I love this version but after playing a few hands, the game hangs up and won’t reset. I have to delete the app and then download it again in order to play.
Nice game
Good game and very quick to play. I love that I wasn't bombarded with ads. I don't like that you are forced to play an 8 if you don't have another card. Other games like this will allow you to pass instead of having to pay the 8.
Seems ok, but...
Could be fun, but a few problems I see. —I think I saw an eight be the first card to start a game, I’m new to Crazy Eights, but I don’t think that’s suppose to happen. —When an eight is put down, the new suit, or color in this game, is shown and goes away so fast I can’t see it, it would be nice if the new color was displayed somewhere, at least until the next card is played. —I can’t tell any difference between 6’s and 9’s in the play pile. If you fix these things, I think it’ll improve the app.
Preferences are not kept
Good game, but I don’t want any sounds. Unfortunately every time I quit out of the game it turns the sounds back on

Preferences
Sometimes the preferences reset to default. I have the sound off (music and effects) and no card limit set. Sometimes at random the music will come back on and the default is set back to 3 card limit.

Keeps freezing as soon as you win. Would be a fun game to play if it didn’t freeze so much. Have to delete the entire game in order to play again.

I have enjoyed playing this game. Recently, when the game ends, the game does not return to a new game. Please fix! This game has still not been fixed. Whenever I win the game and a new game starts, there are no cards for me...just cards for the other three players. Therefore, I am unable to continue playing the game. I have to turn off the iPad and turn it back on to start a new game. Please fix!! When will you fix this? This is my third time writing. 11/1/18 Game is still broke. 4th time writing. 11/3/18. Game broke. 5th time writing. 11/6/18. Please fix. 11/8/18 crashed again. 11/9/18. Still crashing! When will you correct this flaw? 11/11/18 Whenever I win, the new game gives me no cards. Please fix!!

If it was faster, I would've given it five stars. I love the new game except for the speed. But I do enjoy all the new colors they came in with the update.

Still not working properly
The app was recently updated, and yet whenever you win a game it doesn’t reset for you to deal. Seriously considering uninstalling it. What the hell was the point of updating?

The update ruined it!
It used to be a very fun game, simple and quick, but since the last update, it became sooooo slooow it's not playable anymore. Too bad it's impossible to "unupdate"!
Lopsided AI...
I've been playing this for about a week. In that time I've seen about 2 8's. Also, you have to draw if you can't play. Now, maybe I'm just a lucky guy, but when I play with regular cards I almost always draw a card I can use. In this game it's a 95% chance that you'll draw three cards and won't be able to play. You won't win this much, but play is smooth and it's well designed.

Too fast, needs setting variety
The game moves too quickly. There should be a setting to change the speed and also to not always show you what cards to pick, so you can think for yourself.

Well designed almost too much so
Nice design. Good game play also includes a variation called Mau Mau. You cannot make a mistake, it is so automated that you don’t even need to be there. That’s my only problem, why play if you can’t make all the decisions (perfect for children I suppose)?

I played the older version thousands of times. I loved it just the way it was. The new version is so slow that I cannot stand playing it. It is so painful to wait for the cards to turn. I don't care how many cards the other players have to get. Don't show that. Also, when you are drawing cards the backs are light blue. This gives the player the impression they will be getting A blue card. Confusing. Can I download the older version? Otherwise, I won't be playing this game ever again.
Update is slower
I like the game. Play it every once and awhile to pass the time. The older version was really fast. The new update seems to lag a bit. The new colors are really nice though.

Love this game I started out playing with my daughter and granddaughter and got hooked so now I play online by myself and with them
Horrible update
I hate this new edition. The game is now so slow and there is no way to adjust speed in the settings. I played two hands and had to quit. I guess I'll be deleting this game. I wish they had left it alone.
Almost 5 stars
I have been playing this for over a year. For me, it is great. I like the speed in which it plays. The one thing keeping it from 5 stars is the skip feature doesn't always work and it is annoying. I have a skip so the way this plays, if you have a skip you can play it to not be skipped. Most of the times, it allows me to play my skip card. 25% of the time it skips me anyway even if I have a skip to play. Fix!

Its good the graphics are good and all but the part i dislike is the fact that the carda pop out when its your turn so you barely get to think wich card next to choose because it pops out fir you so it gets boring easly..

Love it, little fast
I like this game a lot. It works really well on my ipad. I wish there was a way to adjust the speed of the game especially playing mau mau because it goes so incredibly fast. I also wish there was an option to manually grab your cards if someone gives you a pick one or two, because it feels more like i am playing instead of the game.

Worthless
Each hand has a predetermined winner and nothing you do will change who wins. Tested several times with hands I was predetermined to win by drawing every time despite having cards I could play and the games would've lasted forever if I hadn't gotten bored with them and ended them after a while.
