Worked for 5 seconds then stopped for no reason and now won’t reconnect to TV. Very poor help. 👎

I would give it 5* if I could change channels on my DirectV set top box and the signal connection lasted longer than a minute. Great for muting ads though.

Bad app
This app is good only if you sign up for there subscriptions if you don’t it has a free mode that refuses to work or detect tvs, and ads that completely crash the app. It’s constantly trying to get you to purchase the subscription with no opt to say no. You just have to close the app and hope it doesn’t come up again. Trash

I like everything about this app except for I can’t turn on the TV after it’s once off.

The app works well, I had an issue with one of the features, I sent a message to the developers and my concern was handled effectively and quickly. I am impressed with the customer support.
Perfect remote: Better than smart things
I’ve had issues using the smart things remote, especially with turning the tv on as it would never turn on. But this remote actually worked at turning the tv on and off plus the response time for the remote is quick! I liked that I had like 12 free uses for turning the tv on and then came the paid version but it’s only a one time purchase so I don’t mind of $17-$18, whereas other remote apps have subscriptions only. All in all, I highly recommend this app.

The app works amazingly! Connected to my Samsung tv. My only problem with this app is that it only worked for 3 days and then asked for a payment.

Downloaded three other apps before this one one of them wanted eight dollars a week! Others didn’t work properly. This one works and I’m using the free version. And it is great.

Not the best of apps
This keeps asking for the original remote to authorize my app to access the TV. I’ve followed the instructions for when it repeatedly asks for authorization. It STILL insists on authorization from the remote! NOT GOOD
Problem solved!
We have 3 Samsung TVs in our living room (& occasionally bring in a 4th) & it was SOOO difficult to control a single tv at a time. We tried various things…Apple TV on one, Firestick on another but we still had issues. We tried a variety of methods to pair specific TVs to specific remotes but nothing worked. Even using the Samsung smart things app didn’t work because we could never get it to download to our newest TV. This app has solved the problem! I now have the app on my phone & I also downloaded it to an old phone that no one was using anymore. That old phone stays in the living room & serves as a universal/dedicated remote that anyone in our living room can easily use.
Subscription needed
You lied about no subscriptions used it for a day no problem then it wants to charge me to use it again so no thanks found another free one on the app anyway.
Workable
First, I’m an Apple user; iPhones and iPads - like anything new purchased, you live in and out of the Guide… I had issues in the beginning, but things seem fine now. If not for myTifi, I couldn’t play any of my video games based in my Apple environment. It’s good.
Tv Confirmation is needed every time
It's a good app, the only problem I have is, the app needs the confirmation on tv every time and it's very annoying, because I need the actual remote!
Good, but room for improvement.
The app is good and all, but really want the app shortcuts to give me the right to choose. In Canada, we have no access to Hulu, so it’s grossly unnecessary to have it on the screen, seeing that it’s useless.

POOR UPDATES
This app used to be so good when others didn’t work this would but recently since their updates the remote has completely stopped working. It now has the same issues as other remotes where it Connects to the TV but doesn’t work when you click on the buttons. This app has also now gone obsolete glad I didn’t buy it.
MyTifi is great app for remote.
Good app to use. But if long time standby then it won’t start TV again unless using original remote. If fix that then it will be a great app.
Was Great
When I installed it a few months ago it worked great. For some reason in the last few days it decided my tv no longer existed. Tried a rescan still nothing. Uninstalled the app and downloaded again and the scan still could not find my tv. Installed it on my iPhone and still nothing. Very disappointed

I’ve bought the app entirely and it’s wouldn’t work. I’ve asked help from the developer but there was never answer. So unless you want to lose a few quid I’d stay away from this useless app.
This App is almost perfect
I’m disabled so having a TV Remote on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad Pro is do helpful. I’ve tried every single TV Remote Apps and most are crap but MyTifi is really good. BUT I have one major issue with this app. I always leave my Samsung TV 6 Series on standby, if the TV is off for hours this app can’t turn the TV on, you have to turn the TV on first with it’s own remote which is really awkward for me. But only the TV is on then MyTifi works. BUT if you turn the TV off by the app leave it for 30 minutes before the try to turn the TV back on by the app and it won’t let you as you need to use the TVs own remote again. Basically all I need is a TV Remote App to turn on my TV of whenever I want by using my iPhone. I’m pretty sure all TV Remote Apps can’t do this it’s almost like they don’t remember the iPhone is synced with t TV via WiFi. Can this be possible or fixed? Basically I want to completely ignore the TVs own remote... Plus it would be so helpful if MyTifi could access and create favourite channels too.
Just upgraded - doesn’t work
I have just paid the upgrade fee, after the evaluation period expired, but the app does not work. Does not switch on K series TV and none of the buttons respond. It worked okay in the evaluation period, but not after upgrading. I hope the developer contacts me to assist.
Ipad keyboard not available for All4 app
When I was required to sign in to Channel 4 (now called All4), the keyboard was not available on my ipad for entering this. I tried to get round this by attempting to mirror channel 4 from my ipad but a message displayed announcing that this was not possible and the samsung tv, 8500 series, turned off! The tv turned off with every attempt. Using the tv’s own keyboard is a complete pain. Can this app be made to work with any app on the samsung so that whenever text has to be entered that it will be possible via the ipad keyboard.
