Pro version is costly
I would have purchased the pro version if it would have been 99 INR. The app the great keep up team solves
Story?
After the update, it doesn't save history.
It’s a calculator.
It does math.
Nice little calculator
Good alternative basic calculator to the Apple calculator (that keeps freezing). It’s working great.

Almost Perfect
This app would be a perfect replacement for macOS calc app if they would only let us use a white background for the history while keeping the calc part dark.
A few needed upgrades
I use the calculator quite frequently due to the nature of my work. I would like to be able to open multiple instances of the calculator at one time in order to run multiple calcs on display at one time. I also, like the history. However, I want to be able to close the window and have that reset the history so I can re-open it and not worry if I’ve cleared the info in which I last used it.
+/- missing or consider upgrade?
I’ve been using as a replacement for the MacOS calculator due to history/paper tape changes. Unfortunately, one of the keys I need frequently is +/- (which changes a calculation from positive to negative or vice versa). This app doesn’t seem to have that key (and/or it requires an upgrade?). For me it is a pretty basic function. Would appreciate confirmation of whether this is even included in the "solve+" option, though I doubt I would pay extra just for this one key that I use all the time. Will probably need to delete the app and find something else.
Love it!
it's my go to for calculations. Does more than the one built in the OS.
Stop asking me everyday to upgrade
It’s a calculator app. Stop distracting me from my work trying to upsell.
Bug in exchange rate
The RMB exchange rate should show at least 2 decimal places (now, only 1 decimal place). Could you please fix it soon? Thanks

Questions about accuracy
I really like this calculator, and use it all the time.. but, it produces different results from other calculators (or non-use of a calculator) in some cases. Enter -2^2 in Solves, and you’ll get 4. Enter -2² in Calculator (Apple’s app), and you’ll get -4. Apple’s is correct: -2² can be expressed as -(2²), while Solves interprets this as (-2)². Without using a calculator, using the order of operations, you can verify that Apple’s interpretation is correct.
I love Solves
I love everything about this calculator. It’s the best.
Mac version needs feature update
The iPhone version vs the Mac version is very close. One comment I would have is on the Mac version, make it easier to switch between the calculator and the conversion groups. Just add a calculator group in the list of groups. Why do I need to go up to conversion to get out of the calculator. The iPhone app does this very good. But the Mac version is a bit clunky
nice app
very useful
Requires Purchase for Basic Features
Requires you to pay for an upgrade just for basic scientific calculator feature. Was a nightmare to uninstall as well. Do better
Can not change input text size
Bought the paid version to only change the size of input text after purchase i noticed there is not option to do so
Family Sharing not working
Despite having paid for the full version, family sharing isn’t working for other family members. App can be downloaded on family’s phone, and when restored purchases it isn’t able to find anything.
Was perfect up until… why did you update it?:D
The new update is not good. Where is C and delete?! Why would you ruin something that was perfect before the last update or so. I know there is certain space you need for numbers and stuff but before the last update I like it had delete/c/= … I don’t remember how it was exactly but I just happen to open the app and it is reorganized . Muscle memory does not need change :D
Very Good!
I was looking for an upgrade to the native Apple calculator that would provide a history of calculations (a tape). Solves does this well and works on iPhone, iPad and Mac. I almost stopped using it because of no clear or clear all key, but the developer built in the clear function as a swipe up. You can also turn the clear key on in settings if you want a physical key. Now it’s exactly the calculator I wanted!
Functions not correct.
The divide by functions as subtraction. On the keyboard and GUI.
Also make a Calculator for inch feet calculation
I love your , its really helpful in calculation. It’s a request please also make a Calculator for inch-feet calculation , as its very difficult to calculate in inch-feet with the simple calculator. No problem if its in paid or subscriptions Please develop with in app or develop different app for inch-feet calculation. As soon as possible.
Great Mac Calculator
Solves is a much better calculator than the current native Mac calculator. The native Mac calculator is too small with no physical size adjustment available and it goes grey when you click on it to use it. Solves is bigger and has an attached window for the history or tape. There are no ads and no glitches. Get this one if you need a good, basic calculator.
Bring back the old layout !!
I want to switch back to the old layout but cannot find “Control button” option in Settings app. Can you please elaborate a bit more for me to find that option ? PS : The app is superb !
Free?
Just curious as to why this was made completely free a few years ago for android but costs money here? I just got an iPhone and finding that everything costs money to use from the App Store. CRaZy
The vibration doesn’t feel strong enough. Could it be increased a bit?
You can set several vibration levels, so it can be adjusted.
App crashing
Crashing while pressing = and clr
Almost perfection for my needs...
(Mac version) I think it is great. The numbers on the tape are nice and crisp now. The numberpad still needs a little better resolution though. Thank you for putting in the effort to create such a great product. :)
Annoying popups
it always baffles how developers in these ages think we love getting popups randomly in their apps. Guess what? People hate popups, and it’s hard to love an app that throws popups when all you want is use it, in this case, get going with a simple calculation. Put a menu item with tips, but stop with this popup madness, please.
The Best!
By far the best general purpose and beyond, calculator I have ever used. The free features are excellent and the Solves+ purchase option is so worth it too. Most developers severely cripple their free variants that it really sours you from wanting to give them any revenue but that wasn’t the case here . I find this an indispensable app that I use nearly every day and across all of my devices. Please consider the in app purchase if you can. I literally don’t know how I would survive without this app, it’s that good in my opinion. Let’s make sure that this doesn’t disappear from the App Store anytime soon.
Question !!
How do you find like sin^-1 or cos^-1 or tan^-1 in this calculator?
Good tool.
My search ends here for a simple calc tool. Most importantly the % values calculated are correct. Couple of suggestions for improvement - 1. Esc key to clear the entries 2. Add the history bar to either side in the compact version of the calc. Good job.
Error
Can you add cuberoot in this application
Best replacement to the stock calculator
Feels similar to stock, but with incredible UX and great customization options, my search ends here.
Features don’t work
App Store description says to swipe right for additional functions and swipe vertically for history. Swiping doesn’t work.
Very useful calculator
I have found the high end calculator that doesn't restrict to simple calculations but goes beyond difficult functions too
New update sucks
I wish you guys didn’t add the equals sign or have the option to change it!
