Great app!
This app has removed any need for me to ever use the default calculator app. It works so much better and is so much more useful. Must have app

Weird
Why is everything shoved on either side of the screen? And where is the clear all button? And why does it display the calculation changing as you type. Weird…

I very rarely leave a written review but this Calculator has single handendly improved the quality of my life out of any app on my phone. It is SO useful to math out stuff on the go as well as having a graphing calculator built in. Thank you so much for making this <3
Calculating Electric Utility Costs

Best Simple Calculator Ever
This is what Apple should have done to begin with. Really great calculator, simple, but very effective. Could use a history feature, but honestly it’s still the best. Thank you for keeping it free.

Almost perfect!
This app would be perfect if it worked with split view on iPad. Let me clarify, technically works, but when you try to use it the whole keyboard comes up so it takes up 75% of the screen, defeating the purpose. Besides that, its great!
Subscribe for a..... simple graph calculator?
Pro: App is ok, so I will give credit where credit is due. I use it maybe... once a month when a basic calculation requires more than talking to siri. It is better than the native ios calculator. I am too lazy to find another app to quench my software payment grievances related to this app. Yes, this review is mainly a rant about the subscription service. But before that: The instant graphing is nice. The are other alternatives like Desmos and Quick Graph + that have more more functionality and graphing ability but the buttons are smaller lol, so I guess in reality that is the selling point here. The Rant: I just wanted to let the developer know that I do appreciate the vibe of the app but I perceive the subscription service with a sense of disgust. I understand that subscriptions make predicting your income easier but on the flip side it makes it more difficult for the customer who now has to keep track of the subscription and might forget since it is just a calculator (which is probably the real intended purpose). I highly doubt the upkeep argument. This is a basic calculator with some graphing ability, not a new content factory like media, netflix. The customer might also have their history erased if they don’t pay. Nice Yeah, and it is true I have not subscribed to the calculator so some of this is speculation and might not be 100% a c c u r a t e... but the important part where I am trying to help here is that this is my perception of the app, which in reality, is more important than the truth because I am the potential customer. You can take this with a grain of salt. I imagine you are also pretty lazy like me and probably just like “Awwwww, cute, sorry but I am too lazy to even think about this anymore” Honestly, I enjoyed reviewing this because it is just so insane to me. The real thing that probably motivated my relatively low rating is just my hate for subscription payment models in general. Moleskin apps immediately come to mind... But even cars now, BMW is making people subscribe for heated seats... So yeah please, money is nice, I would pay if it was one time but this just ruins the vibe just say it out-loud to your friends: “I subscribe to a calculator” You wouldn’t pay for this either because you would be embarrassed
graph control difficulties
it is very hard to control the veiw of the graphical interface with very small solution like −(x−2)^2+4. i would consider getting pro if this graphical issue wasnt frustrating. would also be a huge avantage to be allowed to long press numbers to easely change the last digit to the selected power or fractionnal form Answer: That pinch that you say if very frustrating i would send you a screen record if i could. A soon as the data gets very dense it is very hard to zoom in i have to let go both my fingers at the same time to even get some hope of holding the way i zoomed in.

One of the best, but please have an option for dark mode even when iOS 13’s dark mode is off
This is one of the most straightforward and useful calculator apps I’ve ever used, but can you guys please add back an option for the Kalkyl app to be dark mode independently of iOS 13’s Light or Dark mode? Prior to iOS 13 the Kalkyl app always had a dark background and I loved it but now it changes to a light background based on the system’s dark or light mode. The light mode makes the app less appealing and harder to use for me, so I would appreciate it if we got a manual toggle for independent dark mode on Kalkyl.

Bug
2206*(0.67%+1.17%) error result If it can not parse the expression, you should give the error message instead of the error result.
Hard to know how to use.
It's not easy to konw how to use it to ordinary people like me.
Good enough
Help me a lot and have a nice icon
why the fee for the year and not forever ??!
why should I pay for a subscription, if you want to pay it not for a year but forever, then in this case the payment makes sense and you can give you the best possible rating!
Dark mode on day 1
Still the only calculator app I use daily. Love how easy it is to make a quick graph.
Forget it it’s crappy
This calculator is t worth a crap don’t know why I can’t have my original one
Great App One Flaw
Overall this is a great calculator that I would definitely recommend, especially because it’s free! As another reviewer said I liked it so much that I deleted the default one. The only flaw is that the shake to undo is finicky at best. Other than that, amazing app!
m2
hello please how to do per cent??? thanks
非常不好
使用很麻烦
Just what I was looking for.
Great replacement for the standard iPhone calculator. Excellent support. I reported a problem and it was fixed the next day. I’ve evaluated many apps for my iPhone and this one is the best by far.
Problem with 3D plot
3D plot became unresponsive. Regardless of the equation I enter, all I get is a flat surface without axes or labels.
Good but
Needs a clear all button
why?
really?! ios 11.2 only for a calculator!
Good call
Missing two basic functions -No clear button or short cut -No search function in support
Favorite calculator for classes
I used this calculator almost everyday in my physics class. It helped a lot on class assignments when my actual calculator went missing. If it wasn’t as power hungry on the device (I think that’s iOS though, since that’s also present in the stock app to a slightly lesser extent), it’d be even better. I do kinda wish there was a landscape view similar to the iPad’s implementation of orientation on larger iPhones. Overall though, it’s my favorite calculator app on iOS!
What's Awesome?
Not this app! Keeps crashing. Useless
Decent graphing app!
Not completely intuitive at first, didn't realize that I had to save the functions to see the graphs (why no auto save?), nor the fact that the little boxes with colors meant function input. 3d graphs work and you can sort of move the graph around a fixed box, but being able to change the angle would be much better. Graphs don't support pinch to zoom either. However, 2d graph appears snappily as you type, great for homework. The "math" function is nice (almost hidden) but why no integration if you have derivatives?
Crashes
On origional iPad, latest iOS. Opens and is on screen for maybe a second and crashes. Simply unusable, please fix this.
Apple Watch support needed
An Apple Watch support would be cool.
Great alternative!
This is how iPhone built in calculator should have been at first place. 3D Touch, Haptic Feedback, 3D Touch cursor function all these basics which didn’t do with their built in calculator app are all present in this app. The feature to swipe down on the = button for previous calculations is gross.
Crashes on launch
It might be a wonderful program but I will never know, as it crashes at launch.
Wish
I wish I had this in collage, makes graphing easy
absturz ipad 1
nach dem letzten update stürzt die app auf dem ipad 1 (ios5) kurz nach dem startbildschirm ab. auf dem ipad 2 läufts.
Please Fix
The Update Did NOT fix the crashing on ios 5 PLEASE fix this it ( the app )sounds really cool and i need to use it for future and near present work, projects etc. Thanks :D
