remember and respect to keep our oceans clean and the aspects of ocean life!!!!
can’t even use the app
It keeps telling me that I can’t create a google account cause my age I’m 14 and the dang app says 4+ and I’ve used so many different birthdays and it still says the same damn thing fix this
Love this app!
It’s so fun being able to see where the turtles and sharks go everyday!
It does not work
Ever time I click on the app it kicks me out
Why the new sign-in requirement?
I enjoyed using this app for the past 6-8 mths. The latest update prevents me from using the app without sharing personal info. Too bad.
I love it
So nice
So bad
Bad
Ocean loving fun
A great tool for families and individuals to learn about the unique lives of some of the ocean’s most intriguing wildlife!
Update is terrible
I loved this app and looked at it every day. This last update made it almost unusable. Way too many ads (for plus version and others). They take up over half my screen and won’t go away. I can’t see all my favorites—- only 5 or 6. The new layout is nonfunctional to me. I will try a little longer but if it doesn’t get easier I will sadly give it up.
What happened?
The last time I opened this app it was easy to navigate and understand. There were no paywalls. And the latest update is awful. I find the new app super hard to navigate and confusing. Bring back the easy way lol. This is overkill.
Love this app!!!
I love this app. After paying for an animal tracking app that uses old data, we found this app that is free! My child loves tracking her turtles and sharks that ping more often and update more then the app we paid for that uses historical data. Thank you, for allowing us to track these animals! My child loves looking everyday to see where her animals are currently at!
payment
So i am a shark LOVER and i got this app so i could track my favorite sharks but once i got all signed in i saw that i had to pay for it and in my opinion i shouldn’t have to pay to track my favorite animal if anyone has any other apps i should download please let me know thanks
Thanks For Listening! (maybe …. 🤔 )
SO UHM- I ACCIDENTALLY PUT WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY IN THE TITLE INSTEAD OF THE STORY- oops .. anywyas ready both pls ! nvm- “..CAN YALL PLS ADD A BUTTON WHERE WE FIND A PLACE TO FIND SHARKS OR OTHER ANIMALSS PLS
Paid membership isn’t worth
Cool app but very few sharks to track. Paying for a membership doesn’t get you anything materially better
Cool
Looks good but I can’t log in
Awesome
I absolutely love being able to see where they are!
Awful
Probably the most user unfriendly app I have ever tried.
No Europe?
There are no sharks tagged in Europe. I love the idea and the work hence the 4 star but if it’s only in the Americans it should be written.
Website more accurate
Why does the website show more animals like seals. But none on the app? The website is so much more distinctive and more interesting since there’s atleast 20+ more marine mammals to follow.
USA funds
Nice app, I like checking it out and sent it to a few people - you need to update your prices /donation page to advise it is USA amounts, not your home country where you make the purchase / donation. Bumps up the price from $26 US to $34 CDN.
So fun & educational!
Love checking in on my favorite sharks and turtles. My kids love to play around and see where they are going. Love that the comments are back as well! So great to support such a wonderful non-profit organization.
stop forcing accounts
i updated and now i can’t use the app without being forced to make an account. there is no reason for me to share my data for something silly like this. i enjoyed the idea but its no where near worth me making an account and dealing with the eventual data breach
Need A Bigger Boat
Wonderful Fun & Just chock full of great information I would like to see a FAQ page included for us newbies Great Whites in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence ? Dolphins attacking both boards & boats ? Record water temperatures ! It’s never going to be too late Support this App & Donate if you can
Meh
App is ok but other marine animals (not sharks) haven’t been tracked in a long time so unless you JUST want to track sharks you’re out of luck
Great but removed comments
Please bring back the comments!!! It made the app so much fun, I loved seeing what people had to say about all the cute sharks <3
My Tracks
This is the best way to understand the importance of our Oceans and the Animals that belong to it. To better ourselves on what needs to be done in order to keep our Oceans safe from pollution and disease. Thank you all for doing this , I enjoy everything about this Tracking System of the Oceans Animals
Don’t reduce the app’s usefulness then force me to upgrade
Hmmm it was a great app then they basically removed features and hit you with a $29 upgrade to get them back. Like a cheesy bait and switch.
Bring back the comment section
Please bring back the comment section! Love the app but the comment section was top tier entertainment
Won’t let me make an account
I’ve tried different emails, I’ve tried with my Apple account, but I never get a confirmation sent to my email. I just wanna track some sharks!!
Just a bit confused
There’s a big chance I’m just not doing something right, but there seems to be something wrong? For instance, one shark I always look for, Katya, seems to have the ability to grow legs and walk inland. I’ve seen her about three times on land, one time on a farm nowhere near water. There also seems to only be sharks around QLD- do sharks not like Canberra way? I’d love to be able to see what sharks are near me, but there’s never been a shark even remotely near. There’s also only been one turtle pinged ever near me. Am I using the app wrong?
Ocean Search is Great 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Ocean Search is the best!!!The things that I like about Ocean Search is that Ocean Search is educational and fun for curious kids like myself. From,Zo👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Boo
I’m not giving you all of personal information to sell to use a shark tracker. Shouldn’t need to create a password to track sharks
Where are the comments?
Came back to this app after being gone for awhile. I recall there being comments. Where did these go? They made the app very enjoyable.
Can’t log in
I’ve tried 3 different email address for this app and apparently it’s unable to login with provided credentials, i would love to know how to fix this problem!
Deleted Comments
I thought this app was amazing! I came away with a much better understanding of shark behaviour and started to see them for who they really are, sea creatures who deserve as much respect as any other. However, the comments helped to connect the people and the sharks. It added such an amazing element to a scientific and educational site. Without the comments, it seems its just another scientific and educational app. I don’t feel like I belong here any more.
GREAT APP
Great tracking app but some are from along time ago
Fraud organization
They back seaworld and are notorious for taking credit on scientist’s hard work. Not genuine.
Great app!
Lots of fun, but I had to take off a star because the comments have been disabled! That was half the fun.
Totally awesome
This app is such an awesome concept. Unfortunately it does fall down on performance a little and the menu system 'hangs' on my iPad Air. However if this was fixed I'd give this great Eco idea the 5 star rave every day of the week. Great potential here!.
Good app but
They took away the comments :( I loved reading them, they were so sweet. Please bring them back
Tracking is family unity
We follow & worry. So excited to send one another updates about pings. I’m looking forward to Ocean City Maryland shark tagging
Tracking
I used to like and used all the time this app, no they want to track us! No thank you. I’m out
Methods suspect otherwise interesting
Do not chum for your sample sharks. It causes us problems locally. thanks !
"Global"
As long as you live in the U.S. I'll try again in 6 months
Great app
This is a great app and I really enjoy following all the great work you do however... I can't find any information on the pings now.. kind of making the app pointless to use 😔
