Suddenly receiving intrusive pop-up ads that I can’t click out of. Awful addition with the new update, especially with how expensive in game currency/packs already are.
Annoying bugs
The game is fun and works mostly but some quest can’t be finished. I can’t complete anything involving equestria girls because the minigame is bugged BADLY. After songs the camera will pan out and then it just stops, you’re stuck there and it doesn’t finish. Only way to get out is to pause and leave which doesn’t save any progress which sucks because the gems and coins you spent on the costume is now wasted. Sometimes you can even see your character stuck dancing.
Multiple bugs
This game was part of my childhood and I came back to it for the nostalgia and I’m feeling disappointed. It’s frustrating to have pop up ads that mute the game audio, but the biggest issue is the glitch in Equestria Girls where you’re stuck after finishing the songs. I just don’t understand how there are such glaring performance issues.
It’s fun but some stuff is way to expensive
The game overall is amazing it’s fun it’s cute all of that but why is some of the stuff so expensive I remember as a kid deleting the game because it’s not expensive at the start but all of a sudden it’s gets really expensive and you can barely pay for stuff please consider my review.

do not download this app
some fun aspects, getting your favorite ponies and making a unique town. however, the downsides of this purely greedy app overweigh any positives. all of the event ponies are virtually impossible to get. 800+ gems is $30 in real life, and 800 gems is impossible to get. it takes months to get even 400. the main downside is it does not save your progress anymore. i lost my progress of 5 years, easily (and stupidly) spent over $500 on this app, just for all of my hard work to be gone all because i needed a new device. they removed the feature to link your account and now you have to lose all of your hard work. even when i reached out to gameloft to fix it, no reply. do not get this game, isn't worth the trouble.
Great game but needs bug fixes
Great game overall, but desperately needs some bug fixes, including: 1) the issue where the game basically freezes when you finish playing the equestria girls mini game & it doesn't give you credit for your playthrough of any song, but still /counts/ your playthrough (meaning you then have to wait the allotted time before replaying... after getting no credit for your initial playthrough). There are a few quests that call for you to play the mini game to proceed, including one for the crystal empire (which is unskippable), so this is the biggest bug I've run into, as it essentially soft locks you progress-wise. 2) small bug, but Granny Smith's default pose in the fashion boutique is turned around, lol - it's kinda funny, but I don't think it was on purpose. 3) One more small bug I've run into, but when you click the button to send twilight to go gather materials (ex. the glasses needed to purchase Svengallop) works immediately rather than giving the player a small amount of time to cancel the request before following through. Not a huge issue, but, again, not something I think is purposeful seeing as no other pony has that issue afaia. Like I said, it's a great game otherwise, just needs a little maintenance!
Glitch
Hello just want to say that the little game of equestria girls is completely glitch. Cause when the song end. It doesn’t go back to the menu and I am stuck looking at stupid wall. And the song doesn’t end. I was wanting to get sombra but bcz of the glitch it’s like I never did the mini game.
FUN - but …
a pretty fun game overall. i redownloaded it for nostalgia reasons - but found it to be significantly more glitchy than the last time i played it. such as the equestria girls mini game drags on after each song (and won’t end) and by quitting it, objectives aren’t marked as completed despite completion. i also wish there was a way to save accounts on this game or make them transferable across different devices - otherwise whats the point of spending money in-game (if you’re that type of player)???

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this game from a young age and even now as I’m 19 it’s just a fun thing to do especially as im just remembering all of these amazing things, but personally. I find it very dissatisfying when for certain tasks i literally have to wait 4+ hours and to skip through the tasks it always changes on the gem count. An hour task can get skipped with 1 gem or sometimes 10, I just wish there was more consistency as I would love to genuinely be able to play for a good hour or so, but I’m literally always just having to wait.

Been playing for months but recently i’ve been receiving ad’s in the middle of gameplay or just scrolling around my map. Yes i can skip it but why does it have to appear every time i join or play after 5 minutes? It’s very annoying for a free game, you already make us watch 80+ videos for a mere pony.

The game is really fun although the game needs you to spend money to get good ponies like celestial and of my ponies always shine green every 5 seconds which is really disappointing. My game also randomly glitches during games and sometimes at the end of a Equestria girls song it just keeps on going with no notes to play so I have to leave after all of my progress

Freezes and no way to report
This game was great until the last update. Constant glitching and freezing and not getting rewards. There is no way to report issues. When you try to go through the proper channels you are asked to enter information from drop downs that don’t apply. Broken links when trying to report issues.
Amazing but one small glitch
Love this game and I’ve been playing it on and off for most of my life!! The main glitch I keep encountering is with the equestria girls dance mini game, every time I play without sound on it seems the end results of the game won’t show up/the game gets stuck on the last segment and never ends and I end up having to fully close the app and re open it to get it working again. I’ve lost a lot of bits from this, meaning I’ve selected certain outfits that give the multiplying points and pay for them just for the game to not even end itself properly and then I have to close the app fully to make it work and it doesn’t even give me my points or register I played the mini game but still makes me wait and hour to do the song again!! I hope this was understandable but this glitch has made me avoid that part of the game all together, which sucks bc I love the equestria girls mini game! Pls look into this bug!! For some reason the only thing I can think of that’s causing it is simply bc my volume wasn’t on bc that’s the only time this happens. Sometimes I’m watching smth while I play so I don’t always have the volume on.
There’s a lot wrong with this game and my previous review was deleted by the developer.
I download this game around 2020 to 2022 and my main issues were that I couldn’t get notifications also watching an ad sometimes results in absolutely nothing and wastes your time. I decided to delete it eventually because it just took up a lot of space as well. I wrote a review and they told me to reach out through email, to which I never got a response. Coming back to see my previous rating and review missing was weird because I definitely didn’t delete it.
Good game, but I have a suggestion.
This is an incredible game. It’s quite entertaining. There are a few glitches I have every time I open the app after the last update, but nothing too serious, except when I play the mine cart game or the Equestria Girls dancing game, it sometimes freezes and skips and makes me miss points that I would have otherwise gotten. Additionally, I finished the Lock n Dart event that ended today in the top 150 and haven’t received my rewards yet (Lilac Hippogriff, Elegant Hippogriff Statues, and 25 crystal coin tokens). Now, the game is still incredible, but there are some glitches that need worked out, and I have a suggestion on how to make the social aspect on the game better. There should be a feature for friends to send gems and bits to each other along with the social hearts. I have two accounts on the game, and one of them I don’t ever use, but I don’t want those gems I have to go to waste and wish I could transfer them to my other account that I play daily. The reason I don’t use that account is because it’s on my old iPad and it’s a few years old, so the progress I have on my phone account is better, and it feels pointless to have both accounts if I can’t transfer things between them.

Equestria girls mini game is bugged
Fun game but whenever I play the equestria girls mini game it just doesn’t end? The music stops I don’t get any more notes but the characters keep restarting the dance and I can only exit by quitting. I get non of the rewards or benefits and I still have to wait for the timer to end. It’s really annoying :/
They added more ads
It used to be no ads unless YOU pick “watch ad” for whatever reason. Now they feed you ads while you're doing normal things in the game.
Amazing, but Needs Some TLC
I had this game when I was a teenager, and was heartbroken when I lost my progress and put off redownloading it, but after having it again for a little bit now I really do love it just as much as before! I purchased the Celestial Membership package and was very pleased with it and how it’s helping me quickly rebuild my lost progress. There are however a few things about this game I have noticed. The general UI has not changed significantly, everything is basically the same from my recollection. I also believe that editing the city should be a little easier. Buildings and decor should be rotatable, there should be more clean up options. I’m also a firm believer that the recurring debris in open areas should be nixed from the game. Sprites and bats, I understand, but having large rocks reform feels punishing to the people who are simply playing the game and trying to expand their towns. The shops always seem to be peddling the latest (and very expensive) ponies that only whales can afford, making the store cluttered and disorganized for free to play users and people progressing through the base story line. When I open my store I want to see the relevant ponies for my progress, not whatever the corporate leaders want us to buy. The app also suffers from some frame stuttering. I’m not playing on an old device, so it’s definitely not my phone being overwhelmed. The real life currency for gems is very inflated. Some ponies, who aren’t even significant or really unique cost over $50 USD. I understand whales and dolphins keep this app afloat, but some of the prices are really out there. I remembered the real life currency options being up there, but never like this. Perhaps I’m misremembering. But! There have been such great improvements for the social menu and profiles! I’m happy to see that people can easily friend each other now and customize their profiles better. As always, the models and art assets are phenomenal. Events have great rewards and pony designs. It’s clear the dev team is very talented and dedicated to this game. I hope they can get the resources needed to improve the game even further.

This is my favorite app. I’ve had it for years and years since I was younger it’s been one of my favorite games and still being up-to-date which is awesome because you don’t see friendship is magic stuff anymore this is one of the best games ever

new ads creating bugs
i loved this game as a kid and rediscovered it a few months ago, but since adding popup ads the game has gotten buggy and annoying to play. any time an ad plays (which is pretty often now) the game audio completely cuts out and the game becomes laggy. the ads make it difficult to travel between places and activities, and also make for annoyingly slow gameplay. i’m debating deleting the app just due to this fact
Issues with equestria girls.
Game has been great expect for the fact a lot of the times at the end of the song the game freezes and you have to leave without getting any of the rewards.
I love this game
I was wondering can you add a day and night cycle and have the ponies go to sleep at night and wake up during the day. Only the ones that are not working and not on a quest and make the higher in stars in your ponies the quicker their working finish and bigger reward.
bug in MLPEG game
Love the game!! Just reporting an issue. I’ve lost 15 gems and 4000+ bits due to this bug. After the song finishes, it doesn’t cut to the scoreboard. The minigame doesn’t stop even though there’s no more notes to press. Please fix this!
Equestria girls dance bug
The majority of the game runs fine and it’s wonderful playing it again however there is a bug with the equestrian dance game. After a song the song never ends and just stays at the playing screen and you can’t redeem any rewards or points from playing the game. It a little frustrating

Please make the in-app purchases less ridiculously worthless and expensive. Please guarantee rewards for the ad-reward system. Please make the events more accessible to those who aren’t constantly on the game. Please guarantee rewards to the quests and work done in game (there’s a glitch in that process). Please make it possible to buy other currencies with bits, like gems and event currencies. Please make the boosts in events more accessible, as buying them with real money is absurd. Mini quests for event boosts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time to whoever might read this, unlike the unappreciated, wasted time I’ve spent on this godforsaken addicting app.
IT KEEPS GLITCHING
Okay, so I love this game a lot, but after the new update everything has been super glitchy. I tried multiple times to play the equestria girls game but the end wouldn’t load! It would just take my money, let me play, then freeze and I’d have to exit the whole thing. But when I try to play the same song, it says that I already did so I have to wait like 3 more hours! And it didn’t show me any of my progress on the bar (where you can win ponies after the game) because it would freeze before I could even get there. The mine game has also been super glitchy…

I love this game ever since I was a child but I would appreciate if the equestria girls mini song game had some of the other movie sound tracks like rainbow rock or unleash the magic and I would also love to have my interactions with the mane six and maybe learn a backstory or have an interactive mini cooking game with pinky pie or flying game with rainbow dash

I love this game, it’s fun, I like the ponies, I’ve been playing it for a long time. But the updates take up so much storage! It’s eventually going to take over my whole iPad but I’m scared to delete and redownload in case I can’t get my game back. I need help with that. Otherwise, nice game to check in on every few hours. It would be fun to have more songs in the equestria girls minigame. I’d like more old events to come back because there’s lots of ponies I don’t have.

Amazing game but definitely needs some improvement.
I really love this game, I used to play it when I was younger and recently decided to pick it up again. The mini games are fun, there’s so many colorful and unique characters, and it’s just fun to watch your favorite ponies walk around the town and interact with others. The only main issues I have though, is one, everything is too expensive :(!! I feel like this game is practically “pay to win”, or “pay to collect most ponies” because why are some characters hundreds of not a thousand gems?!?!? There are even shops/decorations that cost a lot of gems. Additionally, I could be wrong, but, I think there are also characters/decor that you can ONLY get in bundles paid with REAL money. Second, I really hope they fix and/or find a way to transfer account data soon. I know a lot of people have an issue with this and it’s disheartening when you get a new device and you can’t play this game on it because your account is practically glued to your old device. Third, It would be nice if there were more locations on the map…? This game has been out for years, yet there’s only roughly 6 areas you can go to on the map. Now, maybe I haven’t unlocked something or what, but- There’s so many areas and characters we could unlock! Like Yakyakistan, cloudsdale, manehatten, the underwater kingdom from the mlp movie (+hypogriff mountain), the area where the kirin live, and SO much more!!! Gems and Coins Supply
I wanted to comment wondering why some ponies have to reside in places that differs from the one in their character profile? Example: Fancy Pants needing to be put in Ponyville when we only see him in Canterlot. And another thing, the price system for ponies. I’m a bit surprised that Cadence costed less gems than Shining Armour (or like side characters with no help to the overall plot- Diamond Tiara) when she’s literally one of the four princesses??? I want a chance for my little sister to be able to actually get more ponies, but everything is hard to get seeing as the prices for the ponies for gems and coins are too high and slows the game development, which doesn’t make it as fun. You have to wait hours, some even 12 hours for a pony to complete their task and it seems like all the game is designed for is to wait and spend money that we don’t have. I would love for everything to make sense and stay true to being a game for kids to actually play properly. We want a chance to really get the ponies, have them really interact with shops, places, everything! Make My Little Pony into My Little Pony!
