Best automation app
The best automation app that I’ve been using for years. I just would like the developers to work more on Apple like CarPlay or Apple Watch, everything else nice work!
Blank Page
The update from version 2.4.56 to version 2.4.57 no longer shows my home sitemap. I get a blank page. The new replacement app also has the same issue.
No multiple OpenHAB locations??
The app is very stable and works brilliantly in fairness but one massive drawback and criticism is that it only supports and points to one OpenHAB installation pointing to only one server. If you wanted to monitor two locations or properties with two or more OpenHAB installations this app won’t support it?? Surely it wouldn’t be that complicated to have this feature and you could have a location profile? This feature is a definite must have!!
Nicht funktional seit dem letzten Update
Seit der Version 2.4.54. crashed die App direkt oder wenn sie mal öffnet, findet sie keine Sitemaps mehr und lädt ins untentliche. Schade, bitte fixen!!

Long overdue!
This is a fantastic update for the iOS version! Fixing the Setpoint values is much appreciated. Search bar is also an awesome feature! And a little formatting touch up certainly doesn’t hurt. Adds a slightly updated look.
OpenHAB crashes immediately when starting the app
Running IOS 15.7.1 and OpenHAB crashes at startup. It dies immediately after flashing a white options pop up that I think might be asking me to report a problem. But it disappears so fast I can’t tell for sure. I’m running (or trying to) the latest version from about a week ago.

It would be great if the iPad’s version could support split view, so that we can open our OpenHAB panel as a swipeable side app that is always ready to be opened 🙏

Seit dem letzten Update geht garnichts mehr, eigentlich ne super App aber es nervt einfach wenn sie nicht geht :/ Hoffe es kommt bald ein Fix, dann gibts auch wieser 5* :)

Great app!
I’m giving this app 5 stars because it completes an OpenHAB implementation nicely. However since 2.0.0, setpoints display as 0. The workaround is to use a decimal step value in the sitemap (e.g. 1.5 instead of 1). Please fix this bug.

No mainui support dispite OH3 being out for ages. Come on seriously
Super App für Sitemaps
Die App ist echt super gemacht und arbeitet sehr flüssig. Seit ca 1 Woche funktionieren leider die Kurzbefehle mit Openhab nicht mehr was sehr schade ist. Wäre schön, wenn diese Funktionalität wieder repariert werden könnte.
Unzureichend
Trotz dass das openhab3 Release mittlerweile etwas zurück liegt, kann man zwar mittlerweile die UI Seite auswählen, aber sie nicht als Standard definieren. Was will ich noch mit veralteten Sitemaps oder dem HabPanel, wenn doch das neue OH3 UI der heiße sch… ist!
Keine Kommunikation mir Shortcuts
Leider hat openhab aufgehört mit Siri Kurzbefehle zu funktionieren. In der App ist alles ok, ich kann aber keine Sprachbefehle mehr geben
Openhab 2.0.1
New update fixed the crashing when it tried connecting remotely with a local address set. Thanks for that. Setpoint readouts are still showing zero when they’re not suppose to. The buttons still change the value when referencing it from a web browser but it still reads zero in the app.

Demo mode returns black screen. Connecting to a local server also. Shame, OpenHAB is awesome!
Version 2.4.39 constantly crashing
The App was really good, but the current version is crashing on every click. Update: crashes are related to svg rendering. Deleted all svg images. Now it’s fine again!
App stürzt bei IPhone 6, Version 12.5.5 ab
Zunächst hatte Ich auch das Problem der leeren Sitemap. Habe neu installiert. Jetzt stürzt die App ab. Schade. Keine Unterstützung mehr für IPhone6?. Falls dem so ist, sollte das in den Installationsvoraussetzungen hinterlegt werden.
Slider Funktion nicht zu gebrauchen
Seit ein paar Wochen habe ich das Problem das andere Slider sich bewegen, obwohl nur einer geschoben werden soll. Bitte beheben. Sonst alles gut

Just shows a blank screen and a search bar even in demo mode. Searching does nothing either.
All good except…
Really good and solid App. Only improvement would be to have more entries in the notification tab. That‘s limited to only 20 entries.

App works great for those already using OpenHAB
If you are already an user of OpenHAB, this app is a good addition to the web version. This is not for newbies. There are reviews here complaining how the App is difficult to setup and what not. This is not an app for people who knows nothing about OpenHAB. If you want a do it for me solution, go with the Samsung SmartThings. If you want a do it myself solution, give OpenHAB (the web version) a try first.
Latest update not working with my Openhab 1 system
Latest update had broken this completely for me now. It just won't connect. Browser connection to my openhab server still working fine. I know in running an older version of the server but I bet I'm not the only one.
Super Powerful! if you know what you are doing
For me using this with myopenhab and shortcuts on my iPhone opened a world of remote possibilities. I don’t use the app other than for the Shortcuts integration, so I can have quick access to some of my devices. It took several attempts to authenticate with myopenhab, but once it did it has been rock solid. I am amazed that this service is provided for free because many other providers charge for it. Great job with the App!

Image not refreshing
The new version 2.0.0 fixes a problem with image being squeezed into one row intermittently. But now image is not refreshing, even though refresh param is set (2000 ms for instance). So user has to pull down to refesh the image. Could you fix this issue?

Keine Funktion auf 2 iPhones
Auf iPhone X und iPhone SE (2020) installiert. Jeweils kommt eine leere weisse Seite, die App hat null Funktion. Demo Mode zeigt nichts an, von Verbindung zur eigenen Instanz ganz zu schweigen. In diesem Zustand komplett nutzlos. Update 02.03.2021: Endlich habe ich es geschafft die App mit der lokalen Installation zu verbinden! Hier fehlt ein dicker fetter Hinweis darauf, dass in der WebGUI unter den API Security Settings AllowBasic Authentication eingeschaltet werden muss, sonst geht gar nix mit der iOS App. Ich bin nur durch reinen Zufall im Web darüber gestolpert. Alternativ kann auch an derselben Stelle unter „show advanced“ implicit user role for unauthenticated... angeschaltet werden, dann kann man sich die user credentials in der app sparen und erhält eine bessere Performance. Jetzt wo die Verbindung läuft find ich die App prima. Kleinigkeiten wie Sortieren gehen nicht, aber damit kann man leben.

Complete Waste of Time
Good luck ever getting this to work. It's the usual incompetent hack put together by FOSS types, and utterly uninterested in usability. You can't do anything in the app till you register at their web site. After poking around their for fifteen minutes you'll eventually find what looks like a registration page except in addition to the usual email/password info it wants you to supply a "shared secret" and a "UUID" -- and good luck knowing what it expects either of those to be. Once you get past that hurdle, you can log in via the iOS app? Oh no. Apparently you now need to configure some URLs in the app. After making various guesses as to what these were, I was rewarded, on each attempt, with sme sort of failure message. At this point I gave up and concluded that life was really too short to deal with these people any longer.
WebView Bug?
First, thank you very much for the time and effort you put into this app. It's a "more than adequate" companion to the OpenHAB web interface...BUT...I was hoping Webview camera setups and Webview graph displays (Grafana/InfluxDB) would actually render with this update?.?. :/

Notifications with more than 1 line
I love this app but many of my Notifications have more than one line and for a few months the lines are superimposed if it is more than one. I'm always waiting for an update to fix this bug...

Great interface to OpenHAB
Works perfectly, but it does require having an OpenHAB server running at your residence. Setup is fairly straightforward- and help can always be found on the community support forum. Would love to see an Apple Watch app come with this app though! -1 star for lack of support for the Apple Watch.

The icons update correctly now with this update. OpenHAB is GREAT for interfacing with Arduino using the MQTT protocol!! Note to the developer: It would be nice if the settings were embedded in the iOS settings app, under "openHAB", so that its hidden within the app. Also the whole screen scrolls to easily when trying to adjust a slider/dimmer. Great job on the app! It's awesome!
Crashes incessantly
It connects once, but after that it crashes immediately on launch. The only way to recover is to delete the app and reinstall, then you get one connection again. Useless.

This is a great app if you have OpenHab. Unfortunately the current version seems to have broken IOS split view multitasking.
