Amazing
This app is amazing
Functional but obnoxious ads
It’s impossible to use this app to simply turn up or down your volume without accidentally clicking a full screen ad that conveniently pops up a couple seconds after opening. I understand wanting to monetize a free app but it’s predatory and annoying to intentionally insert advertisements strategically to force users to click through. The banner at the bottom that pops up and shifts the UI is tolerable but the full-screen advertisements are just rude. I will continue my search for a functional Samsung remote app that just works.
Good app, but
It’s a good app, but then I ran into a little problem. My TV keeps on cutting off of the Internet and how am I supposed to put the Internet back on if I don’t have a TV remote also I don’t have a button under my TV that I’ll turn it on so I always have to run and get my sister‘s TV remote. Still a good app I get four stars just it’s just that a little bit of problem that I have.

i lost my tv remote and i had to click allow to use the app as my tv remote so yea
I really don’t know how this works.
I have connected my network to my TV network and it still doesn’t connect I could be just blind and not doing it the right way but I have no idea how to change my volume cause low I can’t even use the button on the tv to turn it up and down this has now been a problem now sense now 2 weeks or probably more. If anyone know why please make a review about this comment or something. The app overall works well but in my case it’s in the middle.

Tv’s samsung demande toujours pour la permission
Va très bien sauf pour la demande de permission. Lorsque je configure ma TV pour « demander seulement la première fois », ça fonctionne pour 3 jours environ, je dois recommencer le processus. Tout le reste va très bien.
Need the Remote to Use This App
The whole reason I need this app is because someone in my family lost the remote. But in order to be able to pair the app with the TV I literally have to press one button one time on the physical remote. you can’t use the television button. terrible design.
only works SOMETIMES
i really like the features free to users but connection only works rarely. yes, i make sure my tv is on and connected to my wifi, so there shouldn't be anything wrong.

Useless
Need the actual remote to allow the app to control the tv. If I get to actually grab the real remote, then I wouldn’t need the stupid app to control the tv and can just use the real remote. So dumb. Update: it’s not only the initial approval. It’s every time I turn on the tv from the app. I did change the tv settings like the app recommended, but it still asks every time I turn on the tv. I deleted the stupid app and download a universal app that doesn’t ask every time.
Good but when it says to allow
It is good but when it tells you to allow the device to connect to the TV, you need to do it with a remote. But what if the remote is lost?

Couple of annoying things
It always asks “make sure the app is downloaded” when I select an app like Netflix or Prime. Once, ok but every time gets old fast. Another thing is it doesn’t run in the background even for a second. If I leave the app and return, it has to reboot the app which takes a few seconds and when you want to mute the sound quickly, it can be annoying.
Why so big?
Remote is far too big, I don’t like that I have to scroll up and down to use it.

works great for about 30 seconds
seems to be great but errors after about 30 seconds and redirects you to appstore to buy a different app. you must force quit this remote and start it again. then it runs for 30 seconds and fails again. says the unlock cost is $1.99 which i would be HAPPY to pay, but the app doesn't work :( fwiw i would be happy to pay a one time charge for $5-10 if only it worked. sad...

Was good initially when I bought it, but menu button doesn’t work properly, it just opens a row of numbers which is annoying. Hopefully they fix this.

Good app only one improvement that is let us select favourite remotes (like 3 different remotes) it so hard finding the remote i want when i want it

Great initiative and free, so that’s why it gets the stars. I cant get it to work, even though the app can see my TV. Selecting my TV does absolutely nothing. I’m glad somehody has developed this with a free option but sadly it just doesn’t work for me at all, even with the TV switched on, Bluetooth switched on, and the TV findable in the app, but no results at all.

Issues
The remote keeps disconnecting from my tv, then it’s trouble reconnecting it. Really frustrating

I used this app before & it worked, but my sister had a tv with the buttons underneath so I can press “allow”. Now on my friends tv we need the remote to do anything at all & it says “press allow on your tv to connect” which is why I need the remote. I wouldn’t need to download the app if I can do that fix this.

It will not connect
My client lost his remote and I have a Vizio remote on my phone, so I tried to download this one for him and it would not connect. It kept saying it timed out when I had just pressed the button. Over and over again. Very disappointed
