Can’t delete from I phone won’t allow me to disconnect data either
Used for years, but…
I’ve used this app for years, but when I tried to use it recently, I was unable to transfer the files as I had before via email. Dropbox also failed. I finally got it to work using iCloud so I could email it from there on my cell phone. A lot of workaround and panic for an urgent project. Fixing that would be great!
Can’t figure out how to transfer from watch to phone
It’s nice that this app has a feature to record on my watch, but I can’t figure out how to transfer it to my phone, which makes the watch app kind of useless. Developer site has no manual or support email that I could find.
Useful app, BUT…
I like this app and have 100s of recordings with it, BUT if I try to save a second recording to iCloud it always crashes. If I save a recording to iCloud, close the app, and then reopen it, then the next recording will save to iCloud. But that is a pain in the butt when I have a lot of recordings I need to save to iCloud and I have to close the app every time, go find the next recording, and then save it. This really needs a bug fix.

this app is superb, has great audio quality and many features that i almost want to give this 5 stars but then i saw the ads on the bottom and it traumatized me, there was literally people naked with their stuff hanging out. the ad itself was from temu but seriously moderate your ads before i cleanse my eyes with bleach.
Exporting recordings
I recorded a song saved it to mp3 tryed to export it to my google playlist does not work, is there something else I must do for it to work?
No way to restore my PAID purchase, and NO SUPPORT
I liked the app enough to want to reinstall it when I switched to a new iphone - but was surprised to find out that restoring my paid purchase (to remove ads) doesn’t work??? All my other apps worked for that, and the purchase is clearly still in my purchase history for the same account I’m logged in with. Trying to contact app developer (more than once) has yielded no response.
This app is perfect
I’ve been using this app for a long while now, and it does EXACTLY what I need it to do. It records what you need it to, you can export it in different formats, and you can send it to other people, to yourself, save to your files, etc. without being locked behind a paywall. It’s amazing. My only complaint is that the remove ads link doesn’t work so I can’t support this app financially at all.

Pornographic ads scrolling at the bottom
When o record on this app, which I’ve used for many years - there are naked photos of women and girls scrolling on the bottom. I emailed the developer and never heard back
Keeps quitting middle of use
It keeps quitting in the middle of use. Also, if I have it set to repeat a certain subsection of a recording, but then my phone goes into sleep mode, it forgets that and just repeats the full recording.

Don’t Trust This App
I paid for this once now they way me to pay again to remove the ads. So sick. States I have pro but put ads on my interface. With a link to upgrade. These guys are slick.

Good app, recording broken
Love the app, it’s handy and on point for my needs. Upgrading it to a paid version felt worth every penny. Unfortunately, since I’ve upgraded my iphone SE to an iphone 17 the recordings started to sound like recorded in an 80’s robot voice and they are clipping. Hope you can fix it.
Cloud Function Broken
I’ve been using this app for years. It works and has great quality. Dropbox functionality is broken - it gets stuck when initiating uploading. When I try to sign out of Dropbox in the app, it tells me I’ve signed out successfully over and over again. It does this same thing for every cloud service - even though I’m not signed in to any of them aside from Dropbox.

Unfortunately, I’m still stuck with native voice memo as it’s the only app that will allow me to actually record stereo using both mics. (iPhone 15pro max). Shame really as this app has a potential. Also- there’s 32bit but 32bit float would be awesome…

Paul’s function fails to resume recording.
I wanted a voice recorder I could pause during recording. This has the feature. But if I pause and then resume it stops picking up sound from the microphone and the meter at the top stops registering

Sound
The sound quality is terrible and there is no way to fix it. I have put the speaker various locations, asked around for advice, and it still sounds terrible. I do not recommend at all!

I'm trying to use Google Drive with this app, but the Google Drive is unable to authenticate with this app and says it is trying to access sensitive information from Google Drive. Please check this issue and update it.
Needs modernising
I’ve used this app for a long time and while it was great at first it feels rather dated now. There is no way to go back to the main list of recordings whilst playing a recording. I wanted to share a recording whilst listening to it but couldn’t. Also, I accidentally added a bookmark but there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove the bookmark.

Watch syncing
What the heck is going on with the Apple Watch syncing… Recordings from the watch go on to the phone whenever they feel like it… If ever at all!

Was working fine until blocked by Google. When trying upload the recorded voice to Google Drive, the following error appears: This app is blocked This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.

Very good overall. Annoyingly though, it doesn’t interact well with the iPhone alarm function (reminder). When an alarm goes off, voice recorder stops so some of the needed recording is lost. This is especially worrying when the alarm is silent so this may not be noticed and much of the information is lost. If you sort this, it would be a fantastic app

Pretty dang good App
This is a good app for being free. It’s nice to see some app developers are not "money hungry and greedy" and create apps like this that work well.
Buggy. Icons are all wrong on the iwatch.
All the icons are wrong on the iwatch now, where the play button should be there is now a question mark. Hasn’t been updated for 4 months and it should have been after the new iOS.
Nearly perfect
I’ve had this app on an iPhone since it was first launched and used it for recording vacation reports and travel logs. It was great. But. Outside of slow cloud based exports my only other option was to convert files to mp4 and put in camera roll. Then export this to pc and convert back to mp3. For this reason I stopped using the app and found a new one with better direct export functionality. I’ve now found a workaround using a usb insert that files can export too. So I am back and happy using the app. I really like the online effect options but I don’t like that these can’t be set before the recording has started and also b they are not remembered from one recording to an other. This is a weird setup. I would like to use the limiter on all recordings but have to go through the setup procedure for it once I am recording live. Like I said it is nearly perfect and those updates would make this app 5 star. Update June 2023. I’m doing a lot more recording and this export nonsense is so backwards. Uploading files anywhere is painfully slow, especially the larger ones. Why oh why can we not batch export to any of the plug-In memory sticks that are common now, rather than have to do it one file at a time. On nearly any other recoding app I can export multiple files together. It is for this, and only this reason that I can no longer support using this app, which is a shame because it’s so good in every other way.

The recordings cuts off at the end when saving to my photo album. Can you help with why this is the case?
Editing options poorly explained and hard to find
Wanted to cut part of a recording and join it to another.But the cut option it claims to offer,doesn’t appear in the options list,nor can I see any way of doing this.Another problem is that sometimes a recording you have open,freezes on the screen and you can’t close it again,I had to exit the app and reboot the device before the app would run properly again.If there was a proper user manual it would be a help.
App deteriorated
I have been using this app since it first came out. It was excellent and can’t fault it’s ease of use, quality of recording and the fact it is free. However, in the last couple of months it stops recording around 30 minutes. It doesn’t warn me so I’m left with an incomplete recording. I have reloaded the app but it is still doing it. Is there an issue or have you reduced the length of time that can be recorded?
Goals met
Several years ago, I started using this app to take notes and create sort of a daily diary. I had hundreds of pages of entries and I was able to quickly move or translate the recording to text. It was important because I was putting together some book ideas and without this I never would’ve gotten done this quickly
Files won’t email
It’s not a bad recording device. But the files won’t email anymore. Problems with vrpro.mobi or with their DNS. It’s basically useless now, unless you find alternate workaround ways to get your files… which you really should have to do for a paid app.

paid for it but…
I paid and used this app for several months without fail and loved it. yesterday it started saying it could not authenticate my OneDrive. It gave me no option to sign in again and i can’t establish the link. I removed the app and reloaded and it. Now i have Ads and can’t seem to get rid of them. Same problem with my One Drive connection. i can’t see anywhere to go for help within the app.
Apple Watch recordings not always transferring to iPhone
This is one of the best recording apps for the iPhone with amazing features. There is a bug which is very frustrating in that if using an Apple Watch to initiate a recording from the Apple Watch, the file does not always transfer to the iPhone. There doesn’t seem to be a way of doing this manually. So you can only listen to the recording on the Apple Watch. :(
