What they complain about

Excellent app
If you’re a geek who loves data and information, this app is it! So much data to discover. Worth what ever they charge for it.
The Best
I’ve tried several other suntracker apps, though not for awhile because sun surveyor is so good. I have the widget always up, and use the app for planning sun related photography and scheduling. It works great.
Bad gps/time of year data
It’s a nice and useful app but the long term problem I see is wrong time info. I’m on the west coast and it gives me east coast data even after refreshes and even though it picks up west coast address. Also it says that golden hour is at 7:30pm when in fact it’s at 5:30pm as it’s February. I’ve seen these issues for a long time and it’s still there on 2/28/2025.
Amazing
A must have
Needs Apple Watch app
Would be a lot more complete if there was an Apple Watch companion app so we can have a complication with golden hour or whatever else we want for the local area.
Widget constantly says “no GPS.”
I have location permissions set to always allow, but the widget will say “no GPS” unless I manually open the app to refresh it.
Fantastic
There’s so much functionality built into this app. Anyone who looks up and and has an ounce of curiosity will want to use it.
Map
Not as good as android version
Why no milky way core tracking like android?
Love Sun Surveyor
Great app!! Irreplaceable!! Have used for years. Nothing like it. All you could want to know about sun, moon, rising, setting, and all in between. Big thanks to the developers!
Good but I’ve notice the live view isn’t accurate
This app is very helpful but only thing I have to say is the pictures show the moon and sun on the point but right now it isn’t for me any that’s pretty critical when planning for shots. Please help me out with that. I was hoping paying $10 from the lite version I’d have all great features
Love this app…but
I love this app. One feature that used to work, but lately hasn’t, is location searching. I copy/paste a location coordinates from google maps and normally it takes me to the spot. However lately, it just gives me a black screen. Please fix!
Incredible tool
Incredibly useful for figuring out where & when the sun (and moon) will be somewhere. This enables all sorts of great photo and video planning. The UX is amazing - easy to use and packed with features.
Worthwhile Upgrade
This is a great app. In photography light is everything, and with this you always know where the source of light will be from.
It does what it says.
Live view is my favorite feature.
Top App
Just Gets Better
I’ve used this app in the US, Europe, Australia and other locations. I’ve had it for several years and with each update it just gets better. A jewel in the world of apps.
I love this app
It’s just fantastic. The interface is easy but it’s still rich with features, I haven’t scratched the surface. I got it to get some context as we visited various standing stones in Ireland but it shines as a tool for architecture, building and also just learning the local cosmos. A great value, highly recommend.
Great App but needs support for IOS8
Great app use it all the time when hiking and found photography. It really does need to be updated to IOS 8 and for the Iphone6 and 6 plus.
Amazing app. Accurate, useful!
I love this app. I hate getting a cheap app that does not work right or is inaccurate. That is not the case with this one.
Map
