Recently receiving login attempts- right after recent authy app via App Store update-for accounts using Authy that I am NOT attempting to access! This was following recent 9/2026 update! Please verify this wasn't some breach!!!
Please add a dark mode toggle . . .
The app is fantastic just like it is on Android but, please add a dark mode for it. The bright white layout physically hurts to look at. I’m really disappointed that the dark mode toggle isn’t present on iOS and that ignores iOS being set to dark.
Give us ownership of our data
Authy does not have the ability to export your accounts. I moved to Authy from Google Authenticator years ago for this reason. Twilio, please give us the ability to export accounts.

J’ai perdu l’accès à mon compte alors que je suis sur d’avoir la bonne clé, je l’ai rester 2 fois et toujours le même problème, tellement protéger qu’on en perd l’accès 🤡

Why can't I change the order of accounts with drag and drop anymore. It drags but the order isn't saved next time I open the app. Fix this please
It sometimes doesn’t work
I have no idea why, but I use it for different apps and the code often just doesn’t work. It’s very annoying, I already started to migrate towards another app which seems to work well.
Not Perfect
I've been using Authy for years. I love multi device sync. Today I discovered it broke. Single code failed to sync. Reading support docs got me nothing. Recently I read some articles arguing there better options. Inertia kept me from switching. There is no export, or windows app. I was willing to overlook. Failed sync is the end of line for me
Better than using physical token
Started using Authy when my token generator went down. I have a new token but prefer Authy. Reliable, fast, don’t have to worry about misplacing it.
Don’t use this app
Absolute garbage. I’ve been trying to reset my account for months after my original device died and nothing has worked. Their customer service is worthless. Even attempting to delete my account keeps failing. Use anything other than this app.
Good app except for the Apple Watch downgrade
Does what it’s supposed to do and does it well except I used to be able to authorize prescriptions from my Apple Watch. There was an update about 6 months ago and since then I’ve had to leave the exam room to go get my phone to send the rx - my watch just notifies me that Authy has a rx request. Please bring the approve/deny option back to the watch!
Cannot export data
Unlike most 2FA apps you cannot export your keys for use in another app, so you are locked into Authy if you use it. I’ve started switching but it is a pain because you have to do it one site at a time.
Not for me.
I don’t like how it takes 30 days for my account to be deleted, I rather have it deleted the same day.
Good app
Good app. Previous version was better. When I have multiple 2FA in a row, I have to close the app between each of them. If they could fix this, it would be a five star app.
Updated App Signs Out
Main character syndrome for this app. They wanted to get Twilio in the name of the app so they made a new app and signed everyone out so I have to search for the key to sign in now. You have one job - give a code to sign in. Just do your job. I’m moving away from this app and uninstalling ASAP.
Great authenticator app, missing one thing
All around, Authy is great. My only suggestion/complaint is the inability to open it easily on my Apple Watch. It would be nice if there was a complication for Authy that allowed you to put the logo on your watch face and launch it without having to go into the watch’s app list.

La dernière mise à jour est complètement bugguée, les comptes sont dans un ordre aléatoire, on ne peut plus les trier, et l’affichage est particulièrement moche, ce qui indique clairement un bug. Ça ne donne pas du tout confiance dans une application pour cruciale pour la sécurité de nos comptes.

No longer works??
I used this app for YEARS to keep my accounts safe. It worked perfectly for a long time, but recently it has absolutely stopped working. Despite loading codes and 2FA being enabled, the codes don’t work and I would be locked out of my accounts if not for having saved recovery codes. I haven’t uninstalled or changed phones or anything. It just doesn’t work. I’m disappointed and frustrated. I’m also sad they removed the desktop version.
Search should be default upon opening app
Good look and feel up. Suggestion: when I first open the app, the search box should be preselected so I can immediately type for the app I’m looking for. Currently I have tap the search icon the search. Even after tapping the search, the “cursor” loses focus (and if something just finished loading in the background) and I have to tap search again. It would save a tap, especially for users with a lot of MFA apps installed. Thanks for consideration.

Pourquoi not compatible Mac ??
Avant même sans validation je pouvais l’utilisé sur Mac , je viens de l’ouvrir , il me dit de faire une mise a jour mais je ne peux pas , c’etait vraiment pratique donc en 2025 je dois me taper de sortir le téléphone ?? Je vais regarder la concurrence , si vous n’en faite pas pour Mac avec Touch ID , avant app iOS sur Mac et Touch ID fonctionnais

Once you sell your soul to authy its there forever. There is no export available and if you get locked out it’s all over.
Saved me from getting hacked
Installed this a year ago due to a hack that happened to me, saved me and such but it needs a dark mode cause I don’t want to get blinded in the middle of the night using this

The last big UI revamp is disastrous in term of UX and estheticism.

With an update, UI changed to a new ugly interface and alphabetically sorted my 10 years custom sorted dashboard. Time to move a new venture. Thanks guys for the useless update.

L’application est bien elle fait le taff, mais je trouve que ne pas pouvoir importer ou exporter nos différents codes, c’est vraiment abusé surtout aujourd’hui. De plus une petite extension navigateur qui nous permettrait d’avoir nos codes sans sortir le téléphone (ou juste approuver la demande) serait top. Petit conseil si jamais vous souhaitez arrêter d’utiliser Authy ou juste question de sécurité, gardez vos QR code ou votre clé fourni pour chaque site ou l’option est activée. Sinon si vous souhaitez exporter vos codes sur une autre app, bonne chance, car Authy ne le propose pas.

L’authentification ne marche pas avec Authy sur certaine application . Quand je supprime l appli ça me demande quand même l authentification . Je ne trouve aucun moyen de vous contacter afin de m aider

You may lose all you access to
Authy used to work fine, but they were hacked last summer, they removed their desktop app, they have no way to back up and export your keys. In short, it means you are totally locked in the app with no way to restore your account if anything happens nor to use your token with the other app. If anything happens, you are just on your own and lose all access to all your services. We need an app that allows us to export and backup
Resolution issues
On mac silicone, account list is ridiculously small, we should be able to use change font size and move the seperator with cursor.. Please fix it before ending up Authy Desktop! (Desktop is working good)

Locked out of everything
The fact you can't submit a request to generate a new authentication app if you happen to break or lose the device the code was stored on is the dumbest and most predatory business clause. Literally screwed out of 20 different accounts.
Excellent jusqu’au…
… Remplacement d’un iPad par un autre iPad…. Compte bloqué sans mot de passe de récupération …. La procédure propose de tenir compte d’une installation qui serait active sur un autre appareil et, ce n’est pas le cas :-( Je n’ai aucun accès, semble-t’il pour une installation “propre” ! Help !

Serves its purpose. UI is meh…
The app definitely serves its purpose. The sync and multi device feature is a life saver. However the interface is really bland and buggy. If you use search and type too quickly, the results are wrong. The search is based on the text of the key, not on metadata about the service. Can’t use custom logos.
