Perfect
I’ve been playing this for decades to relax. I can pick the challenge level…also letting me know when I picked the wrong # avoids the usual Sudoku frustration.
Frustrerend
Na 3 puzzels houd ik het voor gezien. Geen mogelijkheid om niet andere puzzel te downloaden. App uit geheugen verwijderen en dan weer starten geeft de mogelijkheid om verder te puzzelen.
Great game
This is a very enjoyable version of sudoku. It is one of my favorites. I paid to upgrade to get rid of the ads which were annoying. My only concerns are that the last revision was done in 2015, and that it doesn't appear in the list of sudoku games when you do a search on "sudoku". You have to search on "Eric". Who would know to do that, unless you already have the game? Otherwise I would've given it five stars. I hope this will be updated to keep up with the latest iOS version.
Not free anymore
I used to love Eric’s games. They are well engineered. But instead of rolling over points to continue playing, they don’t give you enough points to do that because they want you to buy the points. For example, I just completed a quarter of my sudoku level and got five points. To roll over into another game I need 60 points.

Want my old stuff back
I LOVE this game, and have had it since version one. Eric keeps it up-to-date, and I play it every day. But, tonite when I opened it, I was horrified to find that the clear, easy to see boxes in the various lists of puzzles are nearly invisible. The color that shows which number I’m working on is an ugly orange scribble! I want my old colors and boxes back, please! Eric, I’m sure you thought this would look great with the darned “glass” OS, that Apple forced on us, but it doesn’t. I cannot use the “glass” OS settings. Please at least give us the option to go back to the way the game looked yesterday. P.S. anyone else remember Eric’s Fountains? 😄

Good but not as clear as old version
Buttons so close to ads...
Update...Buttons so close to ads... Notes buttons are big and round but actual entry buttons are quite small and so close to ad on bottom, your finger clicks ad and away you go to the store. Forcing a person to buy the game without ads, makes me not want to buy it, nor keep the free game. BUT, if the Round Notes buttons and the actual Too Small Entry buttons switched positions so that the Notes buttons were below the actual Too Small Entry buttons AND ads on top, i would probably love the game because i would not constantly accidentally clicked ads instead of Too small Entry buttons. If there were room, the Too Small Entry buttons could be enlarged as well. Thank you Eric.

I really enjoy play this sudoku game. I haven't gone too far on on my 2nd 100 puzzle. I hope as I continue it will not cost me money. It's really challenging and I like playing against the clock. But I don't understand how u accumulate the tokens. Sincerely Nancy

Used to LOVE it
Thank you Eric! I have enjoyed this app for a long time. It is very well designed. It was a 5-star game until just recently; the ads that now come up before the game sometimes take quite a long time to end - there is no way to exit out of them before they run their course. I would rather pay for a good game than have to put up with that. I will check back periodically to see if this becomes an option.
Unpredictable
I love the game, but have learned to take a screen shot of completed puzzle because , so often, it doesn’t hold the winning time, causing me to redo the entire puzzle. Very frustrating.
Best sudoku I’ve found
I have tried several sudoku apps and I like this one best by far. Try it, you’ll like it.

Slow to stop timer if I am interrupted in my game. Game took away approx. 200 points for no reason. Frustrating because of this.

Here is the comment I never sent three years ago: This app has hundreds of puzzles for all levels of players. I bought the solitaire and sudoku bundle and I love it. No ads. The one addition I would love is for a nighttime mode in Sudoku. Black squares, white numbers. Thanks for a quality game. I play daily. Update: Now you’ve done the only thing that could make this app better. Dark mode! My eyes and sleep patterns thank you! 🤩

Choices
I really like being able to choose between easy, medium, and hard. The ease of using the small numbers is a big plus! The pencil for notes and the pen are the best!
Banner ad placement
Sensational game but I keep hitting the banner ad down the bottom by mistake. Please move to the top.
