עיתון חשוב. אבל זה לא מצדיק לשים למנויים משלמים פרסומות זדוניות מהסוג שמנסה לשלוח את המשתמש להכניס סיסמאות באתרים זדוניים. VPN טוב חוסם את הזבל הזה ואני לא אוהב להשתמש באפליקציה הזו בלי חוסם כזה. כן כן, הפרסומות זה חלק מהמימון של העיתון. א. לא מתאים לי. ב. לא מצדיק פרסומות זדוניות.

Update Sep 27, 2024: RECENT VERSION KEEPS CRASHING
This review is on the app, not its content. You forced an update to a version that crashes ALL THE TIME. To start - do not force version update. It is not cool. It’s not your choice to make, but the user’s. Forcing users to upgrade to such an unstable version is absolutely outrageous. Once again your app quality proves to be poor.

מנוי יותר משלושים שנה בעשרים השנה. אחרונות חי בארה״ב נהנה להיות מנוי של העיתון מספר נושאים ראויים למחשבה נוספת 1. לא תמיד הפונט מותאם לפלאפון 2.יותר ממספר פעמים המערכת מבקשת ממני להזדהות די מטריד 3.יש מקום לשים דגש בנושאים עתידניים של טכנולוגיה תרבות מוזיקה וספרים 4 חלק התרבות טוב אבל ניתן להרחיב אותו ולאו דווקא לתרגם כתבות בעיתון בניו-יורק טיימס אפשר להיות יצירתי ולשוטט בעיתונות בעולם להביא לקוראים 5 לדעתי חלק של דעות לא מספיק מגוון די חד צידי ולפעמים חוזר על עצמו 6 קשה למצוא דעות של אורחים כמו בwall street journal 7. ניתוח פוליטי יהיה טוב באשר הוא אבל כדאי שיהיה לא גוון נוסף לפחות לקרוא גם את הדעה של האחר 8.טיולים ומקומות בעולם רצוי להרחיב 9 ספורט אישי ובריאות לוקה בחסר ונטול תוכן יש נושאים בגיל המעבר ולאחר מכן שעצות יכולות לעזור 10.אוהב את העתון כל חיי מנוי ולא משנה איפה חיי בעולם תמשיכו לייצר תכנים טובים
Is any developer actually using the app?
Notifications have never really worked properly for years. Any notification you dismiss in the Lock Screen, pops up a message for that notification in the app. Half the time clicking a past notification, no article opens, either due to previously dismissed notifications or for no reason at all.
Newspaper is excellent, app ads are bad
Haaretz is a world class reliable source of news. The banner ad upon opening the app is extremely annoying. There is sometimes no way of closing it so prevents displaying the news.

Subscriptions stopped working for US numbers
I had an App Store subscription for Haaretz, I’m in the US and have a US number. The app or the website stopped honoring that subscription, and did not send the text (SMS) to the US number on my account, so, basically, I wasted the subscription money as the content is not accessible.

האפליקציה כבדה מאד ועל כן לעיתים איטית מאד. בהשוואה לדוגמה לאפליקציית N12 . ניתן לקרוא את העיתון באפליקציה רק אנכית ולא במאוזן. אפשרות קריאת המאמרים לפי דרוג ונושאים מתאימה ונוחה.

Very biased
I like differing opinions from all sides, but this even colors the news stories with subjective remarks as to motive of IDF shooter in one article and other subjective innuendos throughout. This is strictly a hit piece against Netanyahu and the new government. Additionally it is very difficult to cancel a subscription. I’ve been trying without success. Beware automatic renewal!
Haaretz iTunes app
The app is not so great. It has bugs here and there. But the paper is excellent and a beacon of hope!
Unstable app
Crashes many times in my updated iPhone. They say they fixed bugs but it is all the same. Too many features make the app heavy and too much refreshing occurs when you enter an article.

סה״כ זוהי אפליקציה נוחה לשימוש, עיצוב טוב, ופיצ׳רים טובים. הדבר היחיד שמפריע לי זה שגם למנויים (קרי: אנשים שמשלמים) עדיין מופיעות פרסומות ואני גם צריך לסגור אותן אקטיבית.

All negative all the time
You won't find a kind word about anything. For a publication that's supposed to represent the "thinking people" they have adopted a pretty sour attitude. Would be nice to have some positive content every once in a while. (oh, and the app itself is great, nice navigation, easy to get around and read. Just a shame about the endlessly bad news)

The app has a huge banner that read that. I didn’t like the shameless self promotion. The biggest problem with the app is a huge 1 pager banner ad when you open it with surprisingly located close/dismiss buttons. From a technical standpoint the is actually fine.
Great app that crashes occasionally
Best news site in Israel. Crashes occasionally but less now than in the past. An ad free version either for subscribers or as a paid add-on would be awesome.

Don't download the latest upgrade, many articles are now pay only
Excellent app but crashes all the time
Normally I would give you 5/5. But in the past few weeks the app crashes every 2 seconds. Please fix it! It's unbearable! Other than that, keep up the good work!!
