Spacious resonance
I’ve had this app on every iPhone I’ve owned since I first downloaded it on a new iPhone 7. After all these years it’s still one of my favorites. Beautifully crafted, intuitive interface, and clear tones that ring true. The love of and in the work done here is apparent. My deep thanks to the developer. 🙂🪷🙏🏼
Waste of money
Does nothing but sets chimes. I do not want noise while I meditate I want a tiny sound after a certain amount of time.
Need a support email!
Hey guys I’ve been using this app for years absolutely love it but it now won’t open. Tried numerous fixes, nothing. Your support site doesn’t have an email from the link. Help!!
Past purchases disappear
I’ve been using the app since 2013 and had purchased full functionality that was supposed to be forever. Now that status has disappeared and they are pinging me to pay for a subscription that I already bought.
I-qi timer
This is a fantastic meditation timer because of the soothing sound and because you can adjust The sound volume within the app. This is the only app I found that lets you do this. Thank you for a very nice app.
Do not waste your money
The alarm does not work and the volume on the app hardly ever works
Just purchased
It looks great so far. Thank you for making it compatible with iphoneX + generation. Please make an option to activate more than one alarm (like it is with apple’s standard alarm). Thank you 🙏🏻
Such a good app
Beautiful sounds and works perfectly. Love this
Does NOT work
I have had the old version of this app for 3+ years, and used it on a daily basis. Then the app stopped supporting the different free chime tones. So, I was excited to buy this new version and disappointed when it flat out did not work - alarm function failed on multiple tries - and meditation function offered no way to enter duration! I wrote the developers 4 days ago - no response.
Great zen clock and meditation timer
My only issue (and the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars) is that selecting the bell sound for the meditation timer is very buggy.
Klang genial - Akkuverbrauch horrend!
Habe beim Entwickler nachgefragt, bisher leider keine Antwort.
A Soothing Option
I couldn’t stand being thrown out of bed in the morning with the more traditional alarm sounds, so I decided to search for a more gentle sound to wake. My search brought me here & I’ve never used anything else. The available tones are all so beautiful & simple, but very capable of gently shaking your shoulder to let you know it’s time. This new update looks very exciting & I’m looking forward to getting to know all that’s new, and still doing just what it’s supposed to. Take care~
Doesn't work on iPhone 6 Plus
I had this app on my earlier iPhones, and it worked well. But it hasn't worked on my iPhone 6 Plus. All chimes are just a horrible buzz.
Helpful, but could be better with a ticking clock
The app is wonderful. The various bells are very pleasant, and being able to select intervals is helpful. However, it would be nice to have an option to turn on the clock to make it tick.
Wonderful sounds, but not of use as a wake-up alarm
I bought this app to replace my Zen alarm clock, which stopped working after a power outage. The app is easy to use, and I absolutely love the choices of sounds. It’s just what I wanted! However, there’s a fatal flaw for me: It won’t play the tones when the phone is plugged in. (After I get woken but by my backup alarm and unplug my phone, the tone immediately starts sounding.) So if you are one of the many people who leave your phone plugged in to recharge while you sleep, and also wish to use the phone as an alarm clock, this app isn’t going to work for you. V. disappointing, and a waste of my money.
Almost perfect.
I wish there was a way to change the order of the intervals after I make a set of timers. Also when I name the timer my keyboard hides what I’m trying to type making it difficult to see what I’m typing.
A perfect, simple meditation timer
I’ve used the I-Qi meditation timer daily for over 12 years. I love its simplicity and elegance. Quick to set up and save multiple bell sequences. I use it for workouts as well. A truly delightful and useful app. Thank you!
It doesn't work. Don't buy it.
There are no sounds.
Excellent app
I’ve used this app off and on for a few years. I have used it both for meditation and for an alarm. The best feature is the various bells and gongs that last the duration of their natural fade. I would give this a 5 star rating if the app could switch to landscape mode on an iPad. Please consider doing. Thanks. Oh, by the way, the bells and gongs are even richer when connected via Bluetooth to a good speaker. Really excellent.
iOS 10 woes
Since upgrading (operating system and app) it is very slow to open and uses much too much battery (70% according to the iPhone settings).
Essential meditation timer
Very long time user. Lovely update in v 2.3.2 (3). Would love to support financially but don’t know how.
Meh. Ok when it works.
This alarm is not as good as the native iPhone app in terms of customization, nor is it good for daily use. You have to set it up everyday to do so, which is annoying. Moreover, the alarm only works about half the time! This was a waste of money for me, which I hate about developers who create crappy products that you pay for and can't get refunded.
Can't do 108 bows
I wanted to use this app for doing my daily 108 bows (a traditional Korean practice), buy the timer only repeats a maximum of 99 times. Frustrating. So this app isn't useful for me. It's lovely otherwise.
Great when it’s not crashing :(
Developers need to get on top of bug fixing. App has been crashing and shutting off every 10 or so uses and I send in the bug report and nothing happens... for at least a year now. Could be a great app if the developers fix the bugs. It’s well thought out and easy to use.
Love this app
Been using this app for over a decade easily for meditation. It’s simple and effective. I love the simple interface. The only thing I’d wish is a way to edit a timer, currently you can only delete and start anew. Great app that I use daily.
Won't launch under ios10
Used to be great. Dead under iOS 10 😞
what happened to my beautiful clock???
finally got used to the time issues for alarm setting - setting ahead of the actual wake up(?) but what happened to the sound of the chimes??? they sound grainy like a scratchy record - what gives??
Meh
It worked okay for a while but when I tried to use it last night, it didn't start properly this morning. If I can get it to work again it deserves a better rating. But failing to wake me and then giving a single gong when I touched the start up screen after waking up later than the set time, well, meh.....
Like so many iOS 11 updates, such a downgrade.
I would’ve given this five stars before the iOS 11 update. The new interface is ugly as hell and my list of chimes is virtually impossible to see. The old interface was so pleasing to look at with the parchment and the nice old style list of saved chimes on black where you could see exactly how many minutes and which bells. I’m completely mystified why developers can’t just leave a good thing alone and make it work with the new iOS at the back end as opposed to giving everything the ugly “latest“ Helvetica look.
Good alternative to insight timer
I have been using insight timer for years, but in last year or so they have really cluttered up the app and it takes a long time to load and get to the timer. This cost 1.99, is simple yet incredibly flexible and has great acoustics. Love it so far
Broken in iOS 10
I use this as my alarm clock and as a meditation timer. It has worked flawlessly for me, however after updating to iOS 10 the app will not open. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.
Latest fix has wrecked it
What on earth have you done in the most recent "improvements"? I can't get the golden ratio alarm to work any more. Really annoyed- I had this two days then you messed it up. Please fix.
Has Much Potential
I practice a more meditative form of yoga, Yin, where the poses are often held for 3-5 minutes. I was greatly looking forward to not having to set a timer at the start of each pose, but rather have a set grouping of timers to go off with the nice soothing sounds offered in this app. Sadly, because there is no way to control the order of the chimes within a timer and they just order themselves by length this was a wasted $2 purchase for me. The sound choices are fantastic for meditation and yoga. I really appreciate being able to set the sound level of them as well. There are a lot of good things going on in this app. PLEASE GIVE US CONTROL OVER THE ORDERING OF THE CHIMES WITHIN A TIMER and I'd be giving this 5 stars in a heartbeat!
Extremely practical
So I can focus on what matters. Allows me to set interval chimes as I wish. Love it and recommend it.
GOLDEN RATIO ALARM doesn't have an OFF button.
It doesn't shut off. Even when the alarm itself is deleted. This is insanity. There must be an "off" button easily accessible like the apple alarm clock. Eventually the only way to shut it off was to delete the app totally.
Excellent meditation support
Excellent for interval timing during meditation; reminder to focus, or division of intention setting, meta and breathing, for example. However, using the meditation tool seems to interrupt a set alarm, and alarm seems to have to be reset for each use. Lovely sound options and quality.
Toller Klang
Chime time!
Great app, just what I've been looking for, for a long time. Would give it 5 stars but I'm having trouble with the alarm. It's often unreliable. It seems if you set the alarm and then go back into the alarm to, say, check the time you set, it required you to confirm again. If you don't then it cancels the alarm. Needs fixing. Also when you set several chimes the timer gets scrambled up si you can't see the countdown. So I'll only be giving 3 stars for now. Apart from that it's a great app and I love the chimes.
Wow! Hooked my iPhone up to speakers—incredibly beautiful true-to- life sound💖
I was about to spend a couple hundred $ on a Zen alarm clock when I read about this app. To my ear sound quality when played through my speakers is 95% authentic! 🙏Send my gratitude to its seller, alphadock technologies GmbH🌷
Didn't wake me up!
This app stops working sporadically. Not something I'd rely on.
Nice alarm function
I use this app for it's alarm function and it's great. All it needs is a recurring alarm function and the ability to set select the days of the week the alarm goes off and it would be perfect. I did try the Peace Alarm app and it was terribly unreliable.
Alarm reliability... not great.
This is a lovely app for timing meditation, and I like the alarm sounds. BUT the alarm just isn't reliable. It seems to work if you quit the application completely, then set the alarm - but if the app is left running in the background and you set it... nothing happens. Quitting and rebooting the app every night is annoying. And so is oversleeping when you were expecting some nice chimes to wake you up! If I could rely on the alarm I'd give it 5 stars.. so for now I'm giving it 3.
