I used this app for the past 3+ years without issue, open the app and use. Now with the most recent update, it now requires an email. No thanks, so long.
Great app with a bug …
I’ve been using this app for several years. It’s great. When my phone is face down and the app is tracking my sleep, the screen turns off like it’s supposed to. But if I’m listening to music and increase the volume or skip the track, the screen turns on and won’t turn off again until I pick up the phone and put it back down. I’ve had many nights when this has run the battery all the way down. Please fix if possible. Thanks!
Extremely confusing
To start i use an i pad and the layout was just so small and tiny ,also setting an alarm felt like a maze or labyrinth it looked really off and it wouldn’t let me set alarms past right now im probably in the wrong but it was just not for me
Buggy but (barely) usable
I’ve been using this app since 2012 so I have amassed lots of data over the years. Regrettably, Azumio pays very little attention to this app and it hasn’t been updated in a while. [edit 06/02/26]: Azumio completely broke the tag functionality with the latest update. Let’s hope they get it fixed. There is no way to get the sleep data out of the app that I’ve found, even with the Premium version. Supposedly it syncs with the iOS health app but the Health app finds no Sleep Time data to sync so 🤷♂️. Also, it’s extremely buggy. Crashes a lot when trying to update tags, etc. I would move to a different sleep tracking app if I could get the data out of this one.

Awful app
App is not worth (even $2) after switching to iPhone from android I have been very happy. But something like a simple alarm that will override the phone volume is an issue… #EpicFail
Fab but crashing recently
Usually works without problems but theee times recently froze when turning off alarm all at 54 seconds ( when you are supposed to keep your finger on the 2 second timer) have to uninstall and reinstall which is frustrating. Thank you
Not impressed
The alarm doesn’t work correctly — part of the gimmick is it’ll wake you gently so as to allow you to not have sleep recoil. Tell me how playing bursts of sound is doing that because I’m just as tired when waking. Also, allow your users some functionality on things; for example, allow us to record our heart rate when we want in the event we sleep in beyond your “scheduled” reading. And give us day of the week control so we can set the alarm for the days we need it based on our schedule, not the assumption we work the same day/time each week. This is really a bad app for $30 a year but I had no choice since my employer is using a health tracking system that uses this to help us live better and save on insurance.
Heart Rate Integration vanished
The latest update on 4 Sept 2023 , supposedly just bug fixes, has down graded the functionality and now integration with Heart Rate has gone. After many, many years of using this app, which I have to date found excellent, this loss of function is REALLY annoying. Please can it be fixed?
Long time
I started using this app in April of 2014 and have used it almost every weeknight since then. I love the way it wakes me up. I wish I had a way to export all of the data over to my health app though. It only goes back so far.
App keeps crashing
Crashing and not saving data from overnight.
Doesn’t handle multiple sessions per day
It would be nice if the app could handle multiple sessions per 24 hours. Some of us have split sleep sessions per night, and even naps should be tracked if possible.
Great until recently
Crashes instantly since the latest iOS update on my iPhone 7. Has been this way for a month now.
No more heart rate function
I used the heart rate function every morning. Following the last update it’s gone. Very disappointing.
Getting health conscious!
I wasn’t really into “healthy lifestyle” until there was a company program that we actually get paid staying fit. And part of that “staying fit” are ways to improve sleep and being productive and staying healthy. This was app is the accredited app for our program. At first I don’t get it but eventually the program started changing how I view “building a healthy lifestyle”.

Good product to help monitor sleep, that otherwise requires expensive monitors. To go to sleep with my favourite songs and to wake to the sounds of birds, is of itself refreshing. Thank you.
Needs Work
Just downloaded iOS 13 and now this app won’t open. Great! So much for my alarm. Plus, before this issue, I know I often times get up, out of bed, use the restroom and in the morning, this app said I didn’t wake up. Not possible. I look at this information kinda like horoscopes, good for entertainment value but not truly valid.
Often hasn't record when I wake up
I'm very good at turning off alarms, and sleeping through them... (this ap doesn't really go out of its way to wake me in a light sleep mode...) and when I eventually wake up, all the data is lost, and it's not on any more. Happens more than 50% of the time Just recently jumped from 100mg to 160... I have no space left Would not have updated if I'd realised. And that's not including my data. Over 200mg now... disappointing
App does not open! Needs iOS 13 update!
It’s been a year since this app was updated.
Needs work!
I just bought the app 2 days ago so I could link it to my employers health tracker for health and wellness incentives. It worked the first night and no it won’t open at all. I click on the app the starting page pops up and then disappears. This is why I tend to stick to free apps with good reviews, thankfully I’m only out $1.99 bit very frustrating!
Love it mostly
I love the app except that it alway wakes me up 1/2 early. If I wanted to wake that early I’d set my alarm for then 🙁.
App now hangs when I try to set the alarm
I’ve used this app for quite a while with zero issues. Recently my phone blew up and I had to uninstall and reinstall many apps, this being one of them. Now I can’t get past the Tips window that pops up when I try to set the alarm. The screen goes black and the app hangs. I have to force quit it. Very annoying.
Needs up-date
I like what the app can do. What it says is that is is good for sleep problems. I haven’t found an app that notices when the phone is still to note how long it was still and ask it it was charging, away from patron or was it a sleep attack (an unintentional nap caused by narcolepsy). The app description sub-title says something about naps - you can’t read the rest of the description. This app also hasn’t been up-dated in over two years. I’m not willing to buy a subscription when there’s no consistent checking for up dates. Also, when it says in app purchases, it needs to be clarified what the other charges get you, maybe $1.99 gets you Ad-free? $4.99 gets you what? I get that $9.99 is for the monthly subscription & the $29.99 is for the yearly subscription. But why are both of those amounts on their twice? I just need a little more help. The app is very good though.

Alarm doesn’t work any more, thus over sleeping and getting to work late! Just as the other reviewer said, when I pick up my phone in the morning the screen is black and the alarm never sounded ... this does not happen everyday, but multiple times a week. I have had to resort to another alarm in order to reliably wake up. I hope this can be resolved, but I cannot afford testing it out to find out it doesn’t work. I have an iPhone 6 if that helps.
Paid for Ads
I paid for this App a long time ago and a while back started getting ads for the premium service... after I already paid to get rid of ads. Well, I’m annoyed with the push for premium almost every night I launch the app. I paid already, for the 4 pack I believe... why update and require more money? Besides paying to get rid of ads, but still getting ads, the app works as expected and interestingly accurate. I know when I wake up in the middle of the night, it actually has the time recorded.
Money Hungry Update
I’m sorry but updating this app really screwed me over. I paid for this bs. And now you’re wanting me to pay monthly to use the basic features I had since I paid for this app? You can’t use most of the features you use to now so you basically just scammed me. This isn’t what I paid for and I will be looking into getting refunded cause this was wrongfully done by a money hungry company😤.

Great but crashing recently
I have been using this app for over 3 years and it's very useful. However the latest version or two have been crashing out during the night, so of course the alarm doesn't go off at all making it useless. It happens maybe once a week, and especially if I lift it up to wake the display during the night. Can it please be fixed? :)
Update buggy
I’ve used this app every night for six years and recently it stopped playing the soundscape when I set the alarm. It’s too bad because I love this app!
Features Slowly Locked Behind Pay Wall
I got this app years ago and have greatly enjoyed its tracking features and alarm style. However, overtime more and more of the original features of the app are locked behind a paid subscription service. I paid for this app to begin with so the original features of it should be locked behind a pay wall. Soon you’ll just have to out right have a subscription to use the app even.
Great app!
A few things that would improve it greatly: 1) Most important for me would be the ability to change the alarm time mid-session without turning the alarm off! I find it very useful to plan my sleep in multiples of 45 minutes, so if I wake up and by the time I go back to sleep there’s only 30’ left, it would help to be able to add another 15’ or even an hour! 2) It would be nice to be able to edit-say double tap or tap and hold an area on the chart and correct it-like when i forget to tutn it off. There coild be something diff colors) that shows it was edited to preserve integrity. 3) Also if I go back to bed so there are 2 separate sessions for the same night it would be great if they would display stacked. Thanks for a super app!
Failed me
I woke up about 10 minutes before the alarm so I stopped it. The app didn’t calculate my night. There is no data! I searched for info on what to do if I wake up before the alarm thinking maybe I did something wrong, but there is no help or info on this. I downloaded this app AND PAID FOR IT to use in a program for my job which has a reward system and I’m losing points because the app is unreliable. Very disappointed!
Good but ironic app
I've found this app the best compared to others for accuracy (though not infallible as will show you asleep when you were awake), however although it records your different types of sleep, (and luckily they have reinstated giving the totals for each type of sleep so you can add them up yourself) insists on only displaying the time you spent in bed and a meaningless percentage efficiency as huge numbers. Other apps tend to have a single line rather than the lovely more easily understandable bar chart that this one does. Paid for version stores more than 5 days data tho still has ads, I have never paid for subscription. Ironic app that acknowledges and records your sleep but will only tell you in very large numbers the time you're in bed and how efficient it was
Stop sending me notifications
I do not want a 9am notification I can’t turn off telling me to take a picture of breakfast. Even if I did, I wouldn’t get it from such an annoying app. Turn it off please!
Love this app
I'm a very heavy sleeper and this app wakes me up gently at the best time so I don't feel groggy. *Update on latest version. In the iPhone X it has difficulty turning off the alarm and does not go in to take my heart rate immediately. You actually have to go into the setting of the app then get out for the app to recognise the camera to take your heart rate. I loved this app but lately with the latest iOS 11 update it has not functioned as smoothly as expected. I have the version (Sleep Time+) that came along with my Argus purchase but I feel that it is no better then the free version. It's intigration is not as smooth as I would hope when paying for a bundled version. *Uodate: 02/18/2020 now on iPhone 11 Pro Max lately with latest update I can no longer just open the app individually. It shuts down but stays open in the background. Only allows me to use in the Argus app. Is this because I got the bundle? That’s sketch I’ve used this for years and it’s the only alarm I’ve ever found to wake me up without being groggy. Also I’ve purchased and paid money for 3 apps in 11 years and this is one of them. I am a loyal customer because I love Azumio’s layout on all of its apps except maybe Mama Calories. Please fix this.

Great app
Been using this app for the past 4 years as my main alarm. Great all round functionality. Only issue is that the snooze doesn't always do 5 minutes. It regularly snoozes 6 or 7
Great when it works
I really enjoy the app and its accurate sleep analysis, but about 20-30% of the time you'll wake up and it deletes that night's sleep analysis. There's another bug that messes with the volume on your phone but that's tolerable. Just wish it worked all the time.
Ch-ch-changing
I’ve been using this app for years. I loved the variety of sound that helped me fall asleep, and the gentle alarm that woke me up in the morning. I loved flipping my phone over on my bed for a few minutes of snoozing. However, more and more features are becoming “premium” or paid features. Soundscapes that I’ve used for years will now cost me a premium cost? Buh bye, Sleep Time. I’ll miss you.

I’m not sure why but my app will not load anymore. The last few times I tried to log, when I woke it was like I never set an alarm. I used to really love this app, but it’s not useable anymore

Excellent App, sometimes though won't let you change alarm time without re-installing.
This is a very good app, with one small issue. Quite often it won't let you change the time of the alarm, only way to fix it is to remove the app then change the settings and music again. If you set the alarm for the same time everyday get this app, if you change alarm times avoid this app till the bug is fix.
Difficult to set
Great app but it's way too fiddly to set the alarm time. Would be much easier if the mechanism for setting it were similar to the native alarm app mechanism. The clock-face thing is too sensitive, and it's difficult to peg it on the right time.
