What people like
- Easy to use and simple
- Good for checking in for flights
- Has improved compared to years ago
What they complain about
- Forces registration with Chinese phone number
- Foreigners cannot use passport for check-in
- Third-party bookings often fail to check in
Easy to use
Simple to use, same as any airline app really. Does the job and easy to check in for flights.
Need verification everywhere
Need verification everywhere, even when verified, still cannot purchase ticket. A disaster
AMAZING APP！
GRRRRREAT APP！ Easy to use
Foreigner usage
Really sad foreigners are unable to use this app… very bizarre for an international airline!
Apple Wallet
Useless
Don’t even bother downloading it. In order to checking in, you need a Chinese phone number. If you have one, they are gonna ask for your Chinese ID (which I don’t have because I’m a foreigner). No option to add passport details. Because of this stupid app, I couldn’t conclude my checkin online and almost missed my flight. Be better!
what about english version?
☹️
MOST USELESS APP
Don’t waste your time.
Useless with US cell number
App forces you to register. Cannot do anything without registering. Have bookings already made elsewhere. Cannot access them using booking info without registering. Cannot register with US number. Get an error with my Chinese number. I don’t even want to register, as I want to credit to United, a fellow Star Alliance member. Chinese airline apps are almost entirely worthless if you’re either an English speaker or foreigner. Hard to believe that even with all the IT talent here, they can’t find anyone to develop a decent app. How embarrassing.
Bad
App doesn’t let foreigners use english name or passport. Must be chinese and have chinese phone number. What a way to ignore your international customers.
