No mention of having to pay any money until you want to see the results of the scan. £6.99 for a one off scan is too expensive.

The app is easy to use except taking photographs or using the camera automatically. Need to be able to use voice control to take pictures which would make far easier.

Never works
I have free access through my employer’s Medicash scheme, I used this app before and now it keep asking me to pay. I reset my password but it keep sending me back into the same loop. The UX is awful, literally noone in their design team has ever had a go at it or they’d understand how bad it is.
New user
I am reassured that you can set a reminder to check your area of concern in 3 months to track any changes.
Too hard to use
Although on top of the target the app can’t detect spots at all.
Sun cancers
I found this app to be quite useful even though they can say what it might be I still have it checked with a doctor

After following a recommendation from Skin Vision for a GP visit, my skin spot was diagnosed as Basal Cell Carcinoma and has now been removed and treated. The follow ups and reminders are quite reassuring. I will continue to use Skin Vision to monitor any skin changes.

Price Hike
I used to love this app. It WAS free to have the photos of all suspicious spots analysed, receive a reports and advice of what to do next all from qualified expert. Now paying $9.99 PER SPOT/PHOTO to be analysed, and not be claimable on CBHS (the fund who introduced the app) is excessive and unreasonable.
Dr said it saved my neighbours life
My neighbour had a lump on his back his wife mentioned it so we put it through the app. It said visit dr who confirmed it was skin cancer. It was removed within a week then had to have further intervention as it had spread so more was removed. Now got the all clear. DR asked what made you come in to which he mentioned this app. The Dr said well it’s saved your life.
Avoid. Sneaky- immediately ask for payment for an opinion- no mention in the app description
Rubbish- not recommended. No obvious mention of payment in the description. No opinion provided until payment is completed & of course after they have your details. Avoid.
Skin vision
Easy to use, only recommendation I would make is to be able to move the spots, as I had accidentally put one in the wrong place but otherwise it’s a very handy App 😁

Sembrerebbe che a valutare un neo se sia pericoloso o meno sia proprio la scelta che l'utente fa al momento della foto specificando se il neo ha avuto cambiamenti o meno. Se si specifica che non ha avuto cambiamenti, l'app ci comunica che il neo non ha problemi. Se specifichiamo che abbiamo notato dei cambiamenti di qualsiasi natura l'app ci allarma. Ho fatto la stessa foto allo stesso neo specificando in una che era cambiato e nell'altra no. Ho avuto due risposte diverse. Ma la valutazione non dovrebbe comunque essere svolta a prescindere della nostra info?
Fácil de usar, rápida
Está buenísima la aplicación y la idea. Todavía falta que podamos confiar más en los resultados. Yo probé contestar dos veces las preguntas, porque en el primer intento me salió “riesgo alto” y la segunda vez contesté todas las preguntas “no” (que era siempre la opción más positiva) e igual el resultado fue “riesgo alto”. Es decir, no había posibilidad de que sea riesgo bajo contestando de cualq manera. Eso le quitó credibilidad a la aplicación. Y ya deja de funcionar como lo que uno espera. Por esto, todavía no la puedo recomendar.

Such a great idea
Wonderful app. Filling such gap in the market as I can’t afford a $250 skin check regularly. The only thing I’d love them to allow is a family account so you can have the whole family under the one login.

Mixed emotions
I'm not sure where exactly to rate this app. Anything that encourages people to check their skin can only be a good thing however my mole came back as low risk when it was in fact melanoma. I guess I would say if you are worried enough to use an app then you should be worried enough to go to a gp or dermatologist. My case may well have been an outlier but nothing beats trained human eyes.
Great App
After having melanoma removed. I’m so relaxed and reassured after I have photographed my moles and received feedback from experts that there are no concerns. This takes away a lot of anxiety for me. I recommend this for anyone.
SCAM
This App is advertised as being free and easy to use. The registration process is OK, but taking the photo is difficult as there is no option to reverse the camera. I had to find a mirror to capture the photo. Once you have the photo, you need to register and pay before the image can be uploaded. The App subscription cost around £50 per year which I would happily pay if I wanted to track a number of issues rather than one small freckle!
Great App
Found this app really helpful as a spot came up a week or so ago and I have wanted to get it checked by a doctor but with the current Covid situation it’s so difficult to get a doctors consultation so downloaded the app (after a work colleague told me about it) tested the spot and the result came back as high risk. Now I know it’s priority to get an appointment! Thanks for making the app available. Just realised I wrote this review and didn’t send it. I now have another spot I want to get checked. After my last check I wasn’t told I could have a free check next time so wondering how I claim for this?

My Skin Cancer Review
I used your service and received a high risk review. I have since been asked to submit another photo which I did some minutes ago. I was told there would be no charge but my account was debited a few minutes later. There is no facility to detail a burning sensation which is more compatible with Shingles. I have a private appointment with a leading Dermatologist tomorrow and I will now be surprised is your high risk assessment of skin cancer is confirmed. I was convinced but your follow up now casts doubt and I hope your analysis is wrong. It would be simple to add a question which addresses a burning sensation
Great app to stop the panic
I live rurally, so while this app is not a complete diagnosis, it has made me schedule a drs appointment next time I am in town without the panic & worry of “worst case” scenario thoughts
Great concept, needs work
I love the idea of this and would happily pay for it too. However not being able to reverse the camera is a major pain as it means I can't see some of my freckles and moles to take photos of them. I need to rely on someone else.
