The app is great but does not seem to be working right now. I just keep getting an error message
App no longer works
The app was pretty good for a few months until this week. It’s unable to connect to the server and none of the features work.
New to it but optimistic
Overall very excited to try this out with my wife. We’ve only used it a few times so far but hope to use it more soon. However, I was messing around with the dares and created some of my own I would like to delete and or edit the ones I created but I can’t figure out how to do that without completely clearing all of my data in the app. Seems like there’s not an option for that? Would update my review to 5 stars if I could get some assistance with this!
Not always accurate
The answers don’t always show up the way you answered them, which causes confusion.
We want to see the “No’s”
It’s awesome we can discuss and get creative with the things we agree on, it would still be beneficial if we could have the option to see the No’s because the answer might be deeper than that and it might spark a conversation of adjacent ideas.
Love the app but needs something

Says it supports Spanish but it doesn’t. If it’s ever available let us know and remove it from the website.

Am Anfang ganz gut, aber nach der Zeit wird es langweilig. Die Fragen wiederholen sich immer wieder. Selbst die Fragen die von Nutzern gestellt werden, sind fast immer die gleichen. Nur eben anders formuliert. Warum kann man nicht am Anfang seine Vorlieben angeben und bekommt dann die passenden Fragen gestellt? Ganz ehrlich, da lohnt sich nicht mal wirklich ein Monatsabo!

Good idea, but 90% of the questions are not for couples that are happily married to each other and want to stay that way. Gave it a shot, but it’s just kind of disturbing, and gets old giving a thumbs down to all of the questions. We’re not prudes either. Seems to be overrun by swingers. Delete and goodbye

The app was designed fairly well. Easy to use and easy to restrict. That is until the app has asked nonstop questions involving other people. It’s been two months and we’ve had maybe three or four spicy questions that weren’t. I’m all for improving and finding new things to try but this? Yeah we’ve deleted it and won’t be back. Worked great for a month but then kicked me out of my account, unlinked me from my partner, deleted all of my answers, yet it’s still charging my account each month.
Great start, needs updates
This app is fun and gets you talking with your partner, but even with paying for the yearly, you run out of questions fast, and the plus packs from others are just recycled questions from the originals. Needs more updates and packs before I could recommend others pay the subscription for it
One track
Free version seems to be only throwing cuckold style ideas our way. Everything was about involving other people. Would be good to ask about that and then opt out of all questions involving bringing in other people. Hopefully, they broaden the questions to make it more interesting.
Needs ability to filter out questions
Agree with a lot of the reviews here that it’s pretty good but needs the ability to filter out certain topics like including a 3rd partner or porn.
Skeptical
I was skeptical at first, but I will say it opened new doors for my wife and I. We found ourselves touching and being more flirtatious throughout the day and continually aroused all day. If nothing else it’s brought us closer together!
Don’t bother if you’re monogamous
1. If there was a way to opt out of all the questions that ask about involving other people in your sex life, maybe this would be better. But there are so many redundant questions about involving other people as well as redundancy in other topics as well. 2. And the way many of the questions are phrased, specifically the 2-part ones, are extremely confusing. 3. Also, your answers aren’t private if either partner answers “maybe”. It tells you both answers under the “maybe” section. And under the “your answers” section, anything you answer “yes” to, it reveals what your partner said “no” to. 4. Also some of the sexual suggestions on the app are vile. There is no consideration made for people who may have had prior traumas. Y’all need Jesus. And a therapist.

Not very well rounded
Slow to provide queries. Doesn’t seem to be like IM and some of the questions myself and partner have answered are not even showing up
Great Idea, Bad Interface
I love the idea of this app—it can definitely be fun and help open people up to new experiences with partners. Unfortunately, the user interface just isn’t intuitive; both my wife and I found ourselves struggling to figure out how things work. The UI really needs to be redesigned from the ground up, ideally with the developers using focus groups to see how people who have never used the app before navigate it.
Great for communication
This app offers a lot of tools for communicating what you do and don’t want. There are a good amount of free questions, but the way they price things is annoying as it follows the new subscription-based format that everyone uses. That or you pay the same monthly price of $5 per question pack. I may pay for one month if it feels necessary, but I can’t see myself ever purchasing a lifetime membership or even a yearly

Could be better
Good app for fun and to initiate conversation with your partner. However, the unintuitive UI really holds it back. Another thing greatly holding the app back is the inability to move your answers to different categories after answering. Maybe after reviewing, you changed your mind about a particular answer? You’re not able to simply move to another category. You have to delete it and answer again. If making your own question, there doesnt seem to be a way to completely remove it. Once you create it, if you delete it, it will ask you that question again.

Why are questions not gender specific? Can’t skip questions, need to ‘maybe’ them then go back, delete answers and start again, very cumbersome! Thot swiping left or right would just move to another question, but it register the answer instead.

App suddenly stopped
My partner and i love the app and all of a sudden today it stopped working and we don’t know why. Keep getting error messages and won’t load anything.

KINK IS CONSENTUAL
I’m all for the concept of this app and love that it got some conversations going with my husband. But there are plenty of issues. My biggest issue is that it promotes things like “answering the door for pizza delivery naked” or “sunbathing naked so the neighbors might see”. This should not be promoted. You should NEVER include someone unconsenting into whatever play you do.
Helps a stale sex life
The app is great and has really improved our sex life and our relationship as a whole. This app really allows you to start a conversation about sexual acts/ porn and the possibility of potentially adding a 3rd or more to your sexual adventures with out judgement for your partner. Helps push the boundaries while still still maintaining a solid relationship.
Good; Could be amazing with some adjustments
Spicer is good for finding places where you and your partner have matching interests. And for facilitating conversation about those things (e.g. you can have message threads on each item). However, there’s a few things that I find lacking: 1) there’s zero information about how it works. The basic rating part is even unclear because I could interpret the blue/middle thumb a lot of different ways (e.g., I’m currently a little interested; not sure about this currently, but maybe someday; no opinion either way; neutral but willing if you want to). My partner interpreted it one way and I did another and we only realized that hundreds of questions in. If they’d have said what the middle meant or even just suggested we talk with our partners to decide how we wanted to use it, that would have been great. That’s one example; many features that haven’t been clear to me either either in terms of what it was (e.g., I couldn’t figure out what “open” was in the list of matches since nothing was there. Like with other parts of the app, I googled until I found someone reviewing the app that explained. Apparently you can add open l-ended questions for your partner, not just those with thumb ratings. None of it is super complicated. They just need a tab that explains the basic features and how they work (e.g., what is private and what your partner can see). Second, once you have rated a ton of questions, there’s no way to organize any of it that’s private to you. I discover that the “Wishlist” feature was visible to my partner when I thought I was just flagging things for my own ease of finding my priorities later. Then I went to use the tag function and discover that any tags you add to matches are also visible to partners. Is there really no way to create any private lists? What if I want to make a list or tag for items that I might want to try during our vacation but I want to surprise him? Or things that he’s more interested in than I am but I want to consider without flagging for him that I’m re-thinking them more. Or a list of things I want to pursue but that have some prep associated with them (e.g., things to buy or research). The match area becomes this massive dump of items organized by how you both responded but without the ability to privately organize in any meaningful way. Similar with the calendar. Items are visible to you both. I can’t imagine wanting to jointly track when we had sex or orgasms as I’ve seen suggested. (Sounds like pressure for anyone that struggle with frequently of those.) I can think of some uses but for my own planning of things I want to surprise him with, not things I want to put on a calendar so he gets to enjoy zero feeling of spontaneity. So just (1) add an overview of features and how things work (especially what is and isn’t visible to partner, what to do if you change your mind on a rating it hit the wrong button, etc.) and (2) add the ability to categorize or organize the results in a way that’s private and meaningful to the user.
