Awesome artist
Don’t waste your time
Terrible product. After three tries and the music either not playing, or playing multiple songs at once on top of ads, it was completely unusable
KSzar
It’s great I love the mixes and the cross fades, I wish there were more 50/60’s to accommodate senior fitness classes 128-135 bpm
Good when it works
App is decent when it works. A lost freezing and hanging. Recently app has been unable to open as it crashes at loading.
Great music selections
Need to give us a option to thumbs down a playlist so it doesn't appear again. Need to show the date the playlist was first created so we now what's really new and not another old one fitradio recycled.
Fire
I have been on the App for maybe 10min and I am highly impressed. If you’re a coach, workout or simply love music — add this to your App Library.
Crashes immediately
I LITERALLY subscribed after hearing some of the mixes- thought it would be a nice change to my every day workout rotation. The minute the payment went through, the app crashed. And keeps crashing upon opening. I feel scammed.
No search history?
How is there no search history available?
Amazing music. Glitchy app.
Absolutely obsessed with the BPM-based running DJ mixes. Has totally transformed my running training. And I use many playlists in the gym as well when I’m lifting or doing MetCon workouts. Unfortunately the app is SO glitchy and it’s so tough so download playlists to my Apple Watch. I have to click sync like 10 times and eventually it sends it to my watch. And when I try to stream them over cellular, they get choppy and start over often. But the mixes are so darn good, I tolerate all the glitches.
Need more workout options
LOVE the mixes, music is great. Unfortunately the workouts are limited in offerings for diverse fitness levels. Most if not all of the programs require a certain level of athleticism that excludes many of the people who would otherwise enjoy and benefit from this app. Offer more beginner and intermediate classes and programs!!
Unique mixes
Love the mixes and the different genres
Constantly closing the app automatically
The app won’t stay open for more than 10 seconds before closing itself. Have tried reinstalling, even paying. Nothing helps
Some good playlists but…
This app is pretty okay. It has some good playlists but it quits everytime I get a notification and I have to grab my phone to unpause it.
Bugs
Not sure if it’s the design or a hug but it is very annoying that I cannot lock my phone or else the music stops.
App has many bugs
Overall a great music app for fitness coaches and to workout to and has some decent playlists but it run into some of the same bugs trying to use the app daily. Trying to skip a song may randomly just play a different playlist entirely, if I try to play a certain playlist it’ll just play random one over and over again, sometimes my favorites won’t load at all, it’s a buggy app, but when it works it’s good.
The Best $ You’ll Spend
Do yourself a favor and purchase Fit Radio…. It has every mix for everybody - multi generational for multiple activities! Whether you need boat mixes, party vibes, cleaning music, meditating or hard lifting motivation - fit radio is the ultimate package for music! Highly recommended!
Usage Limit
I have been using the app for almost 10 years and never had a limit to my listening, but today it cut off my music and said I had reached my limit of 35 hours for the month. I work out 2-3 hours a day sometimes 4 for 7 days a week. Was never told there was a limit wth is going on, this is bad business and they want almost 60.00 a month for unlimited what happened to being grandfathered in, time for a new app, it has been consistent but not worth that money for mixes to workout to sorry but I am out
Wide range of genres, but playlists get stale
FITRADIO offers many, many genres, but if you’re like me and have a few favourite styles of music (I listen to about 4 main styles and some of their Featured Mixes), those favourite channels can get repetitive. I have had the service for 3yrs and do enjoy it… but would like to see new playlists in those genres more frequently (monthly?).
Limits
Recently introduced limits on personal tier were poorly rolled out and the limits themselves don’t work for personal use working out 5+ a week. Love the music, but not sure this was the right way to roll out changes and limits to customers.
Need better Apple Watch support
I want to see more than just 10 saved playlist on my Apple Watch
Phenomenal mixes
Impressed with this music app. Lots of good content and mashups. Blended for non stop listening.
Kept crashing
Never opened or was able to hear any of the music just kept crashing as it loaded multiple times. Deleted!
Great app
Fantastic app great mixes Only downside is you cannot go backwards (replay a song) you can only skip forwards. Otherwise flawless
Old
Stale music catalogs
Fit radio review
Good app but would be great if you could go back a track. (Only complain though)
AKS
This app is great! I coach gymnastics and the kids always love hearing the different varieties and mixes provided on this!
Do NOT subscribe!
I subscribed and received unwanted charges to my account. First it started with the $1.04. Then it was a charge for $2.10. Another one for the $9.99 that you are supposed to pay AFTER 3 months subscription. And then a FOURTH charge for $16.87. That’s $30 they charged me the moment that I subscribed! Complete fraud! I cancelled my subscription right away and reported them to my bank as my bank saw the charges and posted for fraud.
Awesome music. Awesome motivation. Get moving
Great music you will never hear anywhere else so you never get bored with your music choices. So the only thing you have to worry about is the next rep at the gym or how to show off to your friends with the coolest tracks.
Sound Quality
A 2001 mix from Napster re-recorded 7x in analog 96kbps has better sound quality. Between this and the monthly steaming limit, Fit Radio must be barely surviving if they’re having to depend on these types of cost savings. Cool mixes though.
Subscription navigation
I’ve not been able to find a way to check my date of subscription and I’m afraid that my app renews my annual subscription automatically. I’ve been trying to find the unsubscribe button but the app does not reflect that at all. Music’s great but I no longer use this as often and would like the freedom to cancel whenever I like without feeling like I’m locked down on auto renewal. Please advise on this!
Got Me
Im a fitness fanatic so to have an app catering to strictly fitness is nice plus you get rep and sets its counts oh yeah. Price is perfect.
Failed to honor purchase terms
This company failed to honor lifetime access terms of my original purchase. They have disrespected those of us who helped make them successful and are clearly not willing to honor their loyal customers.
Won't need any other music app
Free is great, but even at the small cost per month, you won't need any other music app!
Deceiving
I was able to sample this app once and I was loving all of the options. I went to use the app a second time and now it's asking me for a full subscription or it doesn't work at all! I'd like to be able to try it a little more before buying, thanks. Also heard this drains your data pretty bad. I haven't seen the result of my one time use.
Like the music, not the features
I like the music, but don't like that you can't go back to a previous track on the playlist unless you start the whole track over again. I also, don't like the glitches of the "explicit" setting... I have had to contact the support staff twice to change it. However, they do reply promptly & resolved the issue each time.
Frustratingly fickle
Crashes without warning a lot. Can’t get into the app to clear the cache, but I LOVE the variety
False advertising
This app popped up in my Facebook newsfeed as an advertisement. It gave the false pretense that this was a free radio app. I downloaded the app and began to listen. It was free for a whole minute, then it stopped the music to make you sign up for a full subscription. What a waste of time.
Great app
There are some good mixes you just have to give them time and a listen to find your favourites so you can save them. Could do with a skip back button on tracks as it seems you can only skip forward, and as said in the other review, an offline mode would be good but luckily I have no internet issues In my gym. Good app happily pay the £2.49 a month
Good concept not quite there
An app offering workout music is a great idea. Only downside is there doesn't seem to be an option to download and listen offline. So as soon as I walk into the gym my internet signal goes and so does any use I would have for this app :(
Confusing options
Lots of choices but the system does not allow a tailored music experience and lacks a choice of individual song lists as well as random selection so they same song starts every time on exercising which is very monotonous. Nearly there but not yet. Spotify and rock my run app still better.
Best workout ever!
The hip hop playlist was bop after bop and kept me hyped my entire workout without any pauses or distractions, did not skip a beat🔥🙌🏽
Coach
Forced to use this app at a gym and coming from superior streaming apps. There is no ability to create personal mixes that fit member base make up. Teenage boys and girls make up most of our demographic. Even with with explicit setting turned on, most playlist feature songs with strong sexual suggestions. No playlist is safe from this, including country party which features the rap song Savage-Swing as its 3rd song in the mix and Miss New Booty later on. Every mix is not truly randomized which means if you do find a decent playlist, you will hear the same songs, in the same order, every single time. Redundant and mind numbing. Most songs are filled with extra DJ noise and scratches just filling the air with chaotic nonsense. The sound quality overall is poor and not up to par of other streaming services. After just a handful of times of streaming these playlists for drills, I have received handfuls of complaints and get brutally roasted by the youth players. This radio is overall embarrassing for the user/instructor and cringe for the clients that have to participate with it playing the noise it spews.
Music is awesome!
I'm really into my electro house and struggle to find good mixes elsewhere. This app plays excellent mixes and listen to this all day. The user interface leaves a lot to be desired. Get this right and you'll have a killer app.
Needs a bug fix
The App keeps shutting itself down.. Can you please fix?
Best workout music
I don’t think any fitness app can top this for music. Granted there are music streaming apps with higher quality sampling but who’s doing critical listening when sweating?
Horrible
Some, I repeat, SOME of the mixes are good but you really have to weed through all of the garbage to find them, I swear they let any amateur DJ upload mixes here, some are complete train wrecks, idk who has time for that but I certainly don’t. Half the time my recently played isn’t up to date, not to mention its limited on how many it stores, but it also kicks you out and back to the home page if you pause for more than 5 minutes, and my favourites are nowhere to be found. The contact page for support is blank and emails go to cyberspace. I definitely don’t think it’s worth the price tag and such a shame that Steady Mixes partnered with them, what a disappointment. I’ll stick with Apple and Spotify until they get their app sorted out. Second time over the years I’ve tried them and cancelled. I thought maybe after almost a decade they would have improved.
Sometimes cuts out, but overall great
I use this app often when walking. Sometimes it cuts out for no reason. However, obviously that could be my provider rather than the app. Pretty good mix of DJs and podcasts too.
Zip code problems
I'm trying to create my account n when I put my zip code in it won't accept... Is it a country thing cause I live in Australia?
