Voice not relaxing at all
The voice is not relaxing. The instructions are good but the voice is not soothing enough. Had to delete
Cant get in app purchases to play
Its a great relaxation recording. Puts me to sleep and calms me completely. However, i bought 5 in app add ons and i cant get any of them to play. No matter what i do i can only get the original relaxation recording. At 4$ a session, Im rather disappointed and hope they fix this....
Where did the content go?
I purchased meditations through this app and now after the general intro, nothing plays.
Meh
All of these apps by Rachel have the same beginning 20-25 minute intro, but change in the last 20 minutes. Her voice is not the most relaxing voice as she peeks with a 'GOOD!!' right as you're relaxed and there's been a long silence. I actually jumped the first time I heard it. I do find myself using her techniques to relax but not using the app any longer.
Healing
I found this app years ago when I was doing research on how alternative therapies could help to treat symptoms of PTSD. At the time I was suffering from frequent panic attacks associated with PTSD triggers of my own. My therapist had told me that meditation could help me to learn to be more mindful within the moment and, thus, ideally lessening the severity of the anxiety attacks. Unfortunately I've never been very successful with meditations on my own, and in the midst of an anxiety attack it surely didn't work. The guided feature in this app however, has helped me calm down and come out of a PTSD episode more times than I care to admit. I mostly used the relaxation track to help treat my PTSD and anxiety at first. But I've also downloaded several of the other available tracks. I always try to pick one that's relevant to what is currently stressing me out, and turn it on before I go to bed. When I wake up in the morning I can definitely feel a shift in the energies within my body and a reduced stress response as well. Also, I am a Fitness Professional and Pilates Instructor, and I recommend this app when ever I can to my clients. I believe that the mind-body-spirit connection must be found in order to reach any fitness or health goals.

This is the worst app I have ever bought. The end.
Good technique to learn
The woman's voice is a bit hard to relax to she swells and ebbs with her own enthusiasm.
Disappointed
After reading all these reviews I was very disappointed in this app. Her voice is not soothing in the least, it does not flow she gets quite and loud and not relaxing whatsoever. I have about 15 apps from Andrew Johnson and they're absolutely amazing but thought I would give this a try definitely not worth the money. I tried it 3 times and had to go back to Andrew Johnson every night.
Turn her voice down and the "ocean" up!
The speaker's voice is high-pitched and way too loud as compared to the ocean / rain / background soothing sounds. Please adjust this. It's not relaxing.
Wonderful
It's been years since I've been able to sleep for more than 30 minutes straight. Now, with the hypothesis apps., I'm sleeping 5 hours straight for the first time in a long time. You can't even imagine how that affects everything in your body. I really hope that it keeps working, it's life changing getting that R. E. M. sleep and it's so important to our well being, I have been sick for a long time and maybe this is my miracle, and not just this app. , I have about 25 hypnosis apps. And pick a different one each night. Thank you.
Guided meditation
Her voice is far far far off from being relaxing. I don't know if the same voice is used on all them. But I would need to sample first before buying anything in the future.

This app works very well to calm me down after long day.
Disappointing
Have just finished this guided hypnosis and came out of trance very relaxed but with a real feeling of disappointment. I found the woman's voice a little wooden, as if she was reading a script, and slightly irritating. I'm sure many people would be happy with this Ap, but compared to many other similar Aps I use I felt it fell short of what I was personally looking for.

Horrible app
This app is not configured for iPad so the display appears messed up and doesn't rotate to horizontal viewing mode. In any case, this app does not do anything except to play a Rachel Meddows hypnosis audio with a relaxing visual backdrop, again which does not work on iPad. Pretty pointless.
Needs just a little more....
Nice,however she needs a little bit of background sound. She says the word "body" a little too much for my liking. This is a good meditation for people who deal with a quick flash temper/Defence...allowing them to see another way.
Glad it's free, deleting
This is just read from a script by a woman with an annoying voice. The part where she talks about the two roads diverging is taken almost verbatim from a Stop Smoking script adapted for relaxation. I'm a Certified Hypnotherapist and am shocked at the lack of originality and how she just used another company's existing script. The app/UI itself is also one commonly used in the app store for all the hypnotherapists, so nothing original there either, just plug and play of her reading a common popular script into an app. Also, I find her voice very high pitched and annoying, not relaxing at all, so deleting. I wish Kelly Howell (Brainsync), The Monroe Institute (Hemi-Sync) or Meditainment had apps but you can get their mp3s (Google them, MUCH better meditation sessions!)
Wish it was more reliable
Love the app, it really helps me sleep, but it crashes about once a week and has to be reinstalled. Could the developer please fix this issue?

Very disappointed
I bought this app as it clearly states it contains music tracks for relaxation. There is no music on the app at all. I do hope I can get a full refund as I am not impressed. Pretty gutted really as was really looking forward to using this app.

Love this appt!
Pleasantly surprised how this app is set up. I'm currently fighting my own demons by getting off all medications and going onto homeopathic meds. Having a hard time, but this app is really helping. I highly recommend it for living a heathy, balanced life.

Maybe I'm not very suggestible, but someone telling me to relax doesn't make me relax.

While not perfect for me (I would change some details), this app starts me down a very good path. Used with Reiki, it is a very useful resource.

everytime the screen closes during session the session stops. I was almost ready to buy some different sessions. Now I only want to delete. It is suppose to help relax. Instead I am breathing heavy very upset that I only had 4 days and it does not work any longer. u r the weakest link GOODBYE

I got this app after trying two other apps for relaxation that were nice but did nothing for me. I cannot believe how relaxed I was after listening to this just once. It was amazing! I feel very relaxed and even happier--which is strange bc nothing about mood or happiness was mentioned and I am alone in a room. I am downloading another one of her apps right now. I will definitely listen to this again.
The tracks need syncing.

I love it. The soft sounds and voices put me to sleep every time I work shift work and sleeping is a task at times. I can use this to put me to sleep. I highly recommend
Not working
Spent 4.99 on this and every time I try to open the app, it instantly closes. I should have listened to the other reviewers. Do not purchase this unless you see a message from the developer stating that this issue has been fixed. I am very disappointed.
