What people like
- Excellent coverage of Kerala local news
- Clean interface with useful dark mode
- Seamless switching between Malayalam and English
What they complain about
- App is painfully slow to load
- Ads are intrusive and hard to close
- Articles often cut off or fail to open
- Crashes frequently on iPhone devices
Excellent Malayalam News App
Outstanding news app for Malayalam readers! The recent redesign has made it much faster and more user-friendly. Love the bilingual support - can switch between Malayalam and English seamlessly. Great coverage of Kerala local news along with national and international stories. The hyperlocal district-wise news feature is particularly useful for staying connected with my hometown. The dark mode is easy on the eyes for night reading.Highly recommend for anyone wanting quality Malayalam news content.
Pathetic ads
Iphone users are struggling due to the ads at the bottom of the screen. As we try to close the app ad pops up. Cant keep the ads at the center of the screen
Issues facing while opening whatsapp channel links
The latest upgrade of the app is great, however with the new upgrade there is a challenge in opening the links of your whatsapp channel. Previously it used to open in browser, now it directly takes to the new app and most of the time it either doesn’t open or takes ages to open. Please check
Takes interstellar time to open up
This app is slower than Alappuzha Byepass project. It gives me a very interesting notification and when I click it I see the logo for light years. Fix it, developers or your job will be swallowed by AI
Not optimised for iPad
App will not support on landscape mode on iPad. Sofound
Best news app
I am addicted to Manorama Online app because it provides the authentic, trustworthy news. The beautiful user interface makes reading easy, and option for ad-free premium experience is also awesome
Please remove this UI issue
Advertisements are kept towards the bottom and designed in a way that it stays. Everytime we try to close the app by swipping from bottom to up, it makes it as a click and opens the advertisement in the browser. You can show me the advertisement but cannot force me to click it through a design element.
Not user friendly
I am a regular reader of Manorama online. I would like to cite two aspects, viz., (1)loading of the cite and the news reports takes too much time and(2) in the iPad, the app is not displaying a full page view, rather i would say, it is not iPad friendly version. Please look into the above and resolve.
Scrolling issues
The interface scrolling is faster and has a bit inertia to it. The scroll goes on even after a sudden stop.
Issue while opening
The app asks for registration every time I open it. It should remember the settings, I have given up now

Swipe to back
Manorama iPhone application lacks a swipe-to-back option, except for the back button located at the topmost part. This makes it challenging to use with one hand.
Jk
I used to spend a lot of time reading news from Manorama online. But since the new update I can’t read more than one news at a time. So I just hate the app and thanks for saving my time.
App is pretty slow
App to pretty slow most of the time . It takes more than 30 seconds to open news stories and sometimes not even opening even on high speed WiFi. There is room for lot of improvement
Latest news not showing ios
Before releasing any update, plz properly test all the areas. Latest news area is not showing anything in iphone.
Good News App
One of the Best News Reading App
Pathetic app
The news don’t open properly and it’s keep saying ‘ oops.. something went wrong’. At least have a better app. They will update the app probably once in a year
Slow response of App
After the new update on 31.10.2022, the App has become unbearably slow in its response. Returning to “Home” section takes a cool 2 minutes or more. Your patience will be tested. This must be investigated immediately before public decides to unload this App from their library.
App crash frequently
This app crashes frequently in iphone.. has reinstalled many times by now.. very pathetic development .
How can i read complete content?
i have been trying for so long time, that is when i reach end of the screen the new content ends incompletely with dots for some news. I don't know how can i read the rest of the news. If i swipe will switch to next news.
Great app
Great app for keeping up with Kerala news! I love the all new clean interface. The dual language option (Malayalam/English) is super helpful. Only downsides are occasional loading delays on slower connections and some intrusive ads. Overall, a reliable news companion that delivers exactly what it promises.
Anoop
The news has not updated for the last 6 days. The latest news available on the app is from 6 days ago. I have no idea whats wrong with these guys.
Ad only problem
Except for ads, its good
We can’t read some articles fully
We can’t read some articles fully. So I prefer other online sources which are free to read like Mathrubhumi etc
Sign in issue
I already signed in using my Apple ID. But every time when I open this app it shows not signed in !!
Rich in content, smooth in experience.
This update makes the app feel premium. The interface is clean, the navigation is smooth, and the depth of content
Amount Debited But App doesn’t show
Amount is regularly debited but App does not show me as subscribed. So I am quitting
News alert not working...!
Very good app. But news alert not working in my iphone 7 plus. But all other app's alerts are showing.... Please do some thing.
Can’t read most of the newses
Befor the app was good
Mr Chacko.
You write a lot of PREMIUM news. Unfortunately cannot open and read easily. From the top to bottom in the Home Page there is a lot of repetition.
Massive improvement!
Hats off to the developers. The app feels fresh and polished, with new features. Highly recommended!
Payment is not being recognized
I’ve made the payment for premium, yet it does not reflect on my app.
Unable to open app from notifications
While opening a notification the app stucks on or before splash screen with a white view
Get better manorama
Hey developers do you ever profile your app for energy usage . This app takes a ton of battery and memory. It has serious memory management issues. The focus is on ad loading and not user experience
Wide coverage !
I like Manorama news very balanced factful and repleate with every bi current Thank you

Cannot get out of adds
After spending few minutes in the application, an add overlay appears and there is no way to dismiss that overlay. Only way to get out is killing the application. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
Poor performance
Since update this app is not working properly. Once opened a news it freezes and back button doesn’t work. Please correct this bug.
