What people like
- Very fast with goalie start info
- Great alerts for back-to-back games
- Helpful for following specific players well
What they complain about
- App crashes constantly or freezes up
- Goalie starts are often wrong or late
- Updates stop during the playoffs entirely
- Login issues and lost subscriptions happen
Info when you need it
Great and accurate updates
Scammed
They “updated” the app and canceled my subscription. Saying it’s a “new version” and stating you need a password and username you never had to make when purchasing previously. So basically took my money
Love the app but……
This will be the last price increase I pay. I am out if they have another one. 2 price increases in back to back years yet no noticeable changes for the $$$.
Crashing
It keeps crashing checking the 2nd week of the season
Bug
Depuis une semaine plus capable de m’en servir…
Great App!
This is my third (maybe fourth?) year using this app and it’s worth the yearly subscription every time. The majority of the time I’m getting information before any other source and I find it really helpful to follow specific players/goalies/teams.
Laggy and crash
Ever since the last big update, app has been extremely laggy, unresponsive and crashes a lot
Suggestion
Please add the 2 current rostered goalies on the line combos!! Need to know who’s playing or subbing.
Unresponsive
GUI is slow and unresponsive when it is minimized and reopened.
Going Up
Definitely better than last season. This season, still a bit of a lag in between team switching and tabs. Other than that I enjoy my usage.
App has gotten laggy
App was great last year but it’s gotten laggy as of late. The fact that I pay a subscription to the app and that there are lags in loading time is very frustrating.
Crashes consistently
Literally can’t use for more than a few seconds without crashing
Good app but could be better
Great app for info. Wish there was a search feature on player news and the on the line combos tab, the first and second string goalies were added. This would be useful when goalies go down injured and need to see who is called up.
Great for fantasy, needs updating
Great first source of goalie starts and line combos. Notifications are rare. Recently logged on to my phone and the subscription “can’t be restored from App Store.” It no option to recover passwords or usernames. It wants me to purchase again.
Keeps crashing on schedule
Anytime is scrolld down the list of teams on the schedule tab the app crashes. Otherwise working well.
For Fantasy Owners
Here’s a real review. You can set up your alerts for every player on your roster, weekly schedule on your phone and it’s actually legible, starting goalies with back to back game notifications. All you need for a fantasy hockey league. Don’t want to talk it up too much or they’ll jack up the price
Keeps Crashing/Buggy
Can’t even reach 3rd week without it crashing. Not as fluid as it should be. If this keeps up I will be unsubscribing.
Watch for being double charged
Great app when you finally get access.
Left Wing Lock
Like most people I’ve used the app for a few years hasn’t been that bad but purchasing it 5 times in the last hour made me realize after contacting Apple that there is an issue and when someone purchases something they usually intend to use it. I’ll give this app and it’s developers a 24 hour window to fix issues or people like myself who haven’t had a problem in the past now all of a sudden sees there’s issues. Again 24 hours then I’m asking for my money back and I’m gone for good. Please fix your problems thank you.
Crashing
Normally great app but has been crashing constantly last couple weeks. Is there a repair for this or any suggestions?
Great app
Great app for fantasy hockey
Keeps crashing
Cannot check weekly schedule without crashing
Good/Bad
Strong app for what they offer but they take the year off once the playoffs start—everything stops being updated
Good app
up to date info. Would like to see the goalies on the line combination tab though.
Left wing crash
This app is unusable. Very slow and just when it’s starts working and you can access the information it crashes.
What’d I pay for?
I thought paying for the App would have more content? It’s just the same info from the website for free… but on an App instead?
You get what you pay for
This app continues to freeze. Constantly redone loading and deleting. No customer service
Unreliable sources
Championship round, relied on Leftwinglock to give me direction on a decision…said a goalie was confirmed, I picked them up (last move I had to make) and then come game time, find out that the confirmation had changed to a different goalie. LWL can’t be trusted! Better off with Dailyfaceoff
Great App, on the IPhone
Awesome information source. Well layed out...on the IPhone. The app on the IPad turns on screen rotation and stays in portrait. It’s using a very small amount of screen on the IPad about the size of my Max Pro.
Barely works
Love Left Wing Lock but for an app that you have to pay for it’d be nice if it worked. 90% of the time the app crashes in the loading screen. It only seems to work for me when it’s too late for the information I needed. (iPhone 12)
Not worth the money! Daily Faceoff is free and they update their info
App gets you to pay for the year then they take the summer off!
Crappy predictions on goalies.
Not very accurate with their goalies they say are starting and then another guy will start and it takes forever to know if they are starting, like up 30 min before the game.
Not a fan
App doesn’t have lines updated at all. Only good this app is used for is goalies. How this app is rated so high, I have no idea. Majority of it are complaints
Its all Free on the website
Scam
This app was great
I loved this app for knowing the starting goalies and updates for players...but I try to use it for 2021 and I’ve already had a subscription yearly and don’t know my login and password for restore and I can’t subscribe now..not sure if this app just is not active because I see that the last app update was 2 years ago...
Must Have!
You’re doing fantasy hockey wrong if you’re not using this app.
App doesn’t work
App is amazing but never opens after you pay for it, tried deleting and re downloading multiple times and never opens up
Needs to be fixed
App was working good for years but now it keeps crashing before I even open it completely on my iPhone...
