Too Many advertisements
Advertisements are annoying. Greed, raw unabashed greed, is more annoying. This station, this app,is contaminated with greed. So I deleted it. Won’t be back.
Review of the app
Your app is good, but how do we get rid of all the ads! We don’t need to see all the legal firms out there.
Advertisement issue
Every time I open the app and I want to read the story advertisements play automatically with sound There’s nowhere to shut it off or mute it unless you press on it so if you’re in a location, that’s quiet and you want to read a news story it’s basically impossible since the ad will start blurting out loud immediately when you click on the story - there you should have a place in your menu to mute that unless you want to hear it it’s extremely annoying
Live stream
Since past updates,can only watch the Live stream on my iPad vertically. Used to be able to watch it vertically or horizontally. Can we get back to watching it either way.
Excellent when traveling too
I love using the Fox5 app when I’m traveling so I can keep up with the local news and watch the morning gang
Stop the auto play on the videos
Don’t like how the ads on videos autoplay when I open a story. Too many times I’ve been in a quiet room trying to discreetly read the news article yet a loud video pops off automatically. I should have to select the video option for the ad to start playing.
Why?
Is there a particular by reason why I have to listen to commercials in Spanish while watching my news in the mornings? Nothing else is in foreign languages… Please put Spanish stuff with their Spanish channels so I can go back to enjoying my news. I am unable to submit a new rating. Nevertheless, there’s still commercials in Spanish which is very annoying. I wonder if they are subjected to English advertising on their channel.

The app is okay but the ads are OBNOXIOUS and have gotten worse recently. So many every time you click something. The live broadcasts have more ads than news

ADS FOR DAYS!
I usually only use this app for notifications. You absolutely don’t want to click on any stories! You will be suffocated by advertisements! This is one of the most lame apps I’ve ever used.
Garbage
This app is trash, when I watch live broadcast and it cuts to commercial, when it comes back, it’s LNL. And it’s not that the show is over. Close the app and try to relaunch to watch LV news and it’s back to LNL again. In addition, it uses tons on data, I stream other apps that use a fraction of the data. It’s not efficient. Same complaints for the app on FireTV. Get some better programmers or have a QA program.
Great app until the ads took over
Used to love this app, but then ads became almost impossible to close. It became as annoying as those game ads that have an “x” so small you could only find it with a microscope. I understand you have to make money, but if your ads are too overwhelming, I will have to find news elsewhere.
Old news, they don’t update
Today is the 18th but the most updated news here is from the 16th. So why should I come here?
Stop the Loud Ads!
Every time I open a story it starts a video that is loud. Why do we have to listen to that when we simply want to read a news story?
Submitting photos
On tv the newscasters say send your photo on the submit photos and video tab. I can’t find that tab anywhere. It’s not user friendly.
Take too long cover live news
Fox 5 take too long to cover live! It’s too much to cover 2-3 hours on 1 news should mention what happens then move on and come back for update later. There are other news. I just switch to other channels. If you keep doing this I will not watch Fox anymore!

Don’t Waste Your Time
I have had this App for a couple of years, and every time I open it, I’m hoping it’s been improved. Nope, it’s never happened. Today, I’m deleting this app because I’m tired of dealing with the bugs and other issues. When trying to fill out a form, it jumps to another page and deletes everything. When you click a news story, the weather comes up, an advertisement appears, and a different story plays. This is after 4-5 minutes! Stick a fork in me, I’m done! Bye!

Not worth even downloading
At first it worked, now you can’t even submit an issue. Not worth downloading, so aggravating! The actual app won’t even let you rate it have to go to the App Store find it and then submit. What’s the point of having it if it doesn’t work and you don’t care? Just useless! They make it impossible to set your privacy preferences so I’m deleting my account and the app. I’ll go online if I need to see something.
Time to load is very slow
Unfortunately the loading time on the app is very slow.
Sharing
I use to be able to share articles and not be concerned which direction I held my screen. At the least, let us share articles.
Does not brodcast as before.
Unable to watch daily live news like before. Also, cannot remove closed captioning individual live stories that do play.
Ads are out of control
The ads are out of control. There is no true settings, so stopping auto play of videos isn’t an option. Stories are so abridged you don’t get any true information. The old app was so much better.
Noisy ads
They have started doing videos with music and dialogue while opening the app - you can not stop it and this is unnecessary and annoying They are now blocking access to the app with ads that refuse to go away
