What people like
- Clear monthly view shows your whole schedule.
- Easy to manage multiple family calendars.
- Simple interface that is easy to read.
What they complain about
- Events randomly disappear or get deleted.
- No search function to find events.
- Support is unresponsive and hard to reach.
- Ads are annoying and interrupt usage.
Have used it 15+ years!
*The* best Monthly-view calendar! You can choose to link it to the native Apple calendar (I do) and yet it is much more practical than it. Various adjustment options are built-in, to modify the view to your liking.
Very disappointed
The Apple upgrade is not compatible with new iOS .. multiplied duplicate events that cannot be deleted or modified
Great app
I really like this app but I wish you could choose different colours for different events. Unless you can and I just can figure it out 😔

Been using this app for years
ETA: 6/2/2025 - lately I’ve been receiving the message “CANNOT SAVE EVENT” when I need to change something on calendar. I’m hoping this is a temporary glitch? This app is probably my most used app. It is an excellent and simple to use calendar. I love being able to see the entire month along with seeing how each of my days is scheduled. I’m surprised there are not more reviews for it. The calendar can handle both my husband and my shared calendar, my work calendar, and my son’s schedule. I’m able to customize each of the calendars in a different color to view easily. Thanks for this app. I hope support does not expire for it any time soon. 5 stars.
Events disappeared
All events entered directly into this app all disappeared on July 29th, 2025. So all events from 2019 onward. No one has responded from this app yet.
Nice calendar!
I have been using this calendar for a while and really like it. The only thing missing would be a search feature so I can completely abandon the apple calendar.
使いやすかたが
予定入れても表示されない 2025/10/03
ずっと使っています
シンプルでずっと使っているのですが、アップデートの影響なのかスケジュールが全て消えてしまいました。過去のものも消えているのですがこれは仕様ですか？
Almost perfect
If only there was a quicker way to pick calendars it would be perfection. Having multiple calendars, going into settings to enable/disable each time is cumbersome. Otherwise a great app well worth the small price
Stopped Syncing
I have used the Moca calendar app on both my iPhone and iPad for years. I have always been happy with the app and have even recommended it to colleagues and family members. BUT, yesterday it stopped syncing between my iPhone and iPad. I would enter info on my iPhone, but it did not carry over and sync to my iPad. I was entering information about my daughters work hours. Normally, I would have given the app a five star review but unfortunately I can’t do that now. I cannot find any way to contact the developers. I hope they will see this review and CONTACT ME TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. Once the problem is resolved, I will gladly update it to a five star review.
Better than default calendar
I think it’s a little buggy right now. But overall better than the calendar apple gives you
Used to be good
One of the updates messed up all of the birthdays I had saved in my calendar. Now everything that I have saved as “all day” is showing as 2 days instead. Why? Even when I try to update it, if I select all day, everything is 2 days instead. Please fix it.
Simple, LOVE IT
Love that I can see everything.
App transfer
I’ve used this calendar for years, got a new phone and so far I can’t transfer the information from the calendar to my new phone. There’s no way to contact the developer and Apple gives me the run around about using iTunes to download and transfer then I’m told I can’t. Very disappointed that I’m loosing so much and now have to start over. Anyone have an idea for a calendar app that will transfer information when you purchase a new phone because this one just transfers birthdays and Anniversaries.
Please add web version
I absolutely love the look and customization of this app! And I have tried countless calendars trying to find the perfect fit before this. This app comes the closest with the exception of not having a web version. Please add!!
IOS18 Update
Once I downloaded the update all my appointments disappeared. I have reached out to MOCA for assistance but have not heard back
Bug issue
I really like this app. Lately though, I have been receiving a message “cannot save” when I try to add or update an event. It doesn’t happen all the time but is becoming more frequent. I am rating the app with 3 stars because of this problem. Once it is fixed, I will change my rating to 5 stars. Thank you for the app.
Widget size
The app itself is great. However, would you please offer small, medium and large sized widgets. At present only a small widget is provided. A widget that displays an entire week would be good as well. Like I said, the app itself is great. No problems there.
Erases events
I used to love this app, but recently past events just disappear. When I put them back in, they are on the calendar for a few seconds, then disappear. Very troubling since I use it for tax purposes. M
Month view w/ day view is great.Need “ Search” option.
Easily readable and very clean. Love it. 4 stars for now. Need search function.
Date events disappeared
King I’m losing clients and medical appts bc added events and appts just disappear .. there is no customer service here !! The HELP does not exist .. they have covered it up with nonsense no contact whatsoever
Almost perfect
We need a search function and please fix the Daylight Savings Time bug! Everything gets shifted and hour and then I miss my appointments!!!!!
Love it!
This calendar is awesome! The number one thing that stood out to me was you do not have to click on the day to find out what you wrote on that day. And now that the background view can be adjusted to your phone. I love the dark view :)
Used to be my Go To App
Events do not always show up. Sometimes repeating and duplicated events do not show up. The worst was that sometimes the same date will appear two days in a row (for example the other day my app showed two November 6’s in a row which threw off everything. Used to love this and be so user friendly now I have no confidence it has captured everything and our family shares our five calendars so hard to know for sure.
Need help from developer
Hi- I love your app but the last few days i can’t add anything in. It closes the app out when I tap the (+) sign. I did the update. 🤷🏻♀️
ios 13 problems
Recently does not work with ios 13 and updates are not loading.
use it for many year
use it for many year the item is missing is search button and after update it always get freeze
Wrong date
Initially I was upset about a mistake in the calendar dates. I restarted my phone and it was fixed. The best part is the prompt reply and concern from Moca. Five stars
floods your phone with spam
Beware installed yesterday. repeatedly sends me ads for a vpn. no way to stop it. uninstalled it today, Also tells you can buy a “no ads” version for $1.99. crapware.
Fix for iOS 12?
App just shuts down with iOS 12. Please fix :)
Suggestion
Please add “search” function to make the app perfect.
Stop erasing my info!!
I LOVE this app and have used it for years, but my calendars keep getting erased from months back. I need my info saved, it’s the reason I input it, make it stop! I need to be able to look back to 6 months ago and 2 years ago and see the dates of events and appointments. I would give it 5 stars all day long but I need this info and it erases it daily!
Please make this for Android
I will be switching to android very soon. This app is one of my main apps that doesn’t have a good alternative on android. The. I think view in this is perfect as is the scrolling and the ability to view almost 3 months in the scrolling view. All the android apps scroll on month at a time. Please please make this for android.
Missing functions
Thus app has no search function and no widget. This kills it for me.
Excellent product
Waaay better than the iPhone calendar. Better money view. Easier navigation. It's worth the $2.29 for the ad removal.
Used to love it
App suddenly switched my default calendar to “best friend” calendar and will not let me pick a different default. I always used the family default I had created in my Apple calendar because it posts events to all our devices. Now I have to remember to switch it each time. I lost a lot of important dates because I tried to delete the extra calendars that were of no use and evidently my events had been listed with them, unbeknownst to me. So frustrating!!!
Please help
How can I re install ? I’ve had this app for years!
Doesn’t work anymore
I loved this app. Not anymore. And ever since the new update it doesn’t work anymore. I can’t add events. The app closes when trying to add any events. I can delete and re add because then I will lose all my old info. I have to look for a new calendar app now. There is no email or contact info to report this issue. It’s awful.
Very nice Calendar
Works as it should accept the Ads came back a year later. Emailed apple and was reimbursed the money. The Ads were not a big deal just annoying. Not sure if I will purchase it again.
Can’t add location
I’ve been using this app for years, but recently when I try to add the same location for multiple events in the same month, it disappears. The event is still there, but the location is gone. I’m not sure what’s wrong but it’s a bit frustrating. Please advise.. thanks.
Is this not on Android??
I’m switching from iPhone to Pixel and don’t see this in the Play Store, is this not available for Android?
Messes up now.
Used to love this app but noticed this past year that it’ll input event on the wrong day and the time too. Now looking for a new app. Had a few events disappear on me. No longer a reliable calendar.
Great app but...
Great app… I’ve been using CalenMob on all my devices and the sync is terrible… so i switched to Moca. Need a version for iPad Mini please!
Beautiful but randomly loses sync
Beautiful interface, would be perfect but after a few weeks of use has developed issues. Randomly would go blank and lose sync with the native calendar. Cannot re-link with any calendar unless one restarts the iPhone. Using iPhone 6 with single Google calendar. After several episodes of having to restart the phone just to restore the calendar, have given up in frustration and changed over to CalenGoo which works brilliantly. A shame, as the app is amazing when it works. Hopefully this bug may be ironed out in future versions for other users experiencing same problem.
