Very Buggy
Since I’ve downloaded this game it’s “broken down” twice with the developers dropping the ball with not doing a thing to fix it in a timely manner. I had seen the same 6 names whenever I played, so either there’s no-one really playing (no surprise there) or they’re bots.
LOVE this game, but learned it a lil differently
It’s fun to play. It’s a lil different from the actual card game I play. We play 20 cards in the pile, 5 in hand, and 5 rows for the discard piles. We layer the discard piles, so we can see what’s behind the last card placed. When a discard row empties, you MUST play a card to the empty spot, and then discard. Aces and 2s MUST be played, if there is a spot open, and only 4 spots are allowed for playing piles. Wilds can be used for any card except Aces and 2s, and you can not play 2 on top of each other. We learned this game from the Dominican Nuns in Grand Rapids, MI, and it’s a HUGE staple in our family for card games, at least 4 generations now!

Game is ok. Too many ads. There are better versions of this game available.
Good and bad
Good thing is it’s my favourite card game on an iPad or a phone and the bad thing is it says purchase failed when I try to buy no ads

Poor game play
The computer generated people get to play more then the person who downloaded the game. Most the time when it’s the downloaders turn all they can do is discard. Second there does not need to be ads after every round for any reason. Third the playing stacks are supposed to be 4 piles not 3 no matter how many players and stock pile size. The player should be able to see all the cards in the discard pile not just the top one. It would be nice to have a chance to play instead of only being able to discard every turn. You guys have a lot of work to do to improve this game.
Great game
It’s a fun game. After a while though it just gets slow. But it’s a great game.
Please fix it
Loved this game so much the I paid to have ads free! Now this game glitches and freezes more now than before the update, which was supposed to fix that!! 🙄😟 Edit: game glitches happen on iPhone 7 but works great on my iPad.
Ok
It’s ok, just too simple. (For me) it’s a smooth game overall. Need some way to chat or send emotes. And some kind a levels or challenges. A way to invite friends. I. Trying a different one. But this one is ok simple.

Hot Phone
I don’t mind ads so much. Doesn’t bother me. The problem I have is that after about 10 minutes my phone gets blazing hot, and then the game slows down and skips.

One of my primary go-to games
I really enjoy this app & it’s the main card game I go to when I want to pass some time. The game is engaging, layout is aesthetically pleasing, easy on my sensitive eyes, & well-designed overall. I’ve had this installed on my phone for quite a few years now. Paying to remove ads was a worthwhile investment, considering how often I play the game.
Terrible
This is not the way Spite and Malice is actually played! First , there should be 4, not 3, middle stacks for playing. Second, you should be able to see all the cards in your discard pile not just the top one. In the real game, you might have 4, 5, 6 or more cards in each pile and you want them stacked in some kind of descending order, so you need to see all of them. Third, which has nothing to to do with game play, the avatars are just stupid looking and totally unnecessary. All you need is a game player name, not a cartoonish picture. I didn’t even bother finishing the first game and deleting this immediately after finishing this review!
Great game
Really fun game, always a good one to have on your phone when trying to pass some time. Only complaint is the number and length of ads

Quits in the middle of the game. Freezes often

fun game, but every other round the game freezes on one player; have to close and reopen game in order to continue play, and then your cards are different and your stock pile has more cards in it. I have deleted this app and reinstalled it after clearing my history and it still has the same glitch. Not fun so will just delete and find another Spite & Malice

This game is wonderful, it’s super accessible to play with friends and works offline. I don’t like that they added adverts but everything else is absolutely amazing I could literally play for hours

Can’t even get through 1 hand and there’s ads! Not just 1 but every 3 or 4 turns! Deleting it asap! No thank you!
Good game
I really like this version. The only draw back is it consumes a lot of battery very quickly.
Fun but poorly executed approximation of skip-bo
App kicks you out of the game after showing an ad, so you just can’t finish the game. We had 2 cards left in a 30 card game and were kicked out. That’s a completely deal-breaking bug. Timer to force you to move within 15s, but cannot be paused in any way, so you better hope you don’t receive a call or need the bathroom or anything else. Not sure why they wouldn’t allow a “propose pause” option for hosted games... Awkward game hosting implementation doesn’t take advantage of game centre and requires one to text a connection code. Has potential but, in general, very poorly executed app, give how long it has been around.
Spite and malice
Not as good as Skip Bo but is entertaining until it freezes up. I purchased Skip Bo then the developer did away with Skip Bo so they offered another game without ads. Now the developer has made me take " an updated game". Of course this new updated game has ads very frequently. Not really fair. There seems to be some glitches. While playing the game it stalls or freezes so I have to put it away until it starts back. I just don't understand why the game pauses but the avatar is moving it's head but stops playing the game.

Can’t host a game
Purchased this game a month ago and it suddenly won’t allow me to Host A Game. Says there was a matchmaking error. It’s been like this for both my friend and I for 4 days. Please help!!! This error comes up every time: SOMETHINGWENTWRONG WITH MATCHMAKING. PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
Nice!
I enjoy both Skip-Bo and this game, as they’re essentially the same. I find that the bot players are sufficiently challenging—I had to play something like 7 or 8 games before I won! This is a game of luck AND skill, and I find playing with bots to be very realistic. I’m glad that I took a chance on this app! It’s great!

Far too many ads. I understand having ads before and/or after a game. But having multiple ads during a game is very much excessive.
One complaint
My ONLY complaint is not being able to use the wild card as any card I want on an empty pile. Other than that, I absolutely love the game.

I really enjoy this game but I find the extremely long “pauses” with the players is very frustrating and there is no way to get it to stop. I just want to play a game with the few minutes it would take, but waiting is ridiculous.

Game freezes
I'll be right in the middle of playing and the game will freeze either on my turn or my opponents. I love this game but this is very annoying! Plus there's too many ads!

Why did you get rid of Skip-Bo? This is not the game I originally download. Very disappointed with this change.
Loving this sick
This is a great game and I love the concept of being able to challenge others to games. Downside is the number of ads - way too many, even for a free game. One round had six adverts during the actual game. Also there seems to be a glitch where the cards don’t automatically remove once reach 12 and sometimes this might not happen until it reaches 3, then the pile disappears and you have to remember that you are at 4 until someone puts a card down. Otherwise, cracker of a game.

Not much works. Waste of time and money.
It advertises that you can play with others (strangers) online but this feature doesn’t work. It also advertises that you can host a game and a friend can sign on to play with you; this also does not work. Playing against the computer can be fun, so I give it one star. A lot of room for improvement. They need to hire a skilled app designer. In my business, this would’ve been fixed in one day. I’ve been waiting months after reporting the issues and still no fix. Lazy. Not impressed by this company or brand.
