They’ll start looking for a driver 3 minutes before your booking time and it’s likely there won’t be any drivers! What exactly is the point of the pre booking option?

Pre-booking in advance (as far as a night before) is useless. They only schedule the car a good while after the time you pre-booked, and then you get to wait for it to arrive anyway.

Great to see an app like this finally for the Belfast area. Needs to be updated to properly support time zones differences. If you make a booking while in a different time zone it doesn't work properly. Also need to double or triple the size of the comments field.

Once again the most stupid taxi company in NI strikes again , pre book a taxi to work 16 hours in advance , no taxi to take me in to work and when I ring and ask the operator he tells me it’s my fault because I should always pre book another 15/20 before I actually want to leave in case of it being just , morons morons morons
Used to be Good
They changed it which modernized it which was better in design but far worse in functionality with the fonacab drivers. Also the prebooking system is a joke because it gives you no benefits and a rider isn't assigned to you until like 5 mins before your booking. so if you prebooked during a busy time it doesn't matter that you did because it won't start trying to assign a driver until five mins before you booked the car. and then it can take more than 5 mins to find a car then even more time for a car to reach you. It's so inconsistent! Sometimes I book extra early then I'm way too early to my appointment and sometimes i book closer to real time and then i'm not even assigned a car until after the booking and i'm late. The assigning process is atrocious and gives no extra consideration for if you prebooked or not. It's ridiculous.

Cannot rely on them at all
Recently every time I’ve gone to book a taxi with them you get the same message, no drivers available, what is the point of a taxi service if you cannot rely on it when you need it.

Changed from another well known company and FonaCAB as so far outperformed as arrive on time unlike other company that often didn’t come close to the booked time
Great App made pointless by drivers that don’t show for prepaid bookings.
App itself is very good, however after 2 prepaid drivers in a row over 2 weeks failed to show (recent one at the weekend picked up another couple using our prepaid booking and even tried to charge us more as the couple went further then where we live ) so basically pointless, might as well stand with cash on the street and grab a taxi, cash is king according to the drivers.

Driver was unprofessional and unethical
Found a lady in need who didn’t speak english-she was lost and her family requested me to book a taxi for her . It was a 3minute drive and the estimated charge was 3.70pounds. The driver was informed of her situation and i confirmed her address via a piece of paper she had with her and the family member who was on the phone. We got a notifications saying that the lady was charged 10pounds for this ride. The driver took advantage of the lady’s limitations and charged her extra. I can confirm this is the same person who we have booked with previously and charged us more than he should. He is not trustworthy and is cheating on customers

Don’t bother
Booted out of the app for no reason when I essentially needed this to get to a job interview. Forced me to provide my mobile number (which it already has anyways as I’ve used the app for years without issue) for a verification code that never sent anyways. This made my journey to my interview significantly more stressful than it needed to be as I had to run around Bangor looking for a cash machine to book local instead, which was significantly more reliable than what this app has done for me.

Never had an issue with drivers or rides, the app could be better and more modern though.
Bad experience
I booked a taxi for 5:30pm in the evening, at 9am to make sure I don't have to wait to get home. If I cancel the booking, as it says in the app, they charge £5. It's now 6:40pm when I write this message, and the taxi still hasn't shown up. The supervisor said he's sorry, but I'm busy. Dishonest to the core. If you cancel, they take your money, but if they are not on time? Nothing happens, not even a discount. Terrible service and terrible policy. I will start doing some bad advertising.

It's a so terrible experience
It took 15 minutes for someone to accept the order, and the distance between me and the driver and the waiting time were not changed for the another 10 minutes. When I cancelled the order, I was charged another 5 pounds. It is simply the worst experience in the past 20 years.
