False Advertisement
The app claims that for $59.99 we get all the books. I’ve downloaded the app and paid the $59.99, but several of the books want an extra amount, ranging from $3.99 up. This is unacceptable.
Quand tu as deja acheté toute les albums.. FAITES ATTENTION POUR NE PAS LES PAYER 2 FOIS. JE VIENS DE ME FAIRE POIGNÉE AVEC LA VERSION LOTUS BLEU QUE J’AVAIS DEJA PAYER ET JE VIENS DE ME FAIRE POIGNÉE A ACHETÉ 2 FOIS LE MEME ALBUM
Can't download any books.
I re-downloaded the app after some time, restored my purchases (all the books) and they show as available to download, but every time I want to download a book, the animation shows for two seconds, the screen flashes and nothing happens. I contacted them by mail several weeks ago and got no response, so here's my review. A pity, as the app was great.
Amazing
This is amazing Tintin digital book app.
On veut me faire payer deux fois
Good where it counts the most
While there are some key areas for improvement, this app gets the main thing right: the books are in lovely high resolution, doing the artwork justice. I also really like the elegant new font used for the new English translation. I can’t speak to the accuracy of this translation, but overall I found it to be quite readable. I also enjoyed the supplementary materials which give historical context. The app claims to support Family Sharing, but I cannot figure out how to share the books. I emailed the developers about this and they never responded. The book reader’s zoom function is kind of broken in portrait mode, though I mostly read in landscape anyway. Also, turning to the next page is finicky. And it would be nice if the TV episodes were in their original 4:3 aspect ratio rather than the cropped 16:9 (with captions/subtitles please!)
Wallpapers don’t load
Good enough app, just for some reason only the first wallpaper (black dragon) loads, and when I tap on any of them nothing happens.
Livres manquants
Voitures, trains, etc… Sinon, belle qualité sur iPad

Where is my purchase?
I “purchased” an album. It vanished from the shelf, but is not visible anywhere else. I clicked “Restore my purchases” repeatedly without any effect. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, rebooting the iPad. Nothing.
Bug Report

Kuifje fantastisch app rammelt

Peu mieux faire
Cool Tintin Books
I wrote an adventure series called The Adventure Tales. It’s about a 18-year-old female newspaper who started a big journey across the globe🌏🌍🌎 making new friends and fell in love with a famous boy reporter who disappears 100 years ago.
Does not restore purchases on new device
Does not restore in app purchases on new device. this makes the app useless. Please fix issue and update the app.
Good but needs more cartoons
The Tintin app is very good, but there are some problems like not having all of the stories cartoons too if they did, I would just watch Tintin it’s super funny and it is a super good way to fall asleep. I washed all of them over three weeks and now I’m never on the app anymore. If you got more cartoons, I’d watch every single one. Please update the game and add more cartoons.

Broken
The app fails to download purchases after migrating to a new phone. So once you upgrade, you’ll never see your purchases again.
Can’t see wallpapers
Where are all the wallpapers? It’s just the first and then the rest are blank.
In app purchase not working?
Just tried to buy with Touch ID a short while ago but doesn’t seem to be working...
Tintin
Merci

Not American English
Buyer beware. If you are used to the American English publication of the albums, the translation here is not that! I'm glad they give you the option to download a sample. A few pages in revealed that this is not that version. A lover of the American English translation might find reading these unsettling.
I love it!!!
I love this app. It’s full of fun animations and little digital goodies. Ebooks do still need to be purchased, but the quality is excellent. My biggest criticism is that purchases made on Apple’s App Store don’t sync with the android app. I would like to have the peace of mind to know I could switch devices without having to buy the books again.
Kuifje
Beautiful Comics, now online
Unique in comics world fame and quality, since the 1950s from Belgium. Glad all the collection nicely now also available here.
Good quality but they DOUBLE CHARGE you for the downloads.
They charge $59 for all the Tintin covers and some virtual statues from the different episodes. But then when you download the actual TIntin comic album they want $1 more for every Tintin you download if you actually want to read one. So kind of gouge you twice. Happens a lot with apps like this. But just good to have a guy let others know what they’re getting into before dropping money 💰 into something like this. The actual Tintins to read are not available. Seems like kind of a ripoff for $60.
Couldn’t find Bangla language
This is indeed an excellent app. However I couldn’t find the Bangla Tintin under language and that was actually disappointing. An article published in tintin.com said Bangla language would be added which actually didn’t happen.
Etoile fillante
Where's the english version?
The app looks go... But they have promised the english version of the books for 2 years now and nothing
Good but could be better.
PLEASE ADD ITALIAN!!!!!!! It's great to have Tintin books available on your phone and sold for a reasonable price. The best thing is that buying the book in an additional language is only $1. So I'm now enjoying Tintin as I learn Dutch (and then French). The not-so-bad thing is that I have to buy the book in English first. I am guessing that if my native language were French, I would have to buy that first before I could buy the English version. This isn't ideal, but it's not too bad. I already have all the books in English, in printed editions. The really bad thing is that the electronic version of the book forces the reader to use the pagination from the paper version. It would make FAR more sense to have a frame-by-frame layout, where you could just keep advancing to the next frame. As it is, you must manually zoom in to read the frame, and manually zoom out to advance to the next page, and manually zoom in again...doing this over and over and over gets really tedious. Also, there are a very limited number of languages, while (if I remember correctly) the paper version of Tintin might be nearly the world record holder for being translated into more languages than any other book. I expect this will change as they get more books scanned in, so I'm not too worried, but I would love to use Tintin to help me learn Italian, Serbian, and improve my Spanish and Portuguese.
no zoom, no bookmark
nice to have the toons, but I miss a zoom and a bookmark...
Bien mais
J’adore tintin !
Arabic language support
Huge fan of hergé’s work. Unfortunately we can’t fully enjoy those publications without Arabic translations. Please add ARABIC language.
Took my money, won't download new book
I bought tintin in the Congo, and had no problem. So, I bought tintin in America and it won't download. I've tried different networks and my data plan. As of now old Herge stole my money. Where's Thompson and Thompson to fix this mess? Update it's a week later I've tried more networks, and still no download.
I love the Tintin comics
I do love the Tintin comics but I wish we didn’t have to pay for them
Language barrier
Why is this not available in English?
What is the difference
So...what makes this special and different from simply buying the books in Apple’s Book store?
Dream came true ❤️🙏🌻
Its the best gift I ever bought for myself. Thank you for making my dreams come true. Viva Tintin
No English Language 😥
I bought 5 books then after the purchase realized it's not in English. Very sad 😥
Good Application
Nice app. Which brings a lot of good memories , waited a lot for English version
My god
The difference in price. In Indian store, it charges 3.99 and other languages, it charges 0.99. I don’t get it.
