Every single couple should have this app. It’s all 100% free unless you want to buy like books or extra courses.
It’s ok except….
It cannot be deleted from an IPhone once it’s installed. It looks uninstalled but it’s sucking your data sitting in your system & hidden data.
Please consider my suggestion!!
First of all, I am very grateful to Dr. Chapman for discovering the Love Languages and for his many books on them! So many relationships have been improved as a result, including my marriage relationship! I appreciate this app and suggest that it be modified so we could add in our Children. Wouldn’t it be great for the app to help us fill their Love Tanks as well?
Great idea
I was a good idea and enjoyed the process However it seems they want you to use the website instead. It’s really annoying to have “no in app pitches allowed” every time you click on something. Nothing to do with my settings it’s cause they want you to purchase through website.
Love but could be better
The app has some great tools, but the app itself is not very appealing to my partner. He shows me love in other ways, but the app isn’t something he checks on his own and finds useful. Sometimes I forget about it myself.
Helpful
It tool for my future husband and me to communicate in our long-distance relationship. It is very beneficial for asking questions making us meet each other's needs.

Great app, but Needs Backdating Option
This is a GREAT app for so many reasons! My only wish is the ability to mark goals from a previous day. Sometimes, especially with more personal goals, I don’t want to pull out my phone in the moment — it feels like checking a box instead of being present. I usually reflect each morning on the day before, and it would be wonderful to check off goals at that time.
Assumes you are in a romantic relationship
Only got as far as taking the quiz based on a theoretical “partner” - the app wouldn’t let me proceed past that point without putting in a partner to share the app with. I just wanted a resource for 5 love languages as they relate to friends and family.
Notes and such
While I do feel that the app is helpful in tracking ideas and I can see it helping to know how your partners Love Bucket is doing. I do have some issues regarding the live bucket. My primary one is when you change your Love Bucket percent you do have the option to make a note But there is no way to retrieve it. Your partner doesn’t see the note either. If there is a change and a note is made, it ought to be something that can be retrieved. Otherwise what is the point of making a note?
Great App for Couples
This App is great for those of us who need new ideas to help us get closer to our (not so new, but definitely new to us, right, fellas?!!), gals!! It nudges us natural-born romantics in the right direction & reminds us of new things to do each & every day, guys!! You’ll find that this app takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out new & novel ways to make your wife or gf or any special lady in your life feel special & what fella doesn’t want that?! Amirite, guys?!

The Love Nudge app is quite useful and we appreciate it. However, some of the content is so very small that I can’t read it. Also when writing a reply to my wife, I can’t see her message because it is too low and hidden by my keyboard as I type my reply. I also can’t see the right hand side of my message because it is hidden behind the Send button. I would gladly raise my rating if these issues were fixed. Thank you

Great app to enhance your relationship
Cannot reset password and get in
So far I have requested to reset my password 4 times, each time, I am getting an email, which is great. There is no where to put in the code after getting the email. My husband works in IT, so I recognize this is a bug that needs addressed asap for anyone who cannot remember their old password and is trying to reset it. This is my reason for 1 star. Please address this issue soon. Thank you Update: I seriously wanted to love this app, my husband and I could truly use the help. However, trying to even get logged into this app is a complete nightmare. Nothing unfortunately has changed with the app for the better since the last time I tried logging into it. Today, I got as far as trying to reset my password, requesting a code, copied the code. Went to put the code in. The app had somehow gone backwards, was asking for my password again. There was no way to try to move forward to where I could put the code in. So I gave up and deleted the app. Hopefully in the future the developers will read through the comments and see that major testing needs to happen, to fix issues. Based on some of the reviews, it seems some are getting help with the app, that is great. Unfortunately it doesn’t work at all for our marriage, because we cannot even get into the app. At this point, I don’t recommend the app. It needs work.
LOVE the concept!
What a practical way to show love to the most special person in your life! It takes the guesswork out of showing those you care about the most your life for them. The only downside I can see would be the lack of setting a recurring task or the lack of setting reminders for six months from now or two weeks from now etc. Would also love to see the ability to add individuals or a completely separate app geared toward children or those other special people in your life that you care about as well.
Fun but frustrating

No option to message
It is nice to be able to let your partner know how full your love tank is. But I find a number to be very subjective. When you rate how full your tank is, you have then opportunity to write a note. BUT that note is NOT visible to your partner. Only you. I think this is a BIG failure of this app. Because this is the perfect place to bring up the reason you decided on your number. It’s a great spot for your partner to go and look for hints on how you felt well loved or how you might do better next time. My partner and I are great at communicating, but we are both guilty of not bringing up something small that’s bothering us, just to not interrupt a moment that’s already good. To be able to message these thoughts in the app when you send your partner an update on how full your tank is, would be really helpful. It would be a great way to bring up how you could have felt more loved, without putting the other person on the spot or make them feel attacked. Because let’s face it, bringing these things up in the moment… can sometimes lead to expressing it in a way that was more emotionally charged than you wanted to come across. The whole point of this app is to help love each other better. I really hope they add a messaging part to it, specifically attached to the tank rating sound he so helpful.

Garbage
First, I was misled by what this app was. Second, when I tried to log in and sign up, I was met with unnecessary hurdles. Third, the app then got stuck on a quiz that was impossible to get out of no matter what I tried. Garbage.
What about the kids?
Great app but I wish there was a feature that allows you to add your children as well. All within one profile to set goals on how to meet each child’s love language!
I Love The Concept, But……
I love the concept of the app, however, it does not logistically make sense in terms of how to use it. For example, I have no idea of how to complete my goals, and have them show up in the app as completed. The layout and functioning of the app does not work very well even though it is an excellent idea. I think with better directions concerning how to navigate the app would be helpful to users. There seems to be too many assumptions in terms of how the app should work.
Good but…
I really like the idea of the app, but I can’t figure out how to use it! I’ve tried watching a YouTube and figuring it out on my own, but I don’t know how to share my goals to my husband, and I don’t know how to fill his tank! A better, instructional video would be very helpful!

This app helps me and my boyfriend keep track of our progress and it helps us remind ourselves to keep loving in our partners love language. 10/10.

I love this app so far but theres only one thing i wish were different.
This app gives me a chance to communicate my feelings to my boyfriend without me being afraid or nervous to do it. I feel like this app would help us alot more if both me and my partner can see the goals that we've set.
Unfathomable!
I work in software - this app doesn’t have any help, and it’s completely unfathomable to me how to complete a goal. Also makes no sense that you set goals that you “think” your partner will like, and that they never see them, or know you are acting on them! What the what?!?
Should be for families
This is a great idea for couples yes but what about for single people who are trying to improve their relationships like with their children or with their parents this app would be so much better. If you could invite multiple people instead of just one person I would like to improve my relationships all around and I don’t have a spouse so although it’s a good app, I can’t even use it.
Long-Distance Language of Love
My partner & I have just recently started having to face long distance & this app has been such a breath of fresh air!! I looove the idea of love languages (though I’m very even & think they are ALL IMPORTANT) I do know for some, it’s very polar. So to assess ourselves for the other to see what we lean on really does help. & then I made my task list of things I can do from afar that touch on his top 3 & minorly on the other two. It is SOOOOOO HELPFUL to have a list on hand to work from to ponder over & think - hmm these I can do EVERYDAY & these might be fun surprises to really make him feel loved. I hope he uses it too cause I feel most loved when my partner just puts in the extra effort to make me feel thought about & little games or ways to connect, small or big, makes me feel safe, secure, & wanted. So THANK YOU for such a lovely app to accompany your book/philosophy & anyone getting it will in the least have a new way to communicate love better to their partner once you both take the short assessment.. love languages, the gottman readings, & attachment styles are to me the top 3 ways to learn about healthy care, habits, communication, & conflict management with your partner!! I wish you all the best of luck on your connective adventures!!!
Wouldn’t allow login
App has some sort of bug in profile creation where it wouldn’t let me press continue on the page u was meant to enter my name and make a password.
Good app, improvements can be made
I like being able to see what my partners love tank is at but it is incredibly annoying and counter intuitive to not reset the tank every day. Currently you have to do this manually which I think wouldn’t be too hard to fix
Great concept but poorly built
I am a big fan of the book. Even got the love language for men for my husband. We both got excited when we heard about the app but have struggled with understanding the interface. I can’t seem to figure out how to update the goal.
Great Start, could be better
I gave a 3 star because there’s a lot of room for improvement. Overall, I really like the concept of the app. It’s a great tool to track ideas for my husband and I to do things together and I like that it stores and allows us to share our love languages. Ways I think it could be better: 1. When I rate how full my love tank is, I am unable to review the notes I wrote or view the notes my husband wrote on his. It seems strange to put in notes and then never be able to look at them again. If there is a way to review these notes, then I haven’t found it yet and I’ve been going all through the app trying to figure it out. 2. App suggestions - I can thumbs up or thumbs down ideas, but I cannot remove them or add to the list. It would be nice to be able to do this in the idea list. I think for people who enter new relationships, it would be cool to have a complete reset button for the app, but for those of us who are currently in relationships they want to last a lifetime, it would be nice to be able to remove suggestions that my partner will never enjoy and not have to go in an manually add ideas we come up with continually. 3. Buying the $9.99 video sessions really didn’t feel like there was a lot of info for the price, especially since I had to buy the book separately. I would have happily paid a few dollars more if the book came with it. Overall, I think the app is a great tool. My husband and I have been using it for a couple of days now, and just in setting things up and taking the test, we feel better connected, I just think overall, the app has a lot of room for growth.

Like the app so far! Dev Suggestion: In the goal view, sort the goals by frequency. For example have a list header of “Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc” with the goals listed under the appropriate heading.

Good app 👍 Highly suggest the download. Improvements to get me to five stars: Being able to delete/edit my own comments from statistics. Being able to add the goals I completed in the past day or two. Adding a help section where I can look up questions I have about the app.

After taking the test I tried to save it, but it is lost and can’t be retrieved
A few tweaks
When updating your love tank you have an option to add a message. My partner doesn’t get to see that message. What’s the point? Also, when making a suggestion, it is sent as a message. I don’t know, I feel it should show up on your partners goals or whatever that list is.
Works
Keep using it and don’t allow the minor things get in your way or stop you. Once you do that, then this app will help you and your partner. My experience was tough at first, because we were super critical and over analyzing. Once we stop being so literal, then we started understanding each other better.
Very Disappointed
This app is very disappointing. It fails to do the one thing that it should be doing first, which is sharing love language information about your partner with you. I fully expected that when we each took the quiz and then connected via the app, the app would send each other’s results to the other person. Why didn’t it do that?

Could be better
It great having a list of things to remind yourself, but there is no way for you partner to see when you track progression. All you can see is their love score on how they feel. It’s been helping me as a reminder but there isn’t much for two way interaction other than they can suggest tasks
Won’t let me log back in
The app was being buggy so I deleted it and re downloaded it so see if that would help. Now it’s not giving me an option to log back in, it just wants me to create a new account

I wish that when sending a nudge to your partner you had the whole list of “actions” that are available under the personal goals as well! Otherwise it’s awesome!
Not very accessible
It’s a fun idea, but difficult to navigate. The “profile” section doesn’t have all of the profile info in it (I had to go hunting for “settings” to find most of it) and there’s a lot of difficult-to-read grey text that makes things look unavailable. I think that a few simple design tweaks would make it a decent app, but so far it’s just frustrating.
A little limiting
I just downloaded it but the experience is good so far. It would be five stars if you could add more than one person’s love language profile. What if you have multiple partners or want to make sure you show your partner, parents, child, and your best friend that you love them? Add this feature, please! If it’s already on there and I’m missing it I will definitely change my rating to five stars
