A treasure
I am an American that found cross stitcher by accident about 10 years ago in print form. When our local bookstore closed I was unable to find the magazine anywhere. That’s when I discovered the online option. I still look forward to every new issue with excitement! If you’re a stitcher, or just love to peruse pretty things, you won’t be disappointed.
Zero customer service
Annual subscriber having just paid $50.99 subscription fee yet an locked out of new issues posting since my renewal. Multiple requests to correct issue have gone unresolved. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ENTITY. Unless you’ve got money to throw away into the ether. What a disappointment.
World of cross stitcher
Love the fact that you can get old issues. The only problem is you don’t get the bonuses. I wish you told us that up front because that was the reason I bought that issue and then I didn’t get the bonus 😔now I have to try and find it somewhere else.
Love this
Really loved this format. Only issue is since the upgrade this will no longer open on my iPad and the other device I have doesn't access the free content I gained with my first subscription. Not good at all
App update
Update: I’ll give it one more star because there is now a printer icon. However, there is no ability to use the full AirPrint function and print to a PDF so worthless to me. I could do that before the update even though it was 1 page at a time. I’m back to screen shots to GoodNotes so I can zoom in and mark off. I was excited about the update because of the printing. I could print but just 1 page at a time so figured I would be able to print the entire pattern. App updated and now there is NO printing function. There is also no Read Mode that was described in the email and the App Guide - just a table of contents. Magazine is still great. Severely disappointed in app.
Great magazine for all stitching levels
I just started cross stitching 4 months ago. I’ve learned so much from this magazine. There are always tons of projects that are great for beginners and well-seasoned stitchers alike. The digital subscription and purchase of the back issues is absolutely worth it!
Poor service lost all purchases made in App
Don’t buy or use.. lost all previously purchased magazines. Customer service unresponsive. If you make an in App purchase, you are wasting your money
I also love the magazine but....
The magazine is great but the app is terrible. I cannot keep looking at the patterns over and over they won’t let me see them after the first time! I’ll go back to hard copies or not at all!!!!
Not that good
I am fairly new to cross stitch, and enjoyed the magazines to start off with. But, with online subscription you miss out on the free gifts! I personally find the 'ultimate cross stitch' better value as I tend to make more cards than big projects. Although magazines are downloaded, when going through them again, you always need to be online.
Needs the return of the bookmark feature
I’ve only given his 3 stars, though the magazine is brilliant. When I first started using the app it had a bookmark feature which allowed you to create your own names for pages you wanted to bookmark and then put them into categories you could also name yourself. This was an absolutely brilliant feature if you’re an avid stitcher and need to find patterns for certain events quickly. Without being able to name your bookmarks or categories them the feature is next to useless. I complained about it’s removal at the time and was told it would be coming back but that unfortunately hasn’t happened. Please please bring it back this would make the app a five plus star rating easily.
All Craft Magazines Should Do This
I have really enjoyed this, you also have an opportunity to order back issues. I really wish all craft magazines would go to this.
Never a response
Never get a decent response - I cannot access the back issues of this magazine that I have paid for. I email and the response doesn’t help. The people don’t want to help and I cannot get my subscriber number. Fed up
Good for back issues
Great for accessing back issues, but I wish I could view them on my computer, not just on my phone or iPad
WOCS app
This app works well to look at magazines once you have downloaded them. However I purchased several magazines on my iPad and I cannot download them on my iPhone. The restore purchase button does not work as Described. I am disappointed with the lack of technical support.
Good content, poor app design
Good magazine, great content. Appalling app. Difficult to use, difficult to get account details/subscription/login. Could be an amazing resource but needs lots of improvement
World of cross stitching
Love this magazine always has the best patterns. And with the digital I can print from my I phone and I love it . Keep up the good work.
Love magazine, hate the app
Even though I’ve paid for issues of this magazine- most of them in fact, the app rarely lets me access them. There are some I used to be able to get and now they won’t download anymore. So, I recommend either buying hard copies of this magazine or screen shotting the patterns you want to keep, because it’s unpredictable if you’ll get to access them in the future. This is deceptive advertising and I wish Apple would look into it.

The app is very useful and usable but it is still very glitchy when downloading issues.
Major Shortcoming!
This app gives you in electronic form the exact same magazine that you would buy in the newsstand, but with a major flaw … there is no printing option!!! I can’t imagine why this publishing company should think that printing patterns are optional! I like to write on mine to keep track of my progress and to avoid getting loss. I now regret buying the 2 copies that I did.
Underwhelmed
Nov 21, 2017 - App does not load smoothly. Cannot print patterns to create a working copy. *Update Sept 5, 2018 App continuously crashes or stalls when loading.

Completely broken
It crashes when I try to open anything. Would be great to be able to access what I’ve paid for since it’s difficult and much, much more expensive to find in stores.

Great app for cross stitching. It so easy to find the pattern that you want to make and zoom in the picture when you need. Also it's great the idea of having all your issues in one place 😍
Digital Subscribers Freebie
I love this magazine! I have been a paper version subscriber for many years and have enjoyed the free gifts with each issue. I recently switched to a digital subscription and wish that when the freebie is a chart, the chart be included in the digital version. Otherwise the projects, articles, advice, etc. are excellent.
App won't open
After the last update, the app has stopped working. PLEASE FIX IT! I never had any problem before you did this update.
Nice app for excellent magazine
I love the ideas in the magazine and the app makes things easy to view. I wish there was a way to tell which month was which issue of the magazine since article references cite a number but the magazines are listed by month...is there a way to see both when looking at the cover pictures?
Highly Anticipate ever issue
LOVE this magazine & app. It is always filled with so many creative charts...it is sheer indulgence to read cover to cover. Love having my “library” of issues at my fingertips. Less clutter and MORE joy !! What a treat to myself ! Yes, I am happy & delighted !
Horrible update
Since the update, anytime I want to use this on my iPad, I have to delete and reinstall it. EVERY SINGLE TIME. before it, the app was fantastic. I sent an email to company explaining and asking for help. They just sent a email back telling me to do everything I had told them I was doing in my email to them. So thanks for reading my email. Not.

Can't See Any of My Issues
Wanted to look at my Issues today and found out there are absolutely none to be found! I tried to Restore Purchases several times among other troubleshooting ideas, but to no avail. I even checked my app purchase history and all the charges are there.

Constantly crashes
As others have said this app is completely unstable and basically useless. I would buy magazines if they fix it. The old WOCS app worked fine!
Review
I like having a stack of magazines at my finger tips that take up so little storage space! Some type of listings of topics and designers would be a great addition so I could browse the listing more easily to find a past design I'd like to stitch.
